Adam was so helpful with the measurements and was able to recommended models that can be stacked to create more space AND be energy efficient. He also let me know about all the different rebates I could potentially qualify for. I ordered a washer/dryer set on a Wednesday, and they came in first thing Friday morning. They were super fast with installation and very polite. They were all masked and gloved up, and they took my washing machine away. Joe D's is comparable, if not cheaper than the big box stores AND you get amazing customer service that you would NEVER get at a big box store. Thank the Lord for Adam and Joe D's Appliances or else I'd be hand washing all my clothes right now.

I am going into month 3 of having a nonfunctioning, unuseable outdoor kitchen which still remains a half built shell on my back deck because Sal sold me a damaged, subpar outdoor kitchen which he refuses to provide any level of customer service! This business owner cares about one thing and one thing only... HIMSELF! He does not care what happens to you after your check or credit card clears! As seen in the attached image, Sal from NYC fireplaces has revoked even the smallest simplest gesture of customer service since I wrote a negative review! This man thinks his word is all that matters in this world and does not believe that actions speak louder than words! Another tit for tat expectation from a shotty self centered looser of a business owner! RUN RUN RUN from this company! Go to absolutely anyone else! This man is a thief. This man is a corrupt business owner. My credit card company says numerous people have opened claims against this man! A few days after the order I realized I had made a mistake - I ordered a dual fuel wood/natural gas oven, when I actually needed dual fuel wood/propane. I called and spoke to Luca who immediately made the change in their system. The oven was delivered the next day and the delivery person was extremely courteous and helpful. Again, I made another mistake. I forgot to order the stand to put the pizza oven on. I called Luca again and he took payment for the stand and offered to waive the FedEx costs since I paid for assembly initially. That would have been great customer service already, but to go a step further, Luca called me back and said they would put it on a truck and deliver it that same day. Such a great experience!

Kevin took the time to thoroughly educate us on all the options and process of converting to gas's. He walked us through the burner types, log options as well as add ons with no pressure. He also gave us a great recommendation for a plumber to run the gas pipe (JLM aid Bayshore). Kevin was so accommodating and we'll coordinated, we were able to get everything installed in one day (plumbing, burner install and log set up). Matt, the installer, was excellent! He installed the burner, set up the logs and embers and provided us with detailed instructions for running and maintaining the new fireplace. Village Fireplace & BBQ was super knowledgeable, reasonably priced and very well coordinated. We love our new fireplace and can confidently recommend Kevin, Matt of Village Fireplace (and JLM Plumbing)!

We had a problem with a kitchenaid freezer that turns out to have been a known issue. Fine. Now we've been through 3 ovens. The first was run by the installers for an hour and looked like someone had cooked a pizza inside. It has stains all over it. Second one came completely dented on both sides. Third one was accepted and seemingly ok until a few days later we realized the bottom drawer has a huge dent in it. I've attached a photo. At this point I can't imagine Reno wants to engage any further with us as they've replaced it twice. This just marks a decline in expected quality. We go to Reno for the great service and products, but if we can no longer receive that, we'll go to the big box retailers. Update 9-10-21 Reno contacted me and made it right. Rather than replacing the entire unit again, the dented drawer was removed and replaced. We love Reno's and I want to make it 5 stars but the communication is still lacking. We were supposed to receive a call confirming when the delivery would occur; we were not home but fortunately the babysitter was there to receive the delivery. We will probably still continue to shop there for our future appliance needs. Update 03.02.2026 Unfortunately, past experiences were not one-offs, but rather early signs of decline. As I've stated, I renovated 2 kitchens with Reno plus 2 washer dryers. The microwave I bought there just a few years ago died. I called up and said give me a replacement, here is my credit card. This was in August. Easiest sale in history. Well, Reno proceeded to drag this out into December until they finally just ignored me. The first microwave had a broken fan. The installer said something wasn't right. I called, got another. Same problem. A third didn't even make it into the wall - a floor test revealed it was a manufacturer's issue. Weeks go by and I have to constantly email or call. The next solution was to give me a smaller microwave from another brand. The owner of the company sent one of those cards in the mail "welcoming" me to the Reno family. I emailed him as well - no response. My final note to them was congratulations, you got my money. You will never get another dime. Frankly, go to Lowe's or Home Depot if you want this level of service. There are other boutique appliance shops out there that would be glad to have my money.

Tape was left stuck on the refrigerator and freezer shelving, and I have spent hours removing it myself. We also discovered the bottom drawer was broken, which was either ignored or never inspected in the first place. The lack of care and attention to detail is shocking. The dishwasher was installed without anyone verifying it functioned. It never worked, it could not be fixed, and it took three months of constant follow-ups and arguments to get a replacement. No accountability, no urgency, and no respect for the customer's time. For premium pricing, the service should be premium. This was the opposite. I would not recommend Reno's Appliance under any circumstances.
