Adam spent over two hours helping us switch to Verizon, promising better service and pricing. However, the internet performance was actually worse than our previous provider. We also discovered that calling Verizon's national line resulted in a price approximately $100 cheaper per month. Scammed out of $100 for a set-up fee. Was not told about the charge and was not provided written receipt because "printer wasn't working" Filed a complaint with BBB and they would not even respond. Stay away. They work on commission and won't even tell you all the deals you qualify for if it doesn't benefit them. read more

After having a day of hell trying to get my son's phone authorization to be replaced or repaired and then visiting the local Verizon in Standish, it was a blessing to meet professionals who care about their jobs and their customer satisfaction. I would of given 5 star but disappointed in Verizon as a whole. Example: As granny I did not understand why there were 4 Verizon stores in Bay City all for different reasons ???? Finally got to first store on Euclid. Skippy was of little help and little patience. I could not understand why he couldn't help me with my issue. Keep in mind we live 60 miles away from Bay City for closest store. Well finally got to Corporate store and an extremely nice young man helped me within a few minutes. In my opinion Verizon has went Leaps and Bounds since February when they introduced unlimited data plans.. I had always been a Sprint Customer due to the very fact that Verizon made you pay for your gigabytes but I switched over to Verizon. they had promotions going on and stole me away from Sprint. I am super, super glad that this transformation has happened in my life because now I have service! which as a Life long Sprint member for 10 years I have been dealing with no service for 10 years. My salesman's name was Travis and he was very, very, helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and had a great smile. also although I haven't received my first phone bill yet I'm thinking that me and Verizon are going to have a lot of good years to come. read more

I work with the elderly daily and he showed patience, caring, and was a genuine professional when it came to taking time with her. that is what customer service is all about. My girlfriend and I were in the store for over 3 1/2 hours yesterday. We were both getting new phones and were deciding between getting Galaxy S5 and Galaxy S6. We finally decided on getting two S5s because the sales rep made it seem like the S6s cost so much more. The sales rep never once told us the difference in price between a S5 and the 32 GB version of S6 was only $100 until he had already scanned the first S5. When we found out it was only $100 difference, we said we wanted the S6s instead. We were then informed that we would have to pay a $35 restocking fee for the S5 that was already scanned. A restocking fee for a phone we had never left the store with, never made a call with, and never even sent a text message with. Then when the sales rep went to get the 32 GB S6s, we were told they weren't in stock in the color we wanted (black) and we had to get the 64 GB versions which cost another additional $100 for each phone. It felt like a total bait and switch. It was at that point I was so mad that I walked out of the store. My girlfriend remained inside to complete the transaction. As they were somehow so incompetent to put everything into one transaction, they wound up swiping her credit card for separate charges so many times that it was finally declined due to so many different charges coming from the same location so quickly. The receipts were clear as mud and we didn't even know how much had been charged on the card, let alone what our monthly bill would look like. I did know that somewhere in there was a $35 restock charge for a phone we had never left the store with. I called customer service this morning to get the $35 restocking fee waived. The call routed me to a CSR located out of state that wound up conferencing in the manager at the store. The manager implied it was my fault that an S5 was scanned in before we were informed of the actual price difference between that and the S6. He complained about somehow having to eat the cost of a phone. He said that he would only waive half of the fee ($17.50) and yelled at the CSR for conferencing him into a call that had a customer on the line. Yes, I actually heard the manager at the store being rude to the CSR for having me on the line during the call. Once the manager of the store got off the phone, the CSR said they would credit me the other half of the restock fee. After the CSR took care of that, they then explained how much was charged to credit card yesterday from the combined multiple charges. They also explained what the monthly bill should look like. The CSR on the phone was my only positive experience from the whole ordeal. I now have a top of the line phone, but I was so disgusted with the in store experience that I feel like throwing the phone through a window. Never go to this store. If I could rate it 0 stars, I would. read more
