I am traveling but originally from this area, and several members of my family who have purchased phones at this location recommended the service there as being reliable and helpful. As a longtime Verizon Wireless customer who relies on my phone for work all day, I needed help troubleshooting my new phone data settings and had several questions about my account before I set off on business travel. Noah and Will were extremely knowledgeable about the new 5G upgrade situation as well as the device itself and took plenty of time to answer all of my questions thoroughly. It's my second time visiting this store since moving to the area. Of course they are sales reps. But all of the reps in this particular store are amongst the nicest sales reps I've ever encountered. Geofrey, a very nice young man, helped me with my phone issues for the second time, and has given some great advice and recommendations. They do their best to understand your needs before they rush into selling you something. I don't understand how a lot of people give them such bad reviews because of their lack of assertion and attention to contractual terms. I despise such who are so quick to ruin a business name. No one can force me to buy what I don't need. I'll keep recommending this store to friends and family. read more

We bought two I-phone 11 on the 24th December 2019.For some reason we had to return those phones and we did return it within the valid return period. The Berwyn verizon shop charged us $70 restocking fee instead of $50. Subsequently I have visited the store 5 times now each time being told that I would get the cheque in a week.Its been 4months now .Still waiting for the cheque. Didn't expect this kind of service from our local store.Really disappointed. read more

I recently stopped by to look at purchasing an iPhone 6S. While the staff is welcoming and courteous, they attempted to charge $760+tax for a 32GB model that is clearly $750 at either the Apple Store or a "direct" Verizon Wireless store. I was able to load up the Verizon Wireless website and the agent was able to "match" this price. This store is a authorized ("indirect") retailer. Additionally, they attempted to charge a $40 "activation fee" that is not a bona fide Verizon Wireless activation fee. After my negative experience here, I called to confirm with Verizon Wireless and they confirmed fee is not usually charged with the new Monthly Device Installment plans... in other words it must have been applied directly by this store. As always, before signing anything at any place of business, make sure you read the fine print. I walked out and was able to get a better deal at a "direct" Verizon store. read more

I was excited to see that Verizon cellular sales in Berwyn responded to my disappointing original review, but it seems they still just don't get it. They still don't recognize that they have failed their customer. They sold a policy with a promise of immediate replacement. Regardless of whether or not the Tech Protect plan they sold me is executed by an outside insurance company, they chose to do business with that company (eSecuritel), presented the policy as a great new product, and therefore they are responsible to take care of those customers - or at the very least to inform those customers that a change was taking place. None of this happened. The eSecuritel plan ended on 3/1/16 without notice, and to add insult to injury, they charged the monthly service charge on my credit card on 3/2/16. Retail is all about customer service. You can't just blame someone else when you don't want to deal with the problem. read more

I just wanted to give an update to my experience with this store. I had returned to the store for a third time to try and get my phone upgrade, and after some technical difficulties, I was able to walk away with a brand new phone. Although I'm disappointed with the entire process in general, the manager who was working on the third day, Tyler, was a huge help. He basically started at square one and went over everything with me, clarifying the updates to Verizon's new plans, and explained everything about the device payment plans vs. the 2 yr contracts. He helped in breaking down the numbers to explain what would be paid, on either plan, which really helped with my decision on which one to go with. Tyler was extremely nice, patient, and understandable to my situation and was an integral part in the process. Overall, even though I'm still generally disappointed with the process, Tyler was able to help and make it easier and understandable, and thanks to him I was finally able to receive my phone upgrade. read more
