we never will go to anacortes store.the manager is so improfessional ,terriable coustum service.he sent out my husband first visiting and we came back again and wasted 2 hours for nothing.finially,we went to Burllington verizon store.Chad spent less 5 minutes to solved problem. we went to the store for add a sim card to an old phone since we lost the phone.the staff Joseph was really kind ,but he still tried to add esims even i reminded him so many times we have been tried via verizon online serice and failed ,it needs a sims card.he asked his manager and was told call verizon support and they tried near 2 hours and told me mt phone was loced by previous carrier .even the phone showes it is unlocked.and he recommend me add another line for 15 dollar and received free phone.i stayed there two hours,his manager only walked out his office once with a lady and ignored us and no name tag and basic greeting to customs and went out for lunch.he sent my husband out with excuse- busy and go calling verizon or come back half hour later.after 2 hours ,we went to verizon store burlington and staff Chad assisted us to add a sim card to our phone in less 5 minutes and volentery to tracked ourlast phone and secure our datas, referal Chad burlington .he is so knowledgable . read more

I've only been in a few times and I can't speak too much in the overall store and all employees. However, Paul specifically is really great. My wife and I came in to get new phones after mine had recently cracked and he helped us through the entire process, making sure we got exactly what we wanted, trying to help us lower our bill and even stayed to help us after the store was technically already closed. My bill isn't much cheaper than it was before but Paul helped me save a couple bucks and walk out with a brand new iPhone and the same coverage. Will definitely come back to the store for any future phone or service needs as long as Paul works there. read more

Rudist person in Anacortes. Don't choose Verizon and esp. this store. The man with the beard (seems to be Manager) is the most rude person I've ever met in Anacortes. We bought a phone and got a Verizon plan from him. He was ever so nice then... .. a few weeks later, I went in for help and he was rude, rude, and an a**hole. BEWARE! I am so floored. Usually business' and people in our town are neighborly, easy going, and helpful. Not here; unfortunately TCC is the closest store for Verizon phones. If I had to average the service/ people that I've had to work with there, it would be 2 out of 3 times that I didn't get help or was up-sold a product that was "instock" rather then what I wanted. Today though, today I'm leaving a review because the "help" was that bad. Today I got the used car salesman of the year. Slick doesn't sum up what happened When I tried to call BS on this sales person he actually said he was doing me a service, saving me time & headache. Crappy customer service! Went here to upgrade my service, including finally ditching my dumb phone to a smart phone. She upgraded the account... And then took a phone call. Apparently the person on the other end of the phone needed more help, because she tried to encourage me to be on my way. But I still needed a SIM card for my new smartphone (since my previous dumb phone had none). Not only did she want to charge me $10 for the SIM card, but she wanted to charge $10 to install it. Um, no. Meanwhile, she's still on the phone with another customer while her supervisor is sitting at his desk doing nothing. I'm sorry, but this all equals crappy customer service in my book. I went to Costco who have me a SIM card for FREE and was surprised to hear Anacortes wanted to charge for it. I will not be returning to this Verizon location. read more

Went to the store at 11:23 a.m. - Lights off, open sign not on but it said they opened at 10. Went to get back into my car and guy opened the door and said they were doing inventory and what did I need? I received a new Verizon phone and needed the info transferred from my old phone. He asked where I got the phone. I told him "Verizon". He said he would charge me $30. I told him that Verizon told me it would be free b/c I am a Verizon customer. He said no. It is the time of the corona virus and the phone is my contact with family, friends and work. Rather than help someone in need, he chose to "stick to their policy" I DID purchase my old phone there and cannot do the transfer myself b/c the screen is 2/3 black. Thank for nothing. read more

One star is one too many for this business! After four visits within the past 8 months for different cellular related reasons, we have not received resolutions to our needs. Employees/representatives have been rude, rude, rude. They do not know the meaning of "customer service". I phoned Verizon to complain on the verge of switching carriers as a result and was advised this location is an "indirect store" and suggested traveling to the Burlington corporate store location for service. STAY AWAY from the Anacortes store unless you are ready for anxiety levels to rise. read more

This is a terrible store! The manager is rude and unhelpful, abrasive to customers And his own staff. The staff member we dealt with in the purchase of our new IPhones was courteous but woefully inexperienced. After 4 hours of trying to get our new phones going, the manager finally intervened and got nothing resolved. We had to come back the next day where a different employee from another office was able to help us and had us on our way in 30 minutes . This is why most customers leave town for other Verizon venues. read more

I had a great experience at the Anacortes, Washington Verizon store today. I was fortunate enough to have Eric help me with my problem not being able to receive or send emails. He was patient, personable and made me feel at ease and lessened my stress with his kindness to help. I felt he welcomed new people who came into the store warmly and told them he would help them also. I am thrilled Anacortes has him in their store. Even when a problem came up he just didn't say he can't fix it but gave me ideas to try. I must say he did fix one problem and I left the store feeling happy. I give this store a negative star rating. I have never been treated so rudely by a private company. I am warning you do not buy directly from them. They are not a Verizon company. They are private and they will not honor returns the way apple does or a real Verizon store. When I called customer service she apologized and said if I had bought the phone from an authorized Verizon store she would be happy to take back my return. I was shocked when I realized the store put $1092.51 on my American Express was not the real deal. I tried to return an iPhone 7 within the two weeks. I was told I would pay a 35.00 restocking fee by Ofelia and to return it in the box she said nothing about not being able to use the charger and the earphones. After the sale I carefully put the phone into a case and I carefully put it back into the box. She found a tiny spot in the corner which may have happened when she put on the case. Again I was wrong. She was right. She is right I did use the headset and the phone charger as anyone would who buys a phone. Now I realize that a new phone in that store could be a phone that someone used for two weeks. When I went into the store Ofelia did a 360 in her attitude and her manager was backing her up not the customer. Save yourself money and grief and drive the extra mile and buy directly from Apple. Sprint offered me 300.00 to come back and replaced my iPhone 6 which is what landed me in the Verizon store. Never again. I will stick with Sprint their customer service is superior. Hopefully American Express will come through. Another tip is to make sure you buy your phone outright don't fall for any of their scams to lease phones. I have an unlocked phone and no contract with Sprint. Be a smart consumer!! I hope this is helpful. read more

Customer service horrible. It is my home town Verizon store, been there twice, once to buy a phone, second time two years later to get a new phone updated. Both times the service was awfull. Last time the guy running the store would open during his business hours because he was doing inventory. Then he ranted a me for buy a phone at Costco and wanting help from him in updating it. I am very disappointed in my experience yesterday. Upon walking into an empty store I was told he had to finish filling out his forms, strange greeting, but not a big deal..yet. I had purchased the phone at this store and it had started glitching and an unknown screen had popped up, preventing me from being able to use the phone at all. I was hoping he could help. When he got around to me he messed with the phone for about a minute and then said "I don't have the patience for this"! The comment surprised me. He continued to try and push me to buy a new phone because "I must have broken the phone", after I had repeatedly told him that I couldn't afford a new one. I wasn't asking for attitude, I just wanted someone who I thought was more informed then I to look at my phone. Another guy from the back shows up and changes the settings, fixing the problem, in under a minute. I was very grateful for his help, but will never be back because of this experience. read more

Manager is rude and condescending-completely uninterested in the needs of the customer and probably the most passive aggressive sales person I've encountered. I've been a Verizon customer since the dawn of time and have spent good money and time purchasing phones and data packages over the years for my family. I was treated like I was a complete moron-and the more I asked for him to explain what wasn't making sense and contradicted what Verizon had told me, the more rude he became and insulting not only toward me but also toward the company he represents. This store is not Closed but maybe it should be or at lease Mariah gone !! The customer service is awful if you want the real people behind you go to Burlington! as I read the reviews all I can do is knot my head. What they both say is so true. Here is our interact with Mariah On. Wed the 24th my daughter and I went in to see about her phone not keeping a charge. Mariah was with a customer and there where 2 gentlemen one that was with a customer and a trainee. There were a told of 6 people waiting including us. The trainee explained he was new and couldn't help us yet .During that entire time, the other man and Mariah never once acknowledge us whatsoever. Mariah was yelling orders to the trainee in how to take money from a customer (very professional) Then 2 times she took personal phone calls, walking away from the customer that she has been with for the last 20mins while we where there, (very professional again) also commenting to the customer that she really had to be out of here soon. Finally after the 5 other people and an hour later so did we. June 26, 2015 we returned and spoke with Mariah about this phone that her x- employee bought through Amazon and sold it for why she is an x-employee. She say all she could do is sent it back to Amazon and they would reimburse the x-employee and she would have to get it to us. I say that's fine, we just have to do that since the phone can't hold a charge. She took all the paper work and box that it came in, we took the phone to take off what information we could and we will see her on Monday. Everything was fine. June 29, 2015 we returned and went to Mariah to hand in the phone, that's when she threw her hands up and said " I can't do anything with that phone, I've done all I can" Well you can imagine what happened next. I explained to her what she had told us and that she has the box and all the info. She told us she did not have or take the box... That's when her co worker spoke up and told her it was in the backroom. Well that just made her angrier, she was rude, loud ,unprofessional. It seem to be a pattern with Mariah as I read the other reviews. I will never step into that Verizon Retailer again and I think who ever hired her should fine a new manager with professionalism, and one that does not lie and will back up there word. read more

Terrible experience both times we went in. First time was a Saturday and with only one employee in the store, wasn't a surprise there were 3 customers waiting, not employees fault. But we left. Second time went in and there were more employees but I got the one that must have been having a bad day, very loud and dramatic. Made us feel like we were doing something wrong. We have 5 phone lines and have been with Verizon Wireless for 20 years. Very let down. Employees desperately need training in several areas including customer service.
