About 90 minutes after my service window, they 'cancelled' my service. We managed to get them to reopen the service, and got it listed as an emergency (phone has been out for a week, customer is blind and has Parkinson's). 4 more hours of no word and no show. Even an hour after their new 'window' passed, I haven't heard another word. They have no physical presence anywhere, so there's no one in this country that you can talk / complain to. They also have a monopoly, they are the only service available. Or, would be available if the service worked. If you have ANY other option, you'll be better off than with Century Link.

Reception was spotty iften going out or freezing up multiple times a week. The customer service rep stated we can still watch the dvr but when the uniit goes out so does the recordings. When we put in to cancel the service we were told they would send us a return box. It never showed. I called back and was told that the box would be sent up to 20 days after service was canceled and I would have to pack it up with our stuff as we are moving out of state. Then call with the new address. If they do not get it on time they may charge us fees. This is in my opinion a dying company do not use them
