We decided to hold a prom-themed birthday for my 31st and opted to book a DJ at the very last minute. Andrew was wonderful about working with me on short notice and got us set up with Lawrence. Lawrence did a FANTASTIC job of sticking with the theme and giving it a super 1990's prom vibe. He also managed to keep the party going and help our guests mix it up, which was a challenge given how many different groups of people were invited. This review is coming much too late, but something definitely had to be said about how pleased we were working with Verducci for our wedding this last September. From the beginning, the team was on top of everything and answered all our questions so that we were able to make the best selection for our day. Julio was our DJ, and we were so pleased with the outcome of our wedding thanks to him! We met ahead of time to go over all our options for music and the general flow/timeline for the wedding. I wasn't an overly picky bride with a ton of specific rules and requests (I think! lol), so I gave Julio my list of songs for the important dances and introductions, but otherwise just gave him a general idea of music to play for the rest of the reception. I trusted him to choose what to play as long as people were dancing and having a good time. And people definitely did! We got so many compliments on what a fun reception we had, and I know Julio had a lot of thanks involved in that. We was fun, VERY patient, listened to requests from guests... but mostly we were thankful for what a warm personality he was to work with and how helpful his presence was that day. Contacted Andrew at Verducci about 6wks before our wedding, he was very easy to work with, good communication via phone and email. They're not the cheapest, and not the most expensive - you get what you pay for, and Verducci delivered. We worked with Jared, who was AWESOME to work with, solid solid DJ, really enjoyed working with him. He was on-top of everything he needed to get done, AND everything we needed to get done. I realized that what we were paying for was not just a DJ, but really more of an emcee, and someone to control the flow of our wedding from ceremony, to cocktail / reception, dance party. Jared worked with some of our strictness, and some of our ambiguity he picked up the slack. On the day off, Jared came to setup hours in advance to ensure things would go off without a hitch. We had a ceremony system, cocktail system and a reception system, so the flow of the event was seamless. Jared worked with our friend who was doing some emceeing for us, the two went well together. I threw Jared many curveballs, we removed the cake cutting from the event... then later added it back in, Jared mixed the music out and announced the cake cutting in a way that this was how it was always planned, our guests couldn't tell the difference. Jared is also a club dj, so real mixing, not an ipod dj, so that was great. The playlist was outstanding, we crafted a 90's hip/hop, r&b style playlist, our guests loved it, everyone commented how awesome the dance party was - much thanks to Jared!! I was very satisfied with their work. They did their work professionally and executed their items well. They did meet all of the tight timeframes by setting up in advance--so good foresight and planning. The gobo lighting on the dance floor looked amazing. They did an amazing job on setting up with the dance floor. I was made aware of a potential issue of the gobo looking distorted if the lighting technician did not have enough time to coordinate with the dance floor lay out and was suggested to possibly use one of the walls. However, I am glad we stuck with the dance floor projection. It looked wonderful. read more

Everything was perfect. We were coordinating and planning our own wedding so we dealt directly with Verducci. The wedding was around 250 people so we opted for the large photobooth. I don't know much about DJs but from my experience with VE they are awesome! They offer a full package: supplies and decoration, DJing, light shows, a photo booth, pretty much all the entertainment you could ask for when hosting a big party. Oh and check out their store.. they recently had a grand opening and it was pretty nifty! I contacted Verducci Entertainment late last year in regards to DJing my wedding. I mostly dealt with Andrew, who I find to be a very chipper, upbeat, and positive guy. He was available to chat or text at all hours of the night and even weekends which worked really well with my crazy schedule, and was also flexible with the music selections: I requested a really difficult genre including dance calling and he was up for the game. I appreciated his flexibility, willingness to work with my hard case, and his effort to please me at all costs. Lawrence is one of my favorite people ever! My husband and I got married in July at Murrieta's Well in Livermore. Lawrence helped make our wedding into an awesome dance party. He answered all of our questions and met with us before the wedding to make sure he knew everything we wanted. He even helped me surprise my husband with one of his favorite songs during the money dance. What I really appreciated is that he followed the guests' lead and played songs that they wanted to dance to. We didn't mind skipping some of our "must play" songs for the sake of the guests. He did his job as a DJ remarkably well - one of our favorite memories was the first open dance song at the reception where Jared played his goto Michael Jackson mix and every single guest joined the dance floor including my 90+ year old grandmother. This is the fourth time we've booked a dance with Andrew and his team of Verducci Event Productions. As a high school the success or failure of our dances lies largely in the DJ and music. Every time Verducci has hit the mark and been hugely successful with our students! Teenagers are extremely vocal about the music at their dances, and each time I've only received positive, glowing feedback from them about Andrew's team of highly qualified DJs. For out latest dance we had Erick, and yet again the kids were raving about how great it was. A true test...the dance floor was packed for the entire evening! We've just booked Erick again for our upcoming prom and I know we're in good hands. Andrew is extremely helpful; he asks about the themes of our dances and suggests lighting and decor to match. The guys at Verducci were absolutely great. We hired them for our wedding, and we wanted a constant mix of beat-matched house music selections to be played during the dancing part of our reception. We initially met with Anthony, who suggested that we work with Garrett according to what we were looking for, as Garrett had played house sets at local gigs. When we met Garrett, he was genuinely excited to work with us and play a two-hour house set for our wedding. We shared a Spotify playlist of our selections with him, and he mixed them all really well. It could not have been a better party, and it was our favorite set ever. It was exactly what we wanted. Well do I start! I would give this company 20 stars if I could! Andrew ( one of the owners) was my DJ for my wedding this past weekend. Saying that he exceeded my expectations is an understatement! Let me give you a few reasons why: 1. I had only contacted him for my reception because my venue had assured me that they could hook up any of my music I wanted for the ceremony no problem. ( I checked the day before and it worked) Well as I am about to walk down the aisle my photography runs up to inform me that the music wont play! As I am about to freak out and cry Andrew quickly disconnected one of his speakers and moved it over to the ceremony area and grabbed my hubby's Iphone and hooked it up in a matter of seconds so I could walk down the aisle the way I have always dreamed! Not to mention somehow he found out what song we wanted to walk back down to and had that playing as well once the ceremony was over! ( this was an hour and half before he was suppose to start) 2. I had decided to go with some of their "up-lighting" to add "ambiance" .I had only paid for 4 to accent the head table. Once I returned to the reception area ( after pictures) I noticed the room glowing in my wedding colors! It looked breath taking! I had mentioned the day day before that I was concerned about the lighting ( since it was outside and dark). Andrew reassured me it would be great! Once I had a second to sit down Andrew asked if everything looked okay.( He added about 4 extra lights around the room) I had told him to let me know what the difference was and I would make sure I got that to him that night and he told me it was no problem he just wanted it to look perfect! 3. Planning professional- Andrew was speaking to my photographer the whole night and wanted to double check if we needed to shift a few things around so I didn't miss out in any great pics before the photographer left. Thank goodness he was thinking of that. We did and I had people complementing me that the order had flowed so nicely. 4. Dj-ing skills: He played music ALL night to keep the dance floor jammin! Music fit us perfectly! I was really vague on the packet I returned to him and was really on his own. 5 Photobooth- enough said! Hit of the whole wedding! He even had a photobooth attendant there to makesure everything went smoothly. So many fun props set out. 6. All the extras: He let me "dj" which made for the cutest picture ever! He took lots of pictures of everyone dancing and is sending them to me. He took VIDEO which I can't wait to see!! And made me 2 CD's with all the music from the wedding!!! Who does that? Honestly without Andrew I do not think our wedding day would have turned out half as good! I will recommend him and his company to EVERYONE and ANYONE! I can not say more positive things about Andrew and Verducci Entertainment! If you are an OCD bride, then go with them! For our September wedding, I worked with Andrew. When planning a wedding there are many things you need to worry about, especially when you are detailed oriented, however with music, I had no worries, as I knew I was in great hands with Andrew. My wedding had a mix of Russians and Americans, but Andrew was able to get everyone up and dancing with ease! It wasnt forced and awkward. Literally, every song, people were up dancing and having a blast (we had a good mix of young and older people too)! I have never seen that at any of the other weddings I have attended, and I have attended quite a few now (as I am at the popular wedding age). My husband and I LOVED the uplights Andrew and co put up as well as the monogram in the center of the dance floor. Everyone thought it was beautiful! We were also pleased when we saw Andrew threw in extra lighting, it really made a big difference! At the end of the night, Andrew let us keep the little monogram piece that they used for the center of the dance floor, so we could put it in a wedding scrapbook. He also, as a gift, handed us a CD compilation of the songs he used for our wedding, including songs from : bridal party entrance, our entrance, cake cutting song, bouquet toss/garter toss, first dance, etc. It is just a lot of fun to listen to in the car and relive the moments from the night. So to sum up why you should go with Verducci... 1) they are easy going 2) they are responsible (answer phone calls/emails promptly) 3) they are fairly priced 4) you do not have to babysit them to make sure they got what you want! I would star that. Some vendors you need to watch out for like limo drivers, but with Verducci that was never the case. read more

My wife and I recently used Verducci to provide lighting, a photobooth, and DJ/MC services for our wedding. What struck me at first was how organized they are with literally everything. They have a very thorough training program for their DJs, which makes life easier for the bride and groom (a good DJ in my mind is almost as crucial as a planner for a wedding). Our DJ/MC Kelly De La Torre was absolutely wonderful, starting from the ceremony, then grand entrance, and through the remainder of the night. He handled everything with grace and confidence. Our contact with Verducci, Keila Morris (a former wedding planner herself), was a god send who made sure there were no "surprises" for us and that everything was covered. She immediately responded to all of my random questions, and was super easy to work with. The set up during the day of the wedding worked like clockwork. It was like watching poetry in motion, which helped put us to ease. The lighting and DJ set up was beautiful. Even one of the owners of the company (Lawrence) assisted with the set up, which really showed how dedicated Verducci was to making the event a success. Andrew was our DJ for our 8th grade promotion dance. This was the 1st time that we had Verducci Entertainment play for our kids and was very pleased with "total package" he put on for us. It included a wonderful light show that matched our Mardi Gras theme, glow sticks he handed out to the dancers - that really got the crowd going, and music that was current and upbeat. This was the first time I had arranged for a DJ for a middle school dance and initially I was concerned that I would not be able to find one that the kids would be happy with. I have heard often of how boring the dance / DJ was and that the songs were not what they wanted played and so wanted to make certain that this would be an enjoyable and memorable experience. I mentioned that to Andrew and he delivered. The majority of the feedback I have received it that the kids did not want the dance to end and I know that our DJ had a lot of do with that. First of all, Andrew is one of the most friendly, caring guys I have come across in the entertainment business. He was very accommodating! I work for a non-profit that serves people with disabilities, and Andrew DJ'ed for our Christmas Ball for the last 2 years. When I say accommodating, I mean that the lights he had originally thought to use wouldn't work because of seizure risks, and he changed them on the spot. His song choices were current but not inappropriate for the group I work with. His attitude was so positive! He is super meticulous and is an absolute perfectionist, which is exactly what we were looking for to ensure that there was not a worry in the world on our big day. From an aesthetic perspective, Verducci Entertainment is top notch. Their DJ booth set ups don't include cheesy folding tables with a tablecloth draped over it. They have an actual DJ booth set up that looks like it's from a high end Vegas night club. The lighting for our venue didn't have those ugly black cloths covering those lights either. His team has created boxes housing the lights so it's not an eyesore to guests. Lastly, the pipe and drape was quality as well. The drape wasn't a sheet. It was a thick fabric that was heavy and expensive looking. In terms of communication, Andrew always made it clear in regards to making sure our bases were covered. He explained potential situations tat would happen to the pipe and drape and to the sound system in case wind were to be an issue. He also made sure the versions of the songs that we requested were exactly what we wanted and we went through the timeline several times to ensure it was perfect. During the dancing, his mixes (his transitions into songs were incredible) were a hit and many people came up to us during the wedding saying the music was amazing. Another impressive thing is that Verducci Entertainment expects their DJ's to go through public speaking classes so their DJ's know how to engage a crowd as well as read the audience. We used Verducci Event productions for our wedding this past weekend and we could not be happier. We had Andrew as our DJ, and Verducci's also was there for our lighting and Photo Booth. Andrew, Lawerence (lighting), and their team kept in contact with us often in the months prior to our wedding to make sure they got to know our vision and every detail we wanted incorporated. Everything went off without a hitch. Andrew and his team truly listened to our vision and executed. Their service is unparalleled, and they truly helped to make our dream wedding. We had a mix of cultures, as it was a Jewish & Hindu wedding, and Andrew was able to blend music together perfectly to fit the bill. We booked Verducci for our wedding and we could not have been more happy. We were assigned Lawrence as our DJ. He was extremely accommodating to our requests. Months before, he created a unique mash-up of our first dance (a combination of Elvis and Pearl Jam) to perfection. He did this before we even booked him for our wedding. He also edited the father-daughter dance and mother-son dance. He got every song we requested for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner. He also played songs people requested during the reception. My friends were amazed and commented on how good our DJ was. Lawrence read the room very well, kept the right right music playing and everyone dancing until the end.
