MEC crews installed a fiber utility box on my property in Coloma without any prior notice,…read morepermission, or communication of any kind. The installation caused visible property damage: a bare dirt patch approximately 4 feet by 6 feet where grass has been destroyed, and a pile of displaced soil left on-site. This damage is located in the front of my home, directly visible from the street and my front window. I contacted MEC the same day to request: (1) a written restoration plan, (2) a timeline for repairs, (3) identification of the responsible party, and (4) a direct contact for follow-up. The representative acknowledged the damage and promised that a supervisor or she would follow up with information within two days. As of this review, I have not received written confirmation, a restoration plan, or any timeline.
