Small and understaffed. I came here as I was heading into Trader Joe's and saw the Verizon Store. Wasn't greeted when I walked in with my mother, waited around for about 15 minutes...my mom finally approached someone who said he can't help us. So, we left...and will never return. read more

As other reviewers have mentioned, these guys are essentially scammers. They have a huge Verizon wireless sign on the building front, but get this - they AREN'T Verizon. They just use the Verizon brand to attract Verizon customers, and then offer them way worse terms. No returns on accessories. Compare that to Verizon's 14-day return policy on accessories. Dishonest, scammers! STAY AWAY! They promise and quote things that are not real. I was promised SE to be free with 2 year contract. That was a lie. I was promised no activation fees. That was a lie. The quote in the store for 5 phones was $180/mo. My bill came to $560 the first month and $360/mo after. I went to the store to fix this and they said it's because the paperwork didn't go through yet. I called a few days later to confirm, I was told the manager who needs to approve the paper work is out of town. This went on until the 14 day return policy was expired. read more

They promised that our phones would be delivered 2 to 3 business days after Dec. 23, 2021... It is now Jan. 6, 2022 and absolutely nothing yet!!! I went to this store a week ago because my Note 5 had stopped charging. The phone itself was fine; it was the charging port that was not working. I did not know if this phone could be wirelessly charged, which was my goal (I did NOT want/need a new phone!). First, one of the salesmen said the problem was mine because I "charged your phone too much." I said that I charged it when the battery was low, and suggested that the manufacturer build sturdier charging ports. (I mean, how am I supposed to get power into this phone if I don't charge it?) He then said that the Note 5 could not be charged wirelessly. The store's MANAGER came up to us and agreed, saying that wireless charging was available only with the Note 7 and above. I sadly started looking at new phones. Meanwhile, my son called me and I told him what was going on. He came by with a photo of a Note 5 wireless charger on his cellphone. He approached Mohammed, another employee (not one of the first two I had spoken with--they had by this point disappeared into the back of the store, never to be seen again), and asked if the Note 5 could be charged wirelessly. Mohammed said he didn't know and would look it up. He did, and brought over a charger. He took it out of the box and said, "Let's try it." It worked perfectly. I explained what the store manager and the other sales person had said, and he apologized. I explained that HE was helpful and did not have to apologize for other people lying (which this straight-up was; it wasn't that they didn't know--they made up a story about WHICH Note model was the first with wireless charging). I wound up buying the wireless charger from Mohammed because 1. I was afraid he would otherwise get in trouble for actually helping me and thereby not selling a new phone and 2. He was truly a nice, helpful, honest person, and even knocked $10 off the price of the charger. If I could give the other two "gentlemen" (including the STORE MANAGER) zero stars I would. If I could separately give Mohammed 5 stars, I'd do that as well. i will have to settle for a one star review. AVOID THIS LOCATION. read more

DO NOT buy ANYTHING from this store. They are not a true Verizon store and barely an authorized dealer. They are scam artist, liars and theives at this store. They sold me a "new" iPhone 7 and insurance for the phone back in July 2018. I bought the phone for my son as a birthday gift. He started having issues with it almost from the get go. System failure, no service, flashing on and off..... Anyway I took the phone to them to have them help me try and fix it. They told me to take it to Apple because it was a defect in the phone. I called Apple help and they sent me to have the SIM chip replaced by the store and to a website to reset the phone. I went back to the store and the guy that was helping me refused to put in a new SIM chip until I put the Apple tech support on speaker phone for him to hear. I thought the problem was fixed, but when I went into the parking lot, the error popped up again. Fast forward through several more unfruitful phone calls to AppleCare, resetting of the phone, and no one returning my calls from this store. I took the phone to Apple and they CONFIRMED that I was sold a refurbished phone. They could tell by some sort of tracking system they have. My husband took the phone back to this store and was told that we could not use the insurance because it is an internal problem with the phone and they FLAT OUT REFUSE to replace the phone. Apple won't touch it because it was a phone that was supposed to be taken off the market for these exact internal failures. Verizon corporate is going to send us another refurbished phone, since that what we're replacing--even though we paid a new phone price. I have been working on this since before Christmas and I am disgusted beyond words. I posted my story on the NextDoor Neighbor app and severals popped up and said they have had similar experiences with this store. WARNING, BEWARE THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL VERIZON STORE Do not go to this store. It is not an official Verizon store. They will scam you and rip you off and any official Verizon store/online customer service will not be able to help you. This is a franchise, premium retailer. You will have no security/guarantee to back you up if something goes wrong. Last month Verizon had a promo for "buy one iPhone 8 get a second one free" with a new line activation. I went into this store to get in on this promo. I received one phone immediately and was told that the second phone was not in stock and needed to be ordered. Once the phone was ordered they would activate a new line. I was told I would be notified in a week when the phone came in. That never happened. I went in to check on the status of the phone and was told that the representative ordered the wrong color and had to order the phone again in the correct color. Okay, no problem, I thought. HE LIED TO MY FACE. When I went back again to check the status of the phone, I was told absolutely no order had been placed. Not the original order and not the corrected order. They lied directly to my face in order to get a sale on the phone without having to give a second one free. Why would they? That would hurt their bottom line. The Buy One/Get One free promo was an official Verizon promotion. I could have received this promo from any Verizon store, but unfortunately I walked into an unofficial store who scammed me. They lied to my face through friendly smiles until the promotion ended then they said they couldn't help me because the promotion had ended. As an unofficial store, they do not have to honor official Verizon promos, but instead of telling me that they lied to me in order to make a sale. On top of that, this store charged $10 more for the iPhone itself and charged a $20 Setup & Sync fee that the official Verizon store does not charge. Please avoid this store if at all possible. Don't get scammed. Be careful! Go only to official stores like the one in Fair Oaks Mall. read more

This location is the WORST Verizon location I have ever been to. They are NOT HONEST people and they trick you into getting something you do not want. They offered me something for "free" and said there will be absolutely NO CHARGE at all since I have a plan with 4 phones and have been a customer with a plan for the past 12+ years that I am eligible to test out a product for FREE. Then on my next bill, I see a $65 activation fee. I was shocked at first, then I said okay, I guess they lied, but I'll forgive it since they gave me the product for free. Then I see a $20 charge every month on my account. I went to the store several times to tell the manager his employee was dishonest and that this was unacceptable, but they were no help at all. I even tried to cancel it, and they said I'm stuck with it. So now I paid $65 activation fee, and $20 every single month for a product I am not using and did not even use once. Also, FYI, this was one of those products that gives you wifi if you are somewhere that doesn't have internet service. VERY VERY DISHONEST STORE with extremely sneaky and dishonest employees and management. Do not go to this location!! read more

I purchased an iPad on 08 June 2019 from this store located on 9444 Main St, Fairfax, VA 22031 only to find out after receiving my monthly bill from Verizon, that the employees of this store lied to me. Verizon told me that the $100.00 rebate the store promised me was not something they would honor. They advised me to immediately return the item to the store - something I did right away on 21 June I was surprised when the store's employee/manager took the iPad out of the casing, and Immediately showed me a pin-size scratch on the left side of the IPad's frame - a tiny one I was totally unaware of because it was in a case but one, the employee seemed to knew about... The employee then proceeded to scratch this pin size dot with his nail which made it worse... He then told me that because the item was damaged, the store would not return me the money. (He also accused me of dropping the IPad, which I did not do.) I am keeping the iPad but would like to note in closing, that I have been duped by the so called Verizon employees of this store. read more
