I have Verizon wireless and I can't even access a lock box because they never have data anywhere. Their service is horrendous. They keep saying we're trying to fix the problem. But they never fix the problem. I canceled my service with them and went with another provider and they took my phones that I traded in and charged me for price of the phones they gave me. I took a snapshot of what I owe them for their phones if I leave and they ended up charging me $900 more making up excuses and lies. Don't ever make the mistake of going with Verizon. read more

So went into this store looking to upgrade service when there was this guy was being very rude and disrespectful to a lady with her small son with her and she then started crying with language barrier asking him to explain something to her twice in which he got even more rude his name was Pouria which he said he was the manager when she ask for one then another man walk up by the name of Doug which witnessed the whole thing, and did nothing in the 15 years of being a Verizon customer I have never seen any employee treat a customer like this so I called the loyalty number and explained everything and they said this is a retail store which is like a third party like a Best Buy or Walmart and that this situation is not how Verizon does business and they will get this complaint to the appropriate party at Corporate let this be a lesson you can't go around treating people like that. and I did leave my number with Doug for the district manager to call me which no one did and I also let them at the loyalty number as well. read more

I live a mile away and wanted to support this store because it's locally owned, but unfortunately, I regret going inside. I just stopped by on 11/12/16 around 4:30pm and the 2 reps working were extremely rude and overall unprofessional! They were sitting around as if they did not care about my business. I currently have wireless service with Sprint and wanted to switch over to Verizon. The rep did not initiate the sales process with me, it seemed like I had to force information out of him regarding new phones for my wife and I. I have been a Verizon customer for nearly 20+ years, I ask the local store if they sell pre-paid cards, V reply: "yes we do" I ask, ok, can I get one, I want to add minutes to a family members phone who already has a pre-paid plan..." V response: "we only sell pre-paid cards for new pre-paid accounts"... WTH?! This store is the worst! I never like to visit the wireless store. My typical experience has always been to walk in, wait to be served, explain what I want and then have the salesman try to upsell me on other services or more expensive equipment. Not so in this Wireless Zone! Darius greeted us immediately upon walking into the store. My husband has been itching to get rid of his old cellphone and get a smart phone. Darius explained the options - iPhone or Galaxy - and made a recommendation based on my husband's needs. Even when husband started eyeing the more expensive options, Darius did not try to upsell. I loved the phrase he used "no sense buying the diesel truck if you're not going to fill the tank". My husband ultimately chose a phone that was right for him at a reasonable price. Darius took care of all the transfers and even brought the phone over to us at Winestyles after everything was complete. Honestly some of the best customer service I have ever experienced in any store! Kudos to Darius! read more

They kept referring us to the store manager who has missed the appointment and never called back to follow up regardless of many massages that we have left. I went into the Verizon store to purchase phones for my business. I walked in, there was only 2 people working and I was not greeted or told someone would be with me in a second. No one looked up to make eye contact or to just acknowledge me. I stood around waiting for about 15 minutes. Another customer walks in & was greeted. I get that the two employees were already helping customers but you still need to do your job & greet everyone that walks in. I have worked in retail before owning my own company & was EXTREMELY disappointed. They lost a business sale & a customer. I went to Apple, where their customer service is AMAZING, & not only purchased all of my devices from them, I also switched to AT&T because of this. Maybe this store isn't so bad & could've just been the employees that where there that day, but either way this was unacceptable for anyone read more

My son was talked into fixing his phone through a 3rd party person onsite. DO NOT get your phone fixed by this guy. He does not stand behind his work. Within 2 weeks the screen was not working and we had to go through Verizon to fix it. Waste of money. read more

We walk in to switch our lines from one provider to Verizon and get told that they don't do electronic sims at all at Verizon. Which are $30 bucks. I google and find out Verizon does e-sims. I tell the employee helping us that I just saw that Verizon does e-sims. Then her statement changes to we don't do it here at this location at all. That's fine, but why lie and say Verizon doesn't at all as a company? Once she realized that we won't be moving forward with switching. She decides to bullshit and say I'm in the process of already switching it and The phones might not work if we stop or that it might take a few days to switch over. I'm like lady that's bullshit we haven't done anything yet. Honesty goes a long way don't lie to customers to especially new ones to make money for the store or for your commission. To add to the bullshit she wouldn't give us the corporate Verizon's address either. She wouldn't hand the phone back either and the attitude afterwards was just next level bitchy. read more

WOW! Talk about AMAZING customer service!! It's been a long time since I have actually felt VALUED for being a customer! My husband and I walked in this store with an iPhone problem from a phone we got while living in CA- not expecting much help... - we left the store kind of dazed.. not only did they go above and beyond to solve our issue- but we left there feeling like we have a new friend! From now on, we will definitely do all our cell phone business here! ALSO- this is a business that 'gives back' to the community... while we were in the store, they were giving out backpacks filled with school supplies for any kid who walked in-(and not just customer's kids). read more

If I would be able to give a minus double 0 I would . Came into this store with an IPhone problem, the manager there talked me into an new Galaxy phone. I explained to him from the beginning that I am not computer savvy. He said that there is always a learning curve with a new phone. He attempted to explain a few things but I could barely understand him number one he was talking way too fast and there was a language barrier. I had to tell him a few times to slow down that I didn't know what he was saying. He became annoyed and said that that was all he could do for me. So $700 later I left. Once home I try to figure out the phone after three hours I gave up. Nothing was transferred from my old phone to the new phone not my music not my contacts not my pictures, even though he said he would take care of it, which he didn't. I went back to the store three hours later to return it,were i meet Will. He exchanged the Galaxy for a new iPhone 7, which the manager should've sold me in the first place.Will was amazing and I give him a 10!!! The next morning at 9 AM the manager called me and told me that I made him and his store look bad because I returned the galaxy! I told him he didn't lose any money I just got a different phone. He actually ended up hanging up on me.He's a major jerk and very unprofessional !!!! Will should be the manager! I will tell everybody I know who's looking for a new phone NOT to go into this store! As we prepared to move from South Riding to central (rural) Virginia in May 2013 we learned that our wireless provider for the past 15 years didn't provide coverage where we were moving. So we went to the Wireless Zone to discuss wireless options. The salesperson that we worked with, Amrit, patiently spent a great deal of time walking us through our options and answering our numerous questions over the course of a couple of weeks. When we (finally) decided on phones and a service plan, Amrit patiently worked through the challenges of transferring data from our old phones to the new ones. Sure, it was his job to do all of this, however he did it all with enthusiasm and a great deal of patience. When we mentioned that we were also looking for an Internet provider, he mentioned Verizon's 4G LTE HomeFusion Internet service. After comparing it with the capabilities & pricing of other options (e.g. satellite, landline ADSL), we went with HomeFusion and Amrit set up the installation for us. Bottom line: When we went to the Wireless Zone, Amrit didn't try to upsell us something we didn't need. Instead, he listened to us, took the time to understand what we needed, made thoughtful recommendations, and then set up the services that we selected. You really can't ask for better than that! read more

If i could give this location 0 stars I would. I have had Verizon for 7 years and never had a problem until i walked into this store. After 20 minutes i was talked into switching into the Verizon Edge program, was told my bill would only go up a few dollars and nothing on the account would be changed, having had insurance for every phone i owned with verizon I never thought twice. A few months later i had an incident with my phone and when i went to send the phone in i was told i didn't have insurance. After weeks of there "Device Doctors" looking at it i was told it didn't work and there was nothing they could do for me. When i asked if they would replace the screen on my old phone because it was all i had now after their screw up, they offered me a lousy "discount". When i tried to talk to a supervisor i was not allowed and told to call back later not given an exact time or even a name of who i could reach. This was the worst experience i have ever had from a business. I will be cancelling my Verizon account and finding someone who values their longtime customers. STAY AWAY from this place. read more

Had a fantastic experience today at Wireless Zone in South Riding! Worked with two young men (Eli and Noah) who were very knowledgable and very helpful. They explained the new "no contract" deal with Verizon which I didn't know about and got me a new iPhone, installed the screen protector and helped me set it up. Thank you!! I was in a bit of a hurry to get back to get my daughter off the bus and they were very efficient and got me set up and out of there very quickly (even though they were also helping two other customers while I was there). I have been to this store three times now. Each time I went in I was referred elsewhere because there is not a whole lot they can do for you since they are not a full blown store. What really irritated me is that when I called yesterday I spoke with the repair shop inquiring about unlocking my phone since I am going to be working overseas. The shop service manager quoted me $129. I thought this was outrageous so I contact the Fair Oaks Mall Verizon Store and was told that my phone is already unlocked and the other store was trying to make money off of me. This was absolutely unacceptable and I won't be returning to this store. read more

Was in store 24 hrs ago and bought 4 iPhone 7 'a and my daughter was talked into a galaxy. After one night she wanted to switch to the iPhone. So after getting sale of $4500 on phones this year on top of $4000 two years ago they wouldn't waive the $70 restock fee. Also the sale ended yesterday and we now pay full price for the new iPhone. I asked for waiver on restock and said no. I was prepared to by cases and screen protectors for all 5 phones. For $70 a month they will give up $100's of new accessory sales as well as $1000's in upgrades. Along with sales Rep waiting on Someone Else while not finished with my sale. Great business model. I went to this store to transfer three phones from AT&T. There was a deal of a rebate of $300 per phone for the transfer. My AT&T monthly bill was $186. The salesperson at the Verizon store told us that we would pay $187 and the $900 rebate for the old phones would be applied to the new Verizon account. Also there was a weekend deal of $100 additional off the new phones (deduct of $300) There were three salespeople at the store that Friday night. They only had two working computers. The deal with paperwork took 2 hours, mostly waiting. So the deal was done and I had to pay $118 in taxes that night. My AT&T account was closed and I had a new Verizon account. After the deal was completed I asked about the $900 for the old phones and was told that I had to call Verizon service and handle that myself. Saturday morning I called Verizon, on hold for an hour first, then finally got someone and started working with them. I was told by Verizon on the phone that the store should handle all this but they can help me. Then the phone went dead. I called back, on hold for an hour, but Verizon set me up with a return for the old phones but the $900 will take two bill cycles, that's OK. During the call I noticed that I didn't have all the paperwork for the three new phones so after the call I went back to the store. One salesperson there and I had to wait an hour. I got the paperwork and some answers. Sunday we get a call from the store. They made a paperwork mistake and we need to come back ASAP. I go back to the store again. It seemed that the store made a mistake on the taxes. I owe more tax to them but they would need to cancel the first contract from Friday night and start over. So, 1-1/2 hours later, the salesperson had to answer phone calls too, I had a new contract and now my taxes were $135. Monday, I get my first Verizon bill for three phones we have had only two full days, its $275. The $900 rebate is not there which I was told by Verizon on the phone it will take two billing cycle but also the additional $300 off the new phones is not there. Now I understand that there are charges included in the first bill like new lines fees but subtracting all the one time fees I will pay $215 a month when I was told in the store it would be $187. Also my data plan has less GB than I had at AT&T. Not a fun weekend. Also the store seems to be run my young people and maybe there first jobs. Bad business at this store. They don't know what they are doing and seem to say anything to sell you the phones. I think a one star is too much for them. I wish I would have stayed with AT&T now and just kept using the old phones. read more

This is absolutely the worst store as far as service goes. They are More than happy to take your money and sell you a phone and plan but that's all. No service after the sale. If you have a problem with your IPhone they don't even want to listen about the problem. They tell you to go the the Apple Store to get it fixed. My wife asked them to see it the screen was cracked or just the screen protector. They said just run run nail across it and see. Would not even bother to attempt to do that themselves without prompting them to. They derided it was the screen protector and stated they could sell us one but would not install it. They had no problem installing them when we bought 4 phones at the same time from them. They did not have the proper screen protector in stock and suggested we buy one from Amazon instead of getting our information and offering to get one for us. You might has well have 2 rocks sitting in the store because they would be more helpful then the 2 humans that were in the store today. read more
