When I took the issue to the corporate store, they confirmed that there was an error and told me that Brandon would need to fix it. After waiting a few weeks to calm down, I returned to the store with Brandon and explained the issue again. I asked for him to fix the problem and provide credits to my account since we were paying for a service that wasn't functioning.I kept the conversation brief with Brandon. surprisingly handed me his personal phone to talk to a representative on the phone. Which was unprofessional due to his notifications being displayed for me to see. During the call, I expressed my concerns and issues to the representative, who then put me on hold. Brandon became confrontational and raised his voice at me, despite me remaining calm. When I asked him to stop raising his voice and provide proof of the changes he made, he continued to deflect my questions and eventually admitted that he didn't submit the change and there was no change to our account. The experience was unprofessional and unacceptable, and I would not recommend this office or Brandon for assistance.

When I called a few days later after receiving a notice from Asurion, Chris was not there. I spoke to a female employee who said she could not explain what happened since she was not my salesperson, but said I should be happy that I got the phone for "free" with a trade-in and essentially scolded me for not getting the insurance. As I continued talking about the situation, she hung up on me. She was defensive, condescending, and not at all interested in helping me understand or rectify the situation. Also, while I was there getting my new phone, another customer came in to return his old phones that he wanted to trade in but did not have when he purchased his new phones. Chris asked with whom he had worked and then said his salesperson had just gone to the back of the store and he would let him know. Chris came out and said he had told him. The customer waited for at least 15 minutes, got tired of waiting and left with his phones. His salesman came out a while later and asked where the customer was. When he was told he had left, he just shrugged his shoulders and indicated it was not his problem. I suppose he was on break but a professional would interrupt his break to help their customer. Also, I do not understand why Chris or someone else could not have accepted the trade-in since they can access any account. The poor customer now has to make another trip. This pretty much summarizes the attitude of the individuals working the store. They do not care about the customer. I warned my wife about shopping at third party phone stores. She understands now. Justin S. at the Plainwell store said "$160 with your trade in and no changes to your plan". Not the case at all. 1st few months my bill went up $99. I would call or text Justin about the billing error and he would say "oh VZ just hasn't caught up with your new trade in promotion, I'll issued a credit". He did issued a credit but it wasn't the correct amount. this happened every month until Jason stopped responding. I reached out to Verizon corporate office and got no where except when a 3rd party customer service rep (that spoke very little English) called me to tell me she she would take care of everything but never did anything. I asked for several months for my signed agreement and didn't it until the 5th letter I wrote. here's a shocker, I was not my signature on the agreement. I write Verizon a dispute letter every monthly billing because its incorrect every month. I even wrote directly to Amanda at The Wireless Zone main office and didn't get any response. I recently traveled to Ireland, Spain, and France and got screwed on the VZ international $12.00 per day plan. Disputed the charges because there were many days I didn't user any data. Verizon doesn't care. its one of their many "gotcha" moments Do not use The Wireless Zone stores and certainly dont sign up with Verizon. Plenty other companies out there like T Mobile, Pure Talk and Consumer Cellular.
