If there is a store manager- please train your employees. Train them not to lie or give out different numbers every time someone comes in with a question about their bill. Train them to be clear about terms and conditions of the contracts they have your customers sign. Train them to understand what they are doing, how they are doing it and why they are doing it. Train them to be professional. Because your store is lacking honesty, knowledge and transparency. I made a mistake by visiting your store to get some info on my plan. I was pulled into a contract which is my fault I signed without reading. My fault I trusted the verbal promises of your employees. But hey? They mislead my 84 year old father-in-law. terrible Business practices, was lied to - they are not upfront about what your monthly costs are going to be and lied to me about what the contract was when purchasing a new phone. It's been 2 months and I'm still not being given my discount despite going to the store several times and calling verizon. I wish I never got a new phone from them and will be switching as soon as possible. extremely dishonest. Do not go to the franchise store go to the company store in Seekonk, MA. Do not go here. They added charges to my bill that I had clearly said no to. I had a charge for Netflix and I had clearly declined to have that added to my account. My bill ended up being 65 dollars over the price they had printed out for me. I was also there for hours. read more

This store has pretty limited stock, but the people here are really nice and go out of their way to make sure that you have exactly what you need. I came here after having a bad experience at another Verizon retailer, and they were easily able to remedy the situation and upgrade me to a new phone. Not only that, but the salesman set it up for me and made sure that everything was in working order before we paid. They also didn't super pressure me to buy insurance or accessories or anything that I didn't need. They asked nicely, but that was it. The store is not super big, but the service is very friendly and personal. I will go out of my way to come back here if I ever need help from Verizon again. read more

This review concerns the Verizon Wireless store on Metacom Avenue in Bristol, RI 02809 (a Verizon authorized reseller) Back in September 2021, my iPhone SE suddenly stopped working; conveniently the same week the IPhone 13 was released. My entire life and business are based off of my phone, so given the option of waiting for a replacement to be shipped or walking out of the store with a brand new phone, I reluctantly took the new phone. I knew they were going to get me by extending my contract for another 2 years, but I was prepared to pay the price. What a mistake I was told that my bill wouldn't change/go up besides a surcharge the first month; in fact, I declined additional features precisely for this reason. The employee I primarily worked with was actually very nice and understanding, I wish I caught his name, because he was very helpful. However, the manager skipped out to get coffee or something, and the other employee I worked with definitely rubbed me the wrong way. He (employee 2) couldn't seem to wrap his head around why I was upset my phone broke the SAME week as the new model was released; given Apple's history of forced product obsolescence Anyways, fast forward to January 2022. I get a notification from my auto-pay reminder that my bill will be paid in a few days. I notice that the amount has gone up; and given that we are 3+ months past my "upgrade", I thought there must be a mistake. I thought it might be easier to go back to the store to see what's going on, given they were the ones who sold me the phone & plan, and assured me my bill would not increase I managed to get the same nice employee that helped me the first time, and we looked over my charges. When he couldn't find the reason why, the manager came over. Basically, he tried to feed me some BS; completely ignoring the fact that my bill HAD gone up from what it was before I upgraded, to my new bill. The way I see it, when they told me that my bill wouldn't go up, and I agreed to purchase a new phone & plan on that basis, a verbal contract was made. The manager seems to think he's not responsible, and after accusing me of being hostile (its called being upset because someone lied to your face repeatedly and stole your money, and now your upset because I didn't accept your BS excuse), I walked out. I went into this situation knowing very well that they were probably going to tell me there's nothing they could do about it and to suck it up; but I wanted to give them one last chance anyways for the sake of my own soul. I told them this when I walked in, AND when I walked out The way I see it, now I'm paying another $10ish dollars a month to ride Verizon like a pony going forward; and man is it worth it. For the rest of my days, I'm going to bleed Verizon corporate (you authorized this fool, the extra charges are the principle and I charge interest); and I'm going to do my best to get the truth out there on as many review boards for the physical store as possible. Everything I'm telling you is personal experience. I am a business owner, I work incredibly hard to give people a product, and I never cheat them. This store, maybe even this entire industry, is based on a con. I have been to this store three times and have left shaking my head each time. The first time there were 2 employees working and the store manager. Both employees were busy with customers as the store manager sat on a computer. I browsed the phones for a few minutes and stood by the phones that I had questions about. After approximately 10 minutes of being the only other customer in the store that had yet to receive even a "hello" I left with unanswered questions. The second and third times I walked in for help setting up my new device. The manager fixed the issue that I had and quickly rushed me out of the store. When I returned a few moments later with an issue regarding transferring data from one device to another he did not appear to care or want to help me due to the fact that he knew the interaction would not end in a sale. Disappointing service. The gentleman who did help was very pleasant. The store needs better staffing and a friendlier and more helpful atmosphere. read more

The Wireless Zone in Portsmouth has the most dishonest salespeople I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. After telling several lies to get me to purchase the plan, he does not let me take the contract into my own hands. It was just "initial this" and sign here and like a fool I did. You can always cancel your service with 2 weeks to get a full refund, he said. Not exactly true, they have a $50 restocking fee when I brought it back the very next day. To add insult, I got a bill from Verizon for $25. I made 1 call to see what the number was and did not use any data, but somehow got billed for extra data and 3 or 4 days of service. 45 minutes on the phone with billing before I finally lost patience and sadly will have to pay their bill so I do not ruin my credit. Never visit this location, go to best buy or RadioShack instead. These people tossed part of my packaging when I purchased a new phone. When I went to fill out the rebate form (for $100) I noticed the upc was missing. I called and they told me to come in. When I did they said they will refund me the $100 if they can't find the sleeve with the upc on it. Latter in the day the sales person that sold me the phone called me and virtually told me to f' off. I called Verizon corporate and they told me to return it at the store. The store then refused the return because of the missing sleeve. All in all Verizon customer service took care of it , but it was a long and painful experience... Save yourself the time and effort and go some where else! read more

Go to this Verizon location and ask for Michael! He was amazing and beyond helpful, not to mention friendly and knowledgeable! I highly recommend this location and Verizon.
