I'm extremely disappointed with the customer service at this Verizon store…read more I intentionally set things up so my elderly, disabled mother could return her trade-in phone in person at a Verizon store rather than via UPS, because I wanted staff to properly assist her and ensure the return was done correctly (including turning off Find My iPhone). The entire point was to make this easier and safer for her. Instead, the staff were rude and unhelpful and insisted that I had to be physically present, even though I live several states away due to military service. I am the account manager. I contacted Verizon Corporate directly, and they confirmed the store should have been able to help her and that there are multiple ways to verify me over the phone. Corporate even placed a note on the account explicitly authorizing her to return the phone. Despite this, the store refused to access the account or even look at the corporate note, continued to insist I had to be there in person, and refused to use any alternative verification methods. When I asked for the name of the employee I was speaking with, they said "Logan," refused to provide a last name, and then hung up on me. After multiple trips to the store for my mom and over an hour on the phone, Verizon Corporate ultimately had to switch the return to a UPS drop-off with a QR code. It's honestly wild that my attempt to get better customer service by going directly to a Verizon store resulted in more stress, more trips, and far more time wasted--especially given my mom's age, disability, and the fact that I'm serving out of state. This store showed zero flexibility, empathy, or willingness to help, even when Corporate Verizon told them they could. I would not recommend this location, particularly if you're trying to help an elderly or disabled family member.

Hi! My mom and I went into the new location for this store and were immediately greeted with a…read moresmile and a "How can I help you?" The new store was very clean, put together and the employees were very helpful. I needed to get my phone upgraded as mine was very old and had questions about the new phone, the prices and just questions in general as one does when upgrading a phone. Judge was our helper in the store that day and we highly recommend asking for him when you stop into this store. He was not pushy and we could tell he was simply looking out for the best for us. He helped us upgrade our line to save money monthly, he was knowledgeable on every question we asked and even walked us through setting up auto-pay on a billing cycle that we wanted that we didn't know was an option. Let's just say it was a great experience and if you are looking for a Verizon store on Woodruff or in Greenville, we recommend this location and asking for Judge to help you. He will walk you through colors, find the best deal for you and be honest, something everyone needs. We will definitely be coming back to this store when needed.

And once I said to a newer iphone like the 17 again cut off with an attitude saying that they have to be order. Then I asked if it's just this store they don't have it or all the store and he said "I don't know, you will have to go look for it and go online and look for it yourself" again just being rude and with a attitude. This store has yet to become better for the past 3 years.

I recently went to the Verizon Store in Grovetown, ga to replace phones for my wife and I. As the…read morepurchase was started the it was discovered the wife and I were under a senior plan we're 65 & 75. For some reason we couldn't have that plan and had to go to a higher plan, I also wanted this phone to do everything the other plan did and the same with the phone. We departed he store drove to Washington, Ga our home. I attempted to utilize my hotspot nothing, I called Verizon c service because I didn't know my super secret code they "wouldn't " help me I understand the security aspect, I wanted to know why a newly purchased phone that was supposed to work like the last one doesn't. The next day I drove 15 miles to the next town a a Verizon store. Much to my dismay I'm told if I want a hotspot on my phone I'll have to pay extra. Justin M was my sales person he was a nice person but, I realize Verizon in in the business to make the most amount of money per person but at least tell the truth.

The Cellular Sales Verizon franchisee location at 5008 Steiner Way Grovetown, GA 30813 has on…read moreseveral occasions provided exceptionally poor service to my family due to either poor training, poor communication skills, or less than forthright business practices. The most recent event involved a 4G hotspot which we were assured we would have a 45-day period in which to return the device with a full refund of purchase and service if it didn't suit our needs. Upon return of the device, the purchase price was credited but the service continued, and the activation fee remained. Upon readdressing the issue with the franchisee location, they purportedly approached Verizon, and were unable to prorate the service cost or credit the activation. My contact with the Verizon chat assistant resulted in the removal of the activation charge, but not the proration or removal of the service charge. Better, but still not what was discussed. I recently checked the remaining purchase balance on our phone. We were led to believe that we would receive a larger trade in credit for our old phones, more than the $20 we were credited. I could've scrapped or privately sold the phones for more than that. It was indicated at the time of sale that, due to the terms of the promotion, we could not pay off our phones at the time of purchase and would need to wait 45 days for the promotion to apply. Due to this, I lost track of the task and just recently discovered the variance between what I expected and the amount of the credit applied. It is also entirely possible that the communication model muddled the terms of the sale to the point where several different options, having been discussed previously, were not clearly dismissed prior to writing the deal. We experienced less serious, but none-the-less irksome issues on our last equipment transaction with this location. I don't recall the details, but I do recall the pique it caused me, and the fact the team member spent more time concerned with their own phones. We were not a priority, to say the least. Whatever the cause of these interactions, this is likely the last contract period our family will be using Verizon's services due to the company's association with this franchisee. I understand this is an insignificant loss of a few hundred dollars a month for your company, but I assure you my few hundred dollars is important to me and certainly appears to be better spent elsewhere.
