After leaving the ATT store in Kalamazoo with no help from the workers there, I came to this location. The manager Phil was so knowledgeable and helpful! he got me in and out and fixed my problem with my phone turn in within 3 minutes, the other store told me they couldn't do it at all. Our installation went wonderfully -- we really appreciated the installer going out of his way to make sure lines were tucked around doorframes so we wouldn't trip over them. Our service was spotty, though, and super slow. When we did decide to switch to another provider, we got a bill for $167.00 after we were no longer customers and our previous bill had been paid in full. Their online system to view your bill will NEVER load -- circle of death every time. So after spending an hour trying to get this page to load I finally end up on a chat with someone for whom English is clearly not their first language. I'm told this charge is for non-returning of equipment we did return and which they sent us a receipt saying they had received a month ago. This happens EVERY SINGLE TIME we deal with telecom companies. It's fraud, it's criminal, and I'm so fed up with it. And there's pretty much no recourse for it. Grrrrrr! read more

Roughly 10 years ago (2008) I went into this AT&T store (across the street from its current location at the time) to see if switching from Nextel Blackberry's to AT&T iPhone's was feasible for my wife and I. Due to location of our house the service was borderline according to their coverage map. The manager of the store stated that they could not lend me an iPhone to test, and just to purchase one. If I was unsatisfied I could refund it. I responded I didn't need an iPhone in particular to test the service and that I just needed any phone on the AT&T system to see if it worked at our house. It'll take me less than 30 min to drive home, test it and then return. I added that if I were to purchase the iPhone and had to return it due to poor signal strength as she suggested, that there would be a 10% (maybe 15%) restocking fee. She agreed and said how do we know that you aren't just going to take off with our phone? I suggested that I could leave a credit card and a copy of my drivers license. (She was a manager and couldn't come up with that?) She agreed and I ended up purchasing 2 iPhone's. Fast forward to Nov 2018, we purchased 2 iPhone Xs Max phones. Later that evening I noticed that I could not change the ringer volume on my wife's phone. I called the number on the salesman's card and left a message. Ten days later and still no return call. I decided to call them up and a man answers "Hello, AT&T." I waited as there's usually a follow through like: "this is {John, George, Ringo, Paul, or whoever} - how can I help you today?" Not an additional word, just an awkward silence. I asked for my salesman and he stated he was with a customer. Once again dead silence. There was no "I'm sorry, he's busy with a customer at the moment, is there something I can help you with or can I get you number and have him call you back?" Don't these people go through any customer service training? Once I get this problem figured out, I will not return to this location. I've had much better luck at the Drake Rd store. read more

Went to replace my phone today, the last phone was broken, a new one was needed. I wanted the new iPhone with the upgraded portrait setting in the camera. I asked, 'this is the one with the portrait setting on the camera? The new portrait setting?' The salesman (who's name I have deleted, because it is not his fault he is poorly trained by management) told me I was getting the newest iPhone, 'yeah this one has that setting on the camera... it's the newest one..' And the only reason I paid for this phone is because of him telling me I was getting the iPhone with the portrait setting. The phone does not have the portrait setting. If the rational of making a purchase is to get upgraded features, and when you see the product is only standard, how would you feel? read more

Well the 5yr old Samsung S7 Edge couldn't take anymore abuse and neglect at my hand so I decided to get new phone. I was promptly assigned an associate, Paul P. who listened to my issues and helped me pick a phone that meets all my needs while spending less than I planned on. The switch over was not going well mostly due to the old phones issues and my lack of proper passwords. Paul stuck with it and I walked out the door with everything working. The reason now though for this particular revue is that up until this morning everything was fine then an issue popped up that I couldn't resolve even though I suspected what the problem was. Back to the store and was glad to see Paul there. Told him what the problem was and he agreed that the issue was the old sim-card might be failing and suggested replacing it if I wanted. Deal was done all in all in less than half hour! This is my third phone with at&t thru no fault of theirs. This is my go to store and Paul P. is tops in my book! read more

The door greeter made me feel dumb because I did not realize that I needed an appointment to get a phone. Then when we did return, the sales guy was quasi helpful but obviously disappointed that we were simply there for Go Phones and not the big plans. He tried to change our minds, but that wasn't happening. In the end, we got 1/2 the service as most and left sitting there wondering if he was done with us or not. But I do love the phone and cell service area. Just the people are not top notch. read more

AT&T has to be the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. If you are considering getting your internet though them don't bother, they likely won't show up. And then when you try and reschedule they'll say they can get to you in 2 weeks. I have tried talking to three different people in person and on the phone and no one is willing or able to do anything. Apparently managers simply don't exist. I asked if I could install it myself, or if they would at least wave the ludicrous installation fee seeing as I took the day of work to wait for nothing, and they said there is nothing they can do. I know for damn sure I'm canceling my phone service with them as soon as I calm down enough to call them again and I'll definitely be going elsewhere for internet. read more

Need to replace my phone. Did my online research & decided what I want. Decided to look at Best Buy Mobile store & AT&T to actually see phone and make sure its in stock before my scheduled appt here tomorrow. 1st time in new location. Took forever to have someone acknowledge me. When asked if I needed to be put in queue I said I just wanted to know if a particular phone was in stock. Told I would need to wait to find out. Said I would go home & call. Apparently tho the phone store only answers their phone if someone is available. Can't seem to get stock availability online either. All completely absurd!! The worst customer service EVER! Last time I went in, I waited an hour and a half for a problem with my phone, got hone and the problem wasn't fixed, so I went back and they recognized me as soon as I walked back in, but they still made me wait ANOTHER hour and a half! This time, I walked in with a simple question about our account, they brought up my account on their iPad - the account was right there, but then they said someone would help me and there were 2 ahead of us. Walked out after waiting a half hour - they already had my account up, all they had to do was look at the account and answer our question! Will be looking for another carrier. No reason to have to wait that long just to have a question answered about an account. read more

Bought my iPhone 5s here and couldn't be happier. Sales associate was very helpful and answers my questions about my new phone and we didn't have to wait more than a minute. Service with AT&T rocks! I used to have sprint and they sucked but AT&T is much better!! read more

This the worst store ever and with the least trained people! They set up my directvnow and completely made a mess of and will not fix the fact that it is charging my account twice every month since June. I have canceled it online but I still get charged. I canceled by calling in and still get charged. I have gone in the store now 3 times and still get charged. I was assured it was canceled and I cannot access it to watch it but I got charged again this month. I printed off every charge showing I was charged and very person who started this mess tells me it can be canceled easily online like I am stupid. It is canceled but he would not shut up to listen to me and even when I showed him my copies, said it's not canceled and he can cancel his online by pushing a button. I have no recourse but to cancel my bank account and my charge card and report AT&T for fraud bc they continue to charge my account for something I have canceled and do not have access to!! I was going to add an iwatch to my account today but now I will change my phone account to Verizon. I pay $380 per month for my account and they will lose my business for complete incompetence and rude on top of that at this store!!!! DO NOT GO In this store ever and DO NOT get directvnow it's not worth the money, headache, channels, etc. it is not easy to cancel bc you will get an error message and the system will hit your account for another month while you are trying to cancel it. Go with Hulu or an other stream account. This is a class action in the works!! I have evidence!! By the other reviews this is obviously business as usual behavior to be rude and not helpful!
