Update: Horrible experience here. You walk in and they order you to sign in with the QR code, and don't want to hear that you can't because your phone won't turn on. I had taken the SIM card out because the phone wouldn't turn on and I wanted access on an old phone. Apparently without the SIM card in the newest phone, I don't exist anymore. I couldn't get my phone repaired because they said there are no technicians with Verizon. They only replace phones. But they cannot replace mine because they cannot confirm the issue. And I also can't buy a new one because they can't find me in the system. I gave the guy my phone number a dozen times and he kept reading back every other number on the plan and I'm like no that's this person. How is the account manager not findable? I got the access code from another member on the line but they still said I didn't exist and therefore I couldn't buy a new phone. But I won't exist until I have a phone that can turn on with my SIM card. The guy just didn't care. When I first asked if I could just buy a phone instead of fixing it, he was like I guess if you want to today... No sense of wanting to help. I asked for clarification of how I'm supposed to buy a new phone if they can't bring my account up and he just shrugged and walked away so I said I guess I'll try another store. Horrible customer service. I went in for a quick issue and was waiting in line patiently. However, one of the staff members was incredibly rude to us when she realized she made us wait for an easy issue that could be fixed while she was helping another customer. Will not be back. I would give this store negative stars if I could. In January my wife and I went in to see about upgrading our devices. They made us a good offer based on the promotions being offered at that time. We went ahead and ordered the new devices. What we were not aware of and what was not disclosed to us was that the sales person Daniel was applying a second credit to our plan. This second credit totaled $152. Sounds good right? Except this is not allowed by Verizon, which I do not have an issue with. What I do have an issue with is a sneaky/shady/dirty sales guy using tactics not allowed by his company to make a deal. Daniel never made us aware that he was double dipping in trade-in promos on our old devices. He decided to do this on his own accord to seal a deal. Two months later our bill jumps up almost double what it should. Verizon's answer is because we were given an additional $152 in credits we never should have received. Problem #1) this was never communicated to us verbally by Daniel or his manager at the store when we were there, #2) it was never communicated to us period, not on our paperwork, not email, not text, nothing. When calling Verizon corporate to rectify this issue, their answer is to set up a payment plan. In what way does this rectify the problem their employee caused? They want the customers to pay for their employees mistakes. This is completely unacceptable and down right wrong. I obviously cannot control whether someone shops at this particular store but just wanted to make people aware that the employees here resemble used car salesmen with their deceitful and unethical sales tactics. BE AWARE THEY CARE NOTHING ABOUT THE ISSUES YOU WILL HAVE WITH THE VERIZON CORPORATE OFFICE AND EVERYTHING ABOUT MAKING A SALE. My guess is they work on some type of commission or bonus based system and this is why they will deceive you to make a sale. read more
