I adore my 84 yr old aunt and I hate that she lives an hour away but love that she will use a cell phone to text and trade pictures. She recently got a new phone and was totally overwhelmed. We made an appointment at the Verizon store and Dan sat down with her and went through the phone app by app. He explained everything and if she decided she didn't need it, he deleted it. I cannot recommend highly enough the Verizon store in the Mall of New Hampshire (next to J.C. Penny) . We walked in on Black Friday just to ask a quick question about deals on phones. We were waited on right away by Ben and he answered all of our questions about a deal that sounded too good to be true. So instead of just getting one phone upgraded four of us got our phones upgraded. And the deal absolutely was true. Ben stayed with us the whole time during the upgrade process and transferred the data to our phones. Being the busiest shopping day of the year, I figured he would try to rush us out to wait on more customers, but this did not happen. Ben was patient answering all of our questions and was very enjoyable to work with. My daughter wanted a specific color phone that was not in stock and he made several calls to make sure that she got the phone she wanted. Ben has since checked in a couple times just to make sure our phones were working well and we didn't have any additional questions. I cannot recommend the Verizon store and Ben highly enough. read more

Go to the Apple Store. Apple offers the same trade-ins and deals. This store is all about sales and making money. After that, they do not especially care about you or your phone issues that may arise, they will actually tell you to go to the Apple Store and have them deal with the situation. read more

Don't buy anything from these thieves. Traded in a phone that was broken, forced to get a "free" Motorola crap phone despite me repeatedly saying I don't want it and have no use for it. Never activated it but was still charged for it every month until I caught it and had to move heaven and earth to rectify it. I have been paying for the insurance monthly. Unfortunately I dropped my phone and I went to get a new one. Though I had insurance I had to pay over $200 to get the new one. Or refurbished? They have Asurion come to your house to give you the new phone. Unfortunately I was given the wrong phone & wrong phone number. And I was the one having to deal with correcting the situation. I am not one to leave a bad review, but I can't in good conscience let another customer be treated as I have been. As a high school business teacher for the past 36 years, I teach my students to advocate for themselves in an honest way to maintain credibility. In this case, my credibility is being questioned by a salesperson at the Verizon Authorized Cellular Sales retailer in the Mall of New Hampshire. While shopping in the Mall, I stopped by this store for a quote on one new phone for my daughter. The salesman (Mike O.) looked at my account and said it would be a better deal to upgrade all four of our family phones. He wrote this out on paper, circling the new monthly payment ($251.00) stating that I would actually save $10 per month. After we agreed to upgrade the phones I noticed that my new monthly payment ($262.35) on the verizon website was actually MORE than my previous bill ($261.77). I called Verizon and was told there was nothing I could do but to return to this store and speak to the salesman. When I went back to speak with him, he first said that the difference was because we had a Disney bundle added. But we already had the Disney Channel on our previous bill for the same price, so that was not it. Then he said it was due to a public service discount, but that was not included on his handwritten quote that I still possess. Finally, he admitted he made a mistake and forgot to add tax when he quoted me. He then said he could not honor his original quote, but would refund the $45 per line ($180 total) fee that this wireless store charges to activate the phone. It wasn't much, but at least it was something. After close to a month I contacted this salesman again because I had not yet received this refund. He replied that I misled HIM, and that "I would absolutely not be getting any credits on my account." So much for customer service! I asked for the name and number of his manager, and he told me his name was Jake but would not provide me with a number, instead saying that he would pass along my info to Jake himself. That was over a week ago and I have not been contacted yet. So either Mike didn't tell his manager, or Jake the manager didn't feel it was important enough to follow through. Either way, their attention to this matter is unacceptable! Bottom line, my new bill is NOT $10 cheaper than my old one as promised (it is actually .58 more). The salesman admitted he made a mistake by not including monthly tax in his calculations. He told me he would refund $45 per line for HIS mistake that he is now not honoring. How can you trust a business that treats its customers in that manner? At least I have another example of poor business practice that I can share with my students in the years to come. There are many options for cellular service, and I hope in reading this review that others will learn from my experience to shop elsewhere. I know I will. read more

This is the worst customer service provider in all of NH. The Agents are very unprofessional and could care less about the customer . I have a 6 line account and wanted to upgrade 2 phones ( Cost $2,000. ) and add 3 more lines. They set the appointment for 4:15. When we arrived a very unhelpful agent told me he would not have time to upgrade and add lines because the store closed at 5:00 and he stated his manager would not stay a minute longer. New car salespersons are more honest than this store. Stay away. Fast talking up sells. Fees made to sound normal. And buy this get all these for free. Pretty much scammed out of $400 and sold a iPhone that had bigger capacity than needed. Was talked out of the phone I wanted for the phone they wanted to sell. read more

I had a great experience at this store with getting my replacement phone activated and all my data being transferred for me . Michael, one of the associates was so helpful and patient and even though it took awhile he was very patient and kind. I will definitely go back if I have any other concerns. read more

I have to say that I had the best experience recently when I went in to buy a phone & ask questions about another phone I was having trouble with. I was lucky to have been helped by Ed (not sure of his last name), he was amazing. He was knowledgeable, fast & efficient! I was there with my kids & it is usually a nightmare but not with Ed. He immediately knew the answers to my questions & I got a lot done in a short amount of time. This has never happened at Verizon before. I was so impressed I had to write a review. The sales rep convinced me to get a HUM device telling me that it would somehow save me money on my monthly bill. I ended up realizing that I was paying $10/month for this even though I never wanted it in the first place and only said yes because they told me it would save me money. When I called Verizon to have it removed from my bill I was told that I was under a two-year contract for it and would have to pay a $45 fee to remove it!! They refused to waive the fee even after I explained the situation and told them I was never informed by the sales rep that I was agreeing to a two-year contract for the device. I have been having a hard time trying to find a screen protector for my phone (apparently as soon as you buy your phone, they get rid of all accessories for it). I first went to the Verizon store on South Willow near Starbucks. They were not helpful and told me "all accessories were shipped back to the warehouse". Um, okay. So, I figured I would at least try the store in the mall. Couldn't hurt. I made the mistake of first going to an "authorized retailer" who tried selling me a screen protector for $80. Ahem. What now?! No thank you. On I went to the actual corporate Verizon store. Where they were INSTANTLY helpful. They got me in a queue to be helped, I was helped by Ed within maybe 3-5 minutes IF that. Seriously. They were super quick. And he brought out two different types of screen protectors for my phone, I picked out the one I wanted and he got it all set up for me. I was in and out of that store in maybe 10 minutes or so. Next time I should need something for my phone, I will definitely be heading back there. read more
