We understand the main phone holder has to contact customer service, seek permission to switch over, then the new person to allow the new number be added into the plan. For some odd reason, out of a store of five employees. It's odd that we still needed to contact customer service separately when even if it is not up to them what is decided- they can still contact customer service because this is a particular task that should be done in the store. Before we came into the store, we saw they could help or else why would we come in. One employee did point us in the right direction. The girl we were originally speaking to, she wasn't listening to what we said and was too busy goofing off when she wasn't paying attention. At least we received an answer, she wasn't helpful. Guidance we needed, this should be solved at the store. It would be more convenient because we are all there for the same purpose to be on the same T- Mobile line.

Always feels like I'm walking into a bodega with bachata music straining my ears, or at least lower the volume so that I don't have to scream at the person helping me. I have been visiting the local store in Fort Lee (92 Linwood Plaza, NJ 07024) location, weekly since January 2022, each time only able to spend a few mins to ask if they have been able to arrive at a solution. I found the staff to be timid, poorly trained and uninformed. They all capitulate to their Manger Tiffany, who is nothing less than incompetent, hostile and unfriendly. She had me stop by every other week to get feed back on the phone case that was used in error and needed a new trade-in  kit to return my Iphone 12 trade in. Tiffany was rude hostile very unhelpful. I am almost certain their main office does not know how their staff at this office are giving them a very bad name; very customer unfriendly and refusing to give the other ATT staff on the customer svc line today (Minja, at remote location, Georgia). The only person at the store wanting to help and was trying to explore issues was a young new staff- Jose Pierot. I hope their CEO is able to do a deep dive and read all the notes regarding this nightmare his staff has put me through since Jan this year, while all I needed was how to get a return label from the store or being able to drop off the trade-in phone at this store. Things can move slowly as English is not the first language of many staff and customers, and they don't share a common first language. After waiting 25 minutes I was asked by Evelyn if I needed help. Apparently even though I registered at the kiosk, the system didn't record it. Fortunately for me, Evelyn was attentive and was able to quickly assist me. She was very knowledgeable and pleasant, and did a great job helping me transfer to Spectrum cell service. Next time, I won't assume the system will alert the staff that I'm there!
