Ron Mills, business account manager in the metro area, is an unscrupulous, slick talking man but his supervisor, Reid, (Ron Mills' supervisor said, "you signed a contract." I simply could not get the transfer code from Xfinity for my paid-off iPhone 13ProMax THAT DAY so Ron said, "let's just swap out a phone for you." And it was a standard iPhone 14, (much poorer camera features.) I put it on auto pay, and come to find out, I'm stuck with a three-year contract. Two years into it I still owe $1000. I am visually impaired, as I told them at the time - it was obvious. Ron said, "it's the best deal you can get," and his rude boss, Reid, finally getting back to me, belligerently kept saying "you signed a contract." He had no compassion for a mentally and physically impaired senior. If Ron Mills is working at this store that day you want to set up a business account, DON'T, find another location if you want to get a business account. We are in Minneapolis from out of town. I forgot my Fitbit charger, so we looked up the hours of the Verizon store in the MoA. Internet says they close at 9:00 PM. MoA website says 9:00 PM. We got to the store at 8:30 PM and the doors were locked. There was an employee helping someone else who looked up and tapped his watch as to say they were closed. We tried to explain we only needed a charger and he completely dismissed us as if we weren't even standing there. So unprofessional. Horrible customer service. I would give them a 0 if I could. read more

This store is poorly run, poorly managed and completely understaffed. They weren't even that busy with plenty of places for people to sit down inside and wait Waited over half hour "in line" after being told a 15-20 minute wait time, and decided to leave, upon leaving they asked our name, to check out take us off the list, only to find out we were either removed without our knowledge or never added to the list. We never left the store or the area with the few associates, there's no excuses. Not surprisingly, I think we'll stay with our current provider if this is the best service you can get in person. What a joke. I'm willing to wager they care so little about everything this review will go completely unnoticed. read more

My husband wanted to go check them out with their deals we've been with AT&T for over 5 yrs and we've recently had terrible experiences with the costumer service . We walked in a staff member by the name Will I believe he was a sales solution on his badge but he was amazing ! He answered all our questions went over different options with us . We book an appointment in advance to buy the most expensive phone they have during COVID. We drive through a winter storm evading accidents to make the appointment we made . We have both confirming email and texts for 3/24/21 at 5:00. We arrive and the sign on the door says they are closed for this date. Who allows appointments to be made at a store, knowing it is closed. No effort was made to notify us beyond the appointment was confirmed twice. Unbelievable! read more

I went to the Mall of America Verizon store to cancel my service and had a terrible experience there. I tried cancelling my service over the phone and through online chat, but the representatives could not verify me after trying for 2 hours and asked me to go in store. I explained my situation to an in-store representative, who then went to get a manager to help. The manager, Theresa, came over and said she "completely understood" my problem. I was unsure if she did because I hadn't talked with her directly and I asked her to share what she knew to confirm we were on the same page. Instead of confirming, Theresa immediately escalated the conversation by saying in part, "I'll tell you what we're going to do!" in a very angry voice and then saying "I'm going to have you leave!" if you don't listen to me and what I am ordering. It was completely emotional and unprofessional and made me feel very uncomfortable in this store. Theresa also brought her body physically closer to me while she was standing and I was sitting and had the look of rage on her face. I could not believe this was happening and asked for the Verizon phone number to call in part to get Theresa to calm down (even though calling was not successful two weeks earlier). I also asked to have an in-store representative work with me so the cancellation could go through this time. I just wanted the cancellation to be successful so I would never have to come back here. Theresa told me that she "would not have a store representative sit with me. The Verizon team members on the phone will not talk with in store representatives. They will only talk with customers." I knew this was likely not the case and I stayed in store to make the call just in case I needed help. Like I had experienced previously, the phone the representative could not verify my identify and said an in-store representative would be needed. I told the person on the phone that the store manager had said that phone reps will not talk to in-store reps. The person on the phone said that was "ridiculous" multiple times and said "in-store and phone representatives partner together all the time." I then went up to an in-store rep and asked them to work with me (it was 6:30pm on a Sunday and several store reps were just standing around). Once the in-store rep was working with me, the phone representative repeated her statement about working together twice to the in-store rep because what the store manager had said was so against company policy. The phone and in-store representatives worked together for 20-30 minutes to cancel my service and I finally left the store at 7pm with a cancelled plan. This situation should never have happened. I want to work with companies where managers will listen, communicate in a calm manner, and will take reasonable steps to help a customer. That is not what I experienced at this Verizon store. I plan on staying away from Verizon after being a customer for 17 years because of this. read more

I was wandering around the Mall of America and happened upon this little gem. It's like a verizon super store. They sell EVERYTHING in here. Phones, tablets, beats by Dre, you name it and it's in this store. Sorry it's called a Destination Store. There's a road bike in this store! A treadmill! They showed me how to use my Fit Bit with my road bike (who knew). The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about everything. No wonder it seems like Verizon owns everything. I listened to some music and just played with all their toys for a bit. Apparently this superstore is the first of its kind. My salesperson told me they're building one in Chicago on Michigan Ave and I can't wait. When you visit the MOA this is definitely a place to check out! read more

For a cell phone store, this place is INCREDIBLE!! I feel like they took notes of how Apple does retail, because it felt like the cell phone version of an Apple store. First of all when you walk in (if your not there to browse but need to work with an associate) there is someone dedicated to checking you in, and you get an estimate how how long your wait will be. I initially went there on a Friday around 5:30 pm. Got checked in right away and the store was busy with customers. I came back later that night to purchase an iPhone 6 (they were about the only place left that had them) and had to wait about 40 min (understandable, it was a Friday night at MOA). When I had to wait on my second visit there, I probably had about 3 people check in with me to give me an update on my wait time and how many people were ahead of me. Loved that, very good customer service. When I actually met with the associate (worked with Tracey) he was just awesome. Such a nice guy, very personable, was able to get me my new iPhone, sign the contracts, trade in my old iPhone, and make sure it was activated and ready to go in less than 20 min. As far as the store itself, it's HUGE and has a ton of products on display to play with. Like I said feels like a cell phone version of an Apple store (just not as minimalistic). Overall VERY impressed with this place. The sales people told us they are one of the largest Verizon stores in the country and as such have a huge inventory of very popular products. If you happen to be in MOA, even if you don't need to go to the Verizon store, just check it out anyway just for the experience. read more

How is it possible two Verizon stores could be so different!! Yet again I went to the Uptown location today because it is only 1 mile from my house and yet again I was treated like dirt! I left the store outraged and furious with the terrible customer service and decided to try the Mall of America location..... Wow! What a happy surprise!!! I walked into a beautiful store, was greeted immediately with a genuine and professional attitude and was told that Andrea would be helping me. What a help she was! Very professional, pleasant and outgoing. She truly made me feel like she was there to help me and didn't leave me feeling like I was the bad guy! After Andrea had taken care of everything, I asked her to get the manager for me...... I wanted to make sure the manger knew how happy I was with the customer service I received from Andrea. Yet again, another surprise! Jessica the manager on duty was just as professional and pleasant! Verizon, if you're smart you will fire Jesse, the manager at the Uptown location and the rude, condescending staff there and replace them with pleasant, professional, respectful employees like Andrea & Jessica at your Mall of America location. Until I hear that BIG changes have been made at the Uptown location I will drive 10 miles out of my way to go to the Mall of America location. Thanks again Andrea & Jessica! Way to go! read more

This place is freaking amazing the customer service here is on point! I came in with a phone issue and i couldn't get the error to pull up again, I told the tech I think her name was kristin that i was sorry and will just look around the store till the error came up and she was like that's okay no problem i don't mind waiting around for it to come up. Mind you this was like 5mins to close anyhow it finely came up and we checked the phone for water damage and of course none. Anyhow she was really informational and wanted to do everything she could to correct my issue, love this place my first time in! read more

The worst customer service experience I have had in over a decade. The representatives were very rude and when asked about when information regarding our issue would be available the rep stated it 'magically' appears onto our accounts. When we requested to speak with a manager they refused to speak with us. We asked for the manager's card and we were provided multiple excuses including that 'all managers are in a closed door meeting' and 'all of the manager business cards are locked up'. While we were finally leaving the store an additional representative attempted to sympathize with our service we received and claimed she would follow up within 24 hours to resolve the issues the other representative created. It has been 2 business days and we still have not heard a word...worst cell phone store experience ever. read more
