With behavior that was condescending and arrogant, Jay treated me with disdain, making me feel stupid because I am 75 years old and not familiar with all the au courant cell phone lingo. Manipulating the transaction with verbiage beyond the understanding of any educated person, I thought I had purchased a new iPhone 17 Pro Max at a good price point. After signing the paperwork, Jay informed me my phone wouldn't be available for weeks, and I would have to wait until someone from Verizon contacted me. However, my new plan would start immediately despite not having a new phone. Jay rushed me out of the store because he had someone waiting for him. The next day, my iPhone 11, which I've had for years, began malfunctioning and was unable to connect to a cellular network without an Internet connection. I called to speak with Jay, who said, "Okay, but I have another customer in 40 minutes." I rushed over to the store, and in a haughty manner, Jay asked, "What do you want me to do? I have never heard of anyone having this problem. Do you want me to remove the SIM card?" I had no clue if this would work, and besides, mysteriously, my phone began working normally when Jay did something to reboot it.
