This review is for the Chris, who took all the frustration out of the process! I ordered a Samsung Fold 5 online with Verizon online. It was nothing but issues from the start. The online rep kept sending links that wouldn't work, it took 2 full days to actually get a link from Verizon that worked so I could pay for the phone to be shipped. The rep for Asurion was at the house all of 5 minutes for set up and left. I could not stand the phone. Overcomplicated, and a nightmare to use. I had to go to a "Corporate" store for the return. Chris was extremely professional. He was very detailed and quick in his explanations, not trying to sell me anything. A short, to the point experience that made it much more enjoyable. He set the phone up in 15 minutes with all my emails and apps, and made the process by far the easiest I have been through, whether that be online or in store. Superior customer service. HORRIFIC CUSTOMER SERVICE. they take walk ins before appointments. Waited half an hour past my appointment and they took three walk-ins with two more behind them before it was my turn. They informed me that they don't honor appointments only the order people come into the store. I have had very good experiences with all Verizon stores I had dealt with until this one in Bonita Springs, FL Beware!! I was told I needed to purchase a new phone because my "old" Samsung needed a new $28 Sim chip/card. Found out later my phone was only 2 years old. Both phones on my plan were upgraded to unlimited data ($50 each/month) without my permission. I was charged an exorbitant price for accessories, data transfer, last time there was no charge for data transfer. I went to my local dealer and although he didn't say anything derogatory about the Florida store, his facial expression indicated to me he thought I got screwed. He suggested I call Verizon directly. I did and was treated very fairly. Most charges were reversed and my plan was changed to the previous one. I wonder if this store preys on the elderly! read more

I went in today to buy a new phone because my screen went bad on my old phone. I saw online what the price was and was buying outright not doing payments. The guy quoted me 10 more dollars and said I was required to get a screen protecter because I wasn't getting insurance. So then when he went to get the screen protector I asked for the price with taxes before the screen protecter. It was 30 more dollars than what it should have been with the calculated taxes. Hmmmmm So he tried to tell me that it is different blah blah blah . Not transparent on prices and tried to add on a bunch of extras. I was buying a new phone and they told me they'd put a screen protector on it for me. They never asked or mentioned it would be an extra charge, just went ahead and did it. They also signed me up for their Verizon Protect plan which I told them I didn't want. Although Verizon is good, this independent dealer GoWireless scams its customers and the elderly. They tag on things to the purchases to unknowing people. My mother was charged 150$ for a phone case and screen cover, then given a 20$ coupon that was only spendable on them.. they also scammed her by giving her a mere 30$ for her Iphone 5 that she traded in. The manager is rude and told me not to bud in when scamming my mother because I quote "Interfere with his upselling" although I am the account manager for her.. This place is a classic scam and upsell, take advantage of older people who dont know better. I am 1 inch away from calling the district manager and reporting his comments and actions to Verizon as they are bad representatives. read more

Beware! "Free" phone = charges you didn't expect and never tell you when they offer you this "free" phone. 1. They charge tax based on the retail price of your new device (my fee was $75) for an iPhone 12. (Note: the 12 is the latest and greatest but that costs more) 2. A fee of $25 is charged to transfer your data from the old device to the new one (Another thing they don't disclose when the "free" phone is offered. 3. They trade in your old phone then the free part is the balance which is deducted (credited) off your monthly bill over the next 36 months. (My credit is $12.22 a month for 36 months). All of which don't equal "free to me. To top it off the new "free" phone needs a new charger $44, a new screen protector $50, and a new case,$55 because of upgrades so by the time you leave with your new "free" phone you've paid $169 plus the monthly 12.22 credited off my bill. Does this make sense to anyone else because I'm not happy with this "free" phone. My old one worked fine. I didn't need an upgrade. Only got it because the sales guy sold it to me as "free". Are you still reading? I went back the next day to return it only to learn the $25 data transfer is t refundable, they charge a $50 restocking fee and the $49 screen protector can't be used with another phone so...you know what they said...no refund on that. So $125 lost??? I kept the phone but not my support of anyone working at Verizon selling "free" phones. These sales guys are slimy bottom dwellers! read more

I was truly impressed by the high quality of service my wife and I recently received at the Verizon store. We wanted to switch iPhones that we bought at a dealer in NY and asked if they could help us. Not only did they help us but the manager took at least 30 minutes with us and would not take any money... not even when I offered to buy him lunch. It is a rare thing to receive the level of customer service that I have received twice at this Verizon store. First, I bought a new iPhone XS a month ago. I was so fortunate to have Adolfo V assist me. I am not a technical expert and to say he is a patient soul is a grave understatement. He researched plans and came up with one that saved me about $50 a month. (Admittedly I had an old plan that was expensive and I should have done this years ago.) He set up my new phone and answered all of my many questions. He switched my husband's number from his antique flip phone to my old iPhone. Three weeks later I was shocked to receive a text from Adolfo asking if I had any follow-up issues or questions about my new phone. I know all stores 'claim' to want their customers satisfied, but how many actually reach out and make sure you are? I mentioned an issue I was having with the fact that years ago someone at Verizon told my husband and I we should share the same Apple ID so now both phones rang whenever someone called either of us....and he said to stop in and he would fix it. Today I went back, he had the same genuine customer service attitude, created a new Apple ID for me, switched my phone and iPad to the new ID, and we are now separate individuals but part of "one family". I couldn't be happier with the service I received at Go Wireless. I was hesitant when I first walked in and was told they focused on service....but I can tell you now, THEY DO. Terrible Experience with the Manager at the Bonita Beach Road store! I arrived at 4:30 ....signed in and experienced only a 5 minute wait. When my name was called I told the Manager I wanted to check that my new address was in the system because my last statement had been forwarded from my old address and also wanted to pay my bill. In order to pull my information up he needed my security code. I checked my phone to make sure I recalled it correctly and provided the four digit code. He plugged in the number and said sorry wrong number. i suggested he try it again and it worked...he dismissed his apparent mistake as a "technical problem". He became frustrated when the new address had been previously submitted...I had mentioned i wanted to "check" that the new address was correct. Alas, we finally get to the payment.... he enters my debit card information ....ask for the zip code and declares that is incorrect. I know my cards zip code, it was NOT wrong. He had obviously not entered the card number correctly. The entire time he worked with me he had his left hand over half of his face, hunched over his tablet making it impossible to understand what he was saying. Yes, it was 5 pm and he had already made a comment to a co-worker he would be leaving. At this point I secured my card and left, I won't be going back to the Verizon on Bonita Beach Road! read more

My daughter purchased a phone at the Coconut Point location and they refused to help her set up her phone so we came here and they were great. Then four months later when her phone was stolen we came here and Nick was so helpful. I recently went in here with my dad to pick out a new phone for my mom. Yuiry was extremely friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. He explored every option to get us the best price on the phone and accessories, and even was able to get my phone upgraded to an iPhone 8s for free (which I was not expecting at all). He also was able to change our shared plan so that we got more data/month for $30 less than the amount that we were currently paying. I am in my 60's and I'm always having questions and/or problems. I came today and had the store manager Frank spend quality time with me. My husband and I purchased two Apple phones from this store a few weeks ago. Upon looking over contract and potential next month's bill the next day we discovered that the salesperson had not given us the discounts promised for the phones. He also, we found out later, sold us things that we did not need for new phones but he insisted we did such as new chargers etc. The manager later told us this was not true and that the new phones would work off old chargers. The biggest lie was when the salesperson stated to me "I am giving you the new phones at my store discount price"....I asked specifically what that would be and he said between $250-300 per phone instead of the $600 price per phone. That was not reflected on the bill. We have been charged the entire amount of $600 for each phone. After many phone calls to the store we got no satisfaction and were basically told that they all agreed at the store that this was not said although no one else seems to have heard the specific conversation but my husband and I. We then complained directly to Verizon. After a few weeks of phone calls with Verizon they agreed that we were owed the discounts as promised and reduced our bill accordingly. Anotherwords, they believed we were in the right. The store has since never contacted us again and refused to go any further to make good the promise made by their salesperson. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and would never buy anything from this particular store again. read more

I am so impressed with the service I received from Roy Torres of the Bonita Springs, FL Verizon Wireless Store. Roy was so professional, patient, kind and knowledgeable this past week as he helped me upgrade one of the phones on my plan. I needed a simple phone to replace an older model that is being used by an elderly person who is still getting used to cell phones. Roy knew of the perfect phone for her. He ordered it but it didn't arrive when we expected it. I had to leave to return home and Roy offered to do the switch for her, help to familiarize her with the new phone etc. He is such an asset to Verizon and I sincerely appreciate his going out of his way to help. During the process Roy introduced me to Hum which I am pleased to now have. He also went through my plan line by line to ensure I was getting all I needed and that I had the perfect family plan for my needs. I used to visit this store last year when they opened. I had a horrible experience at the store further north in Bonita, so I was very happy with the amazing staff and service I received here. However, once the staff changed, so did the service. The young lady that used to work here used to help me with my technical questions and be very thorough with everything. I came back to this store to receive the same service and had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Evan, the main reason I stopped going to the other Bonita Springs store. Instead of assisting me with my issue, Evan was very dismissive and told me I needed to call technical support to disable the lock code on my phone. Luckily, Eric was able to assist me and get me on my way in the three minutes Evan did not wish to spend with me. I will not be visiting this store again and think the staff needs some training in how to handle customers. read more
