Firstly, their service is terrible - contact them with a problem and they won't get back to you (even though they promise that they will when you are in the store buying your phone). Secondly, they try to sell you a bunch of things which you don't need at highly inflated prices, and I'm ashamed to say I fell for a few of their offers. For example, the case they sold me was 3 times cheaper on Amazon, plus, it was a piece of crap and gradually fell apart over the course of a few months. Thirdly and finally, I also signed up for the phone replacement insurance, which was actually a good call as I dropped later my phone in water. However, buying my insurance from them was not a good call because the replacement phone they gave me is a piece of crap - the transmission is so bad that either I keep cutting out or the person with whom I am talking does. They said the replacement phone was given to them by Verizon but I quite frankly wouldn't be surprised if they had a hand in it. Needless to say they refuse to fix it. I'm writing this post 1.5 years after buying my phone from them, after yet another frustrating attempt at making a phone call. I ended up having to make the call from my gmail account. That about sums it up: you're better off using gmail as your phone than buying one from these clowns.

They walk around like some king on a throne. I had purchased the phone online to be picked up in store, seems simple enough. The concierge met us at the door and asked if we had an appointment and I had. She then handed us to another sales associate who went and got the new phone. She asked if we wanted them to transfer the data from the phone we were trading to the new phone? Thinking it would be best to have everything taken care of on one stop I agreed to pay the $29. We were transferred to a different even more arrogant "A" who asked for a photo ID so they could except the traded phone and transfer the data. I showed it to them. After standing there for about 45 minutes thinking we would be finished soon they said, "this is going to take three hours". Maybe could have led with that in the beginning. We agreed to come back later and pick up the phone. When we returned, they seemed oblivious to the fact we were trading a phone in. They said they needed a photo ID to do that. I did not have it with me because I was only going to pick up the phone, right. So we took both phones and brought the trade in back the next morning. So yes, that worked well, three trips to the store. Don't do business with these people unless you want a challenge.

While I'm not a T-Mobile fan boy and haven't really been impressed by their customer services as a whole... I had a five star experience yesterday with a young gentleman names Paul at this location. I was in for a warranty replacement and was genuinely impressed with this young man's demeanor and the care he took for the customer service he provided. I've worked in IT support for 25+ years and I'm probably not the typical knowledge level of a customer he runs into day to day and minute to minute, but he quickly adapted from breaking down the basics to matching me at my more elevated level. I think this is a often overlooked skill when it comes to customer service. The abiliity to read a person and adapt to match them at the level of support they need. Too often support will talk over a persons head or infuriate you because you feel like you are being talked to like you are in elementary school... Within minutes Paul and I had just clicked. In full transparency prior to meeting Paul my experience with T-Mobile hadn't been great. Two or three calls with T-Mobile and a back and forth with Assurant who manages the insurance for T-Mobile now... It wasn't great. But Paul was the shining light at the end of a long dark tunnel and he deserves to be recognized as such.

In the off chance you have the opportunity to speak with one of the very friendly female employees, you will have a good experience. The younger "gentleman" that has worked there for years, makes it apparent that he has much better things to do than to help you. He could use a tip from some of the gals that work there. They seem to have a nice selection of phones and some accessories. However, you would be much better off ordering your phone accessories online as they will be quite a bit cheaper.
