I have no freaking clue and no valid reason not to use a repair center like this place. Maybe I'm conditioned to take my products only to apple and let them suck every last dollar out of my bank account for repairs. Bravo to apple for making me think only they can fix my products but I'm no longer fooled by that marketing tactic. Thankfully I decided to trust that someone has the ability to repair my apple products other than apple. I took my iPhone XS Max in for some major repairs; front, back and battery. Alfredo was up front about costs and turnaround times. I was explained my options and dangers of trying to save a quick buck in the long run. I trusted the Jedi Masters recommendations and my trust was not ill placed. My phone was masterfully repaired and warranties explained clearly. I'm super grateful to have come across this business and will most certainly call again if I need any electronic repairs. I didn't realize they even do video game consoles so next time I get freaking controller drift I'll call to see if they can fix that type of annoyance that seems to plague new gen console controllers. Came in to replace the battery on my Samsung phone because it was three years old. They gave me a…read moregood price for the replacement battery and had the phone back to me the next day. However, from the beginning the new battery did not appear to lasting any longer than the old battery. After a few weeks, it got much worse - although the battery did not go down too quickly at first, it would suddenly die (charge going to zero, phone shutting off) anytime after the phone showed about a 60% charge left. I went back to the store to see what they could do - it was about 5 weeks after I bought the battery. Because the initial charge drop didn't appear to be too abnormal, the counter person tried to convince me that the battery was operating within normal parameters, which it clearly was not. He did not check the phone app that tracks power usage. Also told me that they would not guarantee their work after one month. I took the phone to Staples to replace the battery again. The technician there said that the battery installed by I Fix Your Cell, was in very bad shape - it could have blown up the phone. The replacement battery from Staples has made clear that the I Fix battery was significantly substandard from the start - the Staples battery is lasting 2-3 times longer than the I Fix battery did. Considering how poorly the I Fix battery performed, I went back to I Fix to see if they would refund any part of what I paid for it. They wouldn't but did offer an apology. Based on my own transaction, I would rate them one star. The extra star is because when my son's phone had a significant problem, they sent it to their Paterson store and they were able to fix it and retain the stored data on the phone which was at risk.
