I had a terrific experience at the Great Barrington Verizon store with Katie the phone lady this past Saturday! I will never go back to my NJ Verizon store as long as I can get to see Katie at this one. She was extremely helpful in all of the ways you dream about from a customer service representative. With regard to my device questions and issues, and my Verizon plan she was knowledgeable, attentive, capable, thorough yet efficient, efficient yet relaxed, straight forward and honest, went above and beyond in very useful ways by asking appropriate questions, understanding my concerns, and solving them. This location should be investigated I went there strictly to pick up my phone that I had paid for online they proceeded to cancel my transaction claiming their system can't process online orders and instead no money being exchanged because I paid online I now owed almost $300!!! I had the receipt for the $35 fee I paid online attempt 1 to rob me they then tried to tell me that I also owed $1300 for my iPhone 12 the phone I was upgrading from that was completely paid off a year ago attempt 2 they then tried to tell me the official installment that was on my Verizon acckjnf was wrong and tried to tell me I'd be paying double that monthly the last thing they tried to do was tell they could get me $850 for my phone that I already knew the trade in value for because it was part of the order I had already completed they failed to mention that in order to get that deal they were going to be changing my plan without telling me these people need to be investigated atleast looked into for a company like Verizon to allow this to happen is ridiculous I felt like I was dealing with a back ally dealer with stolen phones they are con artists lucky for me they're not very smart and didn'r know how to answer simple questions and became very confused when their standard script for the con didn't work I had to speak to fraud dept after leaving because my account had been flagged because of their attempted actions read more

We just had an extremely pleasant customer service experience with Brienna at the GB Verizon store. She was very knowledgeable and transparent with everything. UPDATE: They switched my wife's phone for a 64gb w/ no charge. My wife ordered a Rosegold iPhone SE 64gb from them 10 days ago. She went in to pick it up and they said that someone screwed up the order but they had the same exact phone in a different color and they would give her a free case for the trouble. The problem was when we got home we realized it was NOT the same phone. They gave her a 16GB instead of the 64GB for the same price she was quoted for originally. read more

You need to get your wireless products here. They make Verizon suck less. I've been a Verizon customer for over a decade. Great network, lousy company. Getting a new phone or plan is always a time-consuming ordeal. This time around, I had some tricky changes I needed to make to my plan, and I also wanted to get an iPhone 5 before I headed off to Europe for a month. The guy I dealt with at Wireless Zone was Trevor. I watched him wrestle with the computer system and make multiple calls to the company to navigate his way through the system. He was a bulldog. When the system didn't let him do what I needed to do, he called. When the person on the other end of the line couldn't help, he called somebody else. Meanwhile, he helped me make sense of the various extended warranty options and showed me the plan that costs less and works better. He was great. The other guys in the store were helpful too. Of course, Verizon screwed up anyway. The order for the phone didn't go through, but the system didn't tell us that. So I found out two weeks before my trip that the order failed and they wanted me to go through the same process over again, after which my phone would arrive a week after my departure. Normally, I would have gone ballistic, but this time I didn't have to. Trevor went ballistic on my behalf. He promised me he would make this work for me. He told me to go home and he would call me when he had a resolution. I got a call from him the next day saying he was on the case and I shouldn't worry. At the end of the week, I got a call saying he had my iPhone for me. I also got a hand-written thank-you note from him, along with a gift card. Verizon inherently sucks, and there's only so much a retail shop can do to overcome that for you. But these guys are as good as it gets. They will get all of my business in the future. Terrible experience here. A store employee made a mistake and bought out the wrong phone on my plan and I ended up buying out two phones with the understanding and a letter that they would reimburse me for the $810 mistake they made. Two months later and the phone has not been reimbursed. I've spent hours on the phone with Verizon and them. I left my last phone call two weeks ago and they never even called back. I am beyond frustrated and will now be posting my experience everywhere possible so people are aware of the terrible customer service. read more

Awful experience. Went in with my teenage daughter to upgrade her iPhone and were treated like we were a nuisance by the sale clerk, Brian. He proceeded to treat us in a condescending and dismissive manner as we inquired about which new phone to purchase . He made it clear he thought we were clueless and outright stupid. I've never encountered such a rude sales person! Would not have purchased anything if my daughter's five+ year old iPhone had not completely stopped working. So we paid $700 for a new phone and a $48 for 'activation' fee although Brian told us to 'figure it out' and back it up ourselves. What??! Brian, I'm sorry you hate your job so much. This 5-star rating is mainly for Eric who works here! ^_^ He was a great guy who helped me out a lot for a super long time. I had a lot of problems with getting verified for my Verizon account (my mother owns it; I wasn't listed as an authorized user on it), so I had to go through a bunch of hoops to get that done. Lots of texting and phone calls, and blah, blah, blah. It took quite a while for me to get everything sorted out, but Eric was patient and friendly the whole time, even still working with me after closing time because things were taking that long. Anyway, once things were set up, everything went smoothly and quickly. =) I got my new phone and everything set up easily, and I am beyond happy with it. ^-^ I know other reviews on here are a bit sour, and other family members I've had go to the store haven't always had the smoothest experience, but no matter what, I personally had a good experience where I was well-treated and tended to. :) read more

The store manager, Brandon was very helpful and assisted my return to Verizon, and even how to save money on my plan. Went in to Great Barrington Verizon store to get assistance with my phone and Brian, the rep there on 2/18/2020 aprx. at noon, was so disinterested and unhelpful it was maddening. He didn't listen to my questions and acted like I was interrupting his "personal time." A 2 year old would have shown more interest and customer service than he did. ""Premium Retailer" means that a store is not Verizon and the buyer should beware." - this is a quote from a telephone customer service representative, Verizon Wireless. I was in shock. You see them all over Berkshire county, Wireless Zone Premium Retailer of Verizon Wireless. Most people in South County just refer to them as the Verizon Store. This is a story about how I got taken by just this store. The story is true, not meant to be inflammatory, and I hope it gets published so others can learn from my mistake. As that phone representative said, "Buyer Beware". I purchased a phone in the Great Barrington store. It was late and past closing so I didn't get to review all the details. The associate was rushing me out the door. I asked him," What if I change my mind...", he said no problem you have 14 days. 4 days after my purchase I returned to the store with original bag, box intact, and my receipt in hand for a refund. The associate takes my phone wipes in down, and inspects it, He finds a scratch so small, it took me three blinks to see it. "No refund" He told me, "You own the phone now." I responded, "That could have always been there, you could have made that happen when you just wiped it down." He retorted, NO RETURN. I was in shock, where was customer service? Being tossed from the store like a criminal I called Wireless Zone Corporation. They referred me to a Vice President then to a Regional Director, neither had any power because this was a franchise store. So the Verizon store is really a franchise of a dealer of Verizon Wireless. Finally I got to talk to an owner who just told me, "No refunds". This can't be, how could Verizon Wireless let this happen in their name. I called customer care. Their response was, they are an independant dealer and don't need to follow Verizon Wireless Guidelines. I asked how was I supposed to know there was a difference between stores. The representative said they have, "Premium Retailer" on their sign, and I quote ""Premium Retailer" means that a store is not Verizon and the buyer should beware." and I am out $650. Had a small emergency and needed a new phone while I was in town. The service provided by both Trevor and Josh was above and beyond expectation.
