They take advantage of folks with less than up to date tech knowledge. They are not a positive force in the community. I do believe it's the Bible that's says love thy neighbor. My experience started out positive. I had a cracked screen on my computer laptop and took it to…read morethem for repairs. They told me that I saved a lot by going to them and not the 'big box' store. They ordered me a new digitizer and I paid them $107.11 (Part plus tax). They said that it would be shipped to them in a week or so. I finally stopped in about 3 weeks later and left my laptop to get fixed. I stopped back a couple of hours later and they told me that the screen that was shipped was cracked. They would have to order a new one. I told them that I would pay the labor charge now, so that once the screen was fixed, I would just pick it up. The labor charge was $81.00. I then waited a few more weeks and stopped there again. They said the screen was in and to give them a few hours to put it in. I returned a few hours later and they said they had the wrong screen. I told them to go ahead and order a new one. Long story short, this went on for several months with no resolve. I then asked for my money back on the screen and Tim agreed and kept saying he would credit my credit card. It still did not happen 6 months later. By now I was living in NC and was traveling back and forth to see family. I kept telling him to credit me for the part and they could keep the labor charges and he agreed. He said he was having a problem crediting my card as it was beyond 6 months and then he said he was going to send me a check. It has now been almost 8 months and still no refund. He does not answer my phone calls, messages, etc. It seems he does not want to make this right. I would encourage anyone doing business to make sure you only pay AFTER the service is completed. Walked in, explained the problem & he took my phone calling the help center to help me get this straightened out. NOW THE BAD...a young, female employee sitting at her desk overheard a part of the conversation between us and the male employee & said she could set us up with a better plan, unlimited data, phone & text for $35 each + taxes! Sounded good however she said she was not allowed to switch from prepaid to a monthly plan & let us keep our existing numbers. I knew this wasn't correct, my sons have switched accounts from At&T to Verison to T-Mobile and could keep their existing numbers. I also have a sales business and couldn't afford to change numbers, which I mentioned to her. She wasn't interested in accommodating a customer unless she was able to set us up as a new account so she got the credit. It happened before to my sister'nlaw in a different state, I was on to her. Just beware when you go here, look up your options before visiting. I gave them 4 stars because of the male employee who wanted to help me, only getting a thank you in return! He gave outstanding customer service

I was told to leave it in the drop box by the tech and they had been very familiar with my phone as it had been repaired 3 times prior. I made it very clear to the clerk that I lived in Albany, wanted the phone fixed that evening, or I would have to go somewhere else. He charged me in advance, took all my personal information to gain access to my phone, told me to come back in an hour and a half, and when I did, told me he did not have the part, couldn't fix it, but had an awesome deal involving swapping my phone for a replacement that he assured me was much better. I refused, he pushed and said I was missing out on an awesome deal, refunded the money on my credit card, and I left. The next day I discovered that he had not even refunded the money correctly and had to make a 20 minute call to the credit card company to get compensated for the cost of tax that he had apparently planned to keep. BAH! Terrible experience. Next day I went to the i fixit in Colonie Center. No payment in advance, professional service, checked to make sure he had parts in advance, charged about 50$ less than the guy in Oneida had charged, and fixed it smoothly and quickly.
