First time at this location and I would say it is very clean and spacious. Employee who helped me greeted me quickly and was able to take care of me while at the same time finishing up with a customer he was dealing with when I walked in. He grabbed my new phone handed it to me in a nice Verizon bag and I left. They also have pick up lockers on the outside of you don't want to walk in the store. I like the area it is in many other stores and businesses that you can take are of all your errands without driving too far. Will be back! read more

I wasn't in the store and I wasn't in the country. This greatly concerned me to the point of calling corporate office. They had no need to access my account. When customers walk into your store all someone has to do is acknowledge them and state that someone will be with shortly. This will go a long way and is respectful. We walked in and stood around in the store with no one saying anything so, we went to the one in Waldorf. This was busier than Clinton but they made it there business to acknowledge us and say they would be with us shortly. Every member of the staff is knowledgeable, patient, kind, engaging, etc. I had to bring my pops in to get his phone checked because it wasn't working. I can't recall the name of the young lady that helped him but she was on point and knew exactly what was wrong with the phone. She then proceeded to take care of everything. I got this phone in LA, in addition to my regular phone simply because I needed a phone that would work in Mexico and in the US. I told the salesperson that I would be in Mexico for 6 months on a project. The salesperson said that the phone would work fine. It does not. After one month, my service ended. I was on a service call, and they said, well sorry about that. Yeah, sure you are. I am now paying for an extra service that I am not getting at all. Awesome experience while turning in my wife's phone for a trade-in credit! I was greeted immediately by a lead staff member and processed immediately. She got full credit on her previous phone and got confirmation as soon as the phone was received. Kudos to the lead staffer who made sure his team got their lunch breaks. The store had other patrons inside and they were engaged and served with pride and professionalism. Hats off to the staffer who made sure my visit was pleasant and positive despite being the one who 'opened' the store bright and early that Sunday for business. read more

Ordered two iPhones for delivery to this store. Apple notified me when phones were at store. When I arrived to pickup phones I was immediately confronted stopping me from logging in. I was informed that my phones had not arrived by sales rep and store manager. Sales person stated he would contact me when phones arrived. Two days later I received an email from Apple notifying me that my iphone order was 'cancelled due to my failure to pick it up from store'. This store should get no stars. This store will waste your time and when you depart it, you will feel angry and frustrated. Although there might be some ok representatives, no one really goes out of their way. On top of that, their management is rude, insulting, and clearly don't seem to care that their customers leave unhappy. If it was just rudeness, I probably wouldnt care so much. But... We have had to go back and forth to this store because they first printed up the wrong receipt after we clearly explained we needed the receipt for the rebate. Then, they acted like it was such a problem to reprint the receipt. Then, trying to replace a defective product, we were told on three occasions that we should come in, only to find that they didnt have the replacements. Even after someone said they would set some aside. They then proceeded to give out false information that I confirmed by calling Verizon. Trust me, you are better off driving to the next closest Verizon store. If you do go here, double check all they do. Don't be afraid to call Verizon from in the store to get the truth, because the folks here don't seem to know it. read more

I arrived at this store at 6:03 p.m. on Sunday, December 28 after checking online for the time they closed, which was reflected as 7 p.m. online, only to find a security guard at the locked door. I was advised by the guard that they closed at 6 pm and he could not let me in. I showed him my phone screen and the displayed SIM card error which was preventing my phone from working. As someone who was about to go on last minute travel, I was willing to buy a new phone or do whatever I needed to in order to get my phone working, so I asked him to check with the manager to see what could be done to help me. He returned to the door and stated that the manager told him that he could not let me in....despite the fact that there were SEVERAL customers still in the store and that their site stated that they were open until 7pm. So I asked him to have the manager come to the door to tell me that himself, which he did. I advised the manager that I found his decision to be less than customer friendly, especially given the circumstances. His reply was that it was illegal for him to let me in, at which point I knew I was fighting a losing battle, as he clearly thought I was a special type of stupid, if he thought that I believed that there is a statute on Maryland's books that involve Verizon Wireless. I will never return to that store again! And if it weren't for the contract I signed with Verizon that requires my arm, leg, and a few viable eggs to break it, I would no longer be a customer. read more

Very, VERY poor experience here today.  The last time I was treated this poorly by a Verizon staff member was about 20 yrs ago at the Lanham store.   Today's service by the young lady with the very long, colorful extensions was so bad that I will remember it just as long.  Background:  Last week, I upgraded one of the lines on my account; excellent customer service from your rep (John).  Today, I went back to upgrade another line on my account - positively HORRIBLE treatment by the 2 women who waited on me.  The petite woman with the long extensions took the lead and was extremely rude:      1- Would not allow me to wait for the representative that greeted me.  Instead, she literally inserted herself between us and aggressively lead us away to the other side of the store, with the other female rep tagging along.  (I believe 2nd lady was a trainee)  2- Would NOT allow us to look at the iPhones in which we were interested in buying (she said they had NO demo models and insisted that there were NO models in the back that we were Allowed to look at before purchasing.)  3- I repeated my request that I need to LOOK at the $500-600 phone before I purchased it, and she said "You're just gonna have to buy it."  Totally dismissive of us customers!!!  4- Instead, she got a coworker's iPhone (in its case) from the back room for my daughter to look at.  Handed it to my daughter (17yo, not a little one w/butterfingers) for LESS THAN 10 SECONDS - and of course, we couldn't try any functions on the phone.  We were not even allowed to touch the screen.  My daughter only looked at the front, turned it over to TRY to look a the camera on the back, and the rep TOOK IT OUT of my daughter's hand!!  Incredibly rude!  We couldn't care less what her coworker had on her phone; we wanted to see the camera lenses (placement, number of lenses, etc.) Again, my daughter had MAYBE 7 SECONDS to evaluate a used $600 phone we were considering buying.    5- When I said we would at least like to know the difference between two of the iPhones we were considering, she said:  "They're both the same, there's nothing different."  (Please forgive me, I am paraphrasing there- but she said something to that effect).  We had to push to get her to say one had more storage than the other.    6- Gave me the same lame excuses when I asked about the Motorola phones, which I was interested in purchasing.  Said she didn't have one in the showroom, they were in the back, and she would not show them to me, etc. etc.  7- I could go on w/more.   I said I had been interested in possibly looking at other models to trade in my phone , but given the extreme lack of customer service, I might just turn it in.  She responded, very snippy and very loud, "well you have to pay the $50 restocking fee."    I'd like to invite her to come and get it from me.      Regarding her dismissive attitude when I am trying to BUY 2 PHONES FROM YOU: in my 25+ years as a loyal customer with MULTIPLE lines, I am SURE I have paid MORE than this woman's annual salary. Perhaps she needs to be taught that we customers have a choice where to shop, and that we in fact are very responsible for her receiving a paycheck. I have no problem taking my 3 lines, my 25+ years of loyal patronage at your store, and my current need to upgrade ALL 3 DEVICES, and going down the road to Sprint or T-Mobile (both of whom greeted me much more courteously and helpfully when I stopped in their stores). In the past, I have contacted your supervisors to praise outstanding service by your employees.  I understand everyone can have a bad day, and I can overlook it.  But this woman's level of disrespect and dismissiveness is insulting, and I am not paying as much as I have all these years to be treated like this.   I sincerely hope you explain to her that customers are the source of your and her income, and that we have the choice to shop elsewhere. read more

Purchased a Samsung Galaxy S6 From Verizon along with a extended warranty with the plan which wasn't cheap . My phone after 2 and a half years kept turning off on it's own . I went to the store and was told because I had a plan I would get a replacement !! That never happened and I got no where ! I am stuck with the phone and Verizon would not help ! I visited this store on 5/31 to rectify a improperly installed Gorilla glass screen protector that was done at the Waldorf store on the phone I purchased 2 days earlier. It was 4 customers in the store and they had reps standing around talking, basically it wasn't busy at all. The staff was nice and curtious and I explained my situation, he said let me ask my manager if its ok to replace this, the manager wouldn't allow the rep to replace it since it wasn't done at that particular store. IMHO, It was an illogical position since both stores are corporate owned. Instead of verifying my claim with management in Waldorf he said he don't want to mess up his stores inventory so take it back there and let them fix it. The rep. Is standing there in disbelief on this matter and as the manager walks away tells me he would have handled that differently. I left the store got in my car and called Waldorf (they apologized about the inconvience) and told me they would fix it no problem. The point of this review is, Verizion needs to pay attention to how these managers handle customer service. I'll try my hardest to not got to this store for customer service. read more

Horrible. Very slow service, plenty of workers but they just sit around while 2 or 3 of them work. Also, what I hate the most is they upsell everything. They try to get every dime out of you, they don't care what your looking for, and they won't tell you when you can save money. Even if you tell them about something you know they act like they don't have it until you SHOW it to them on their website. 100% scam. I had my girl friend with me, and after I got home, I noticed all the fees that were associated with the free tablet. When I returned the merchandise they charged me a restocking fee. Visited this store today so my sister could get her Note 4 that she purchased on sale for $149 on Dec 23rd. She received an email confirmation on Dec 24th to pick the phone up. Unfortunately she worked a 12 hour shift from 8a-8p and wasn't able to pick it up. The store was closed on Christmas and now we're her to pick up the phone. Verizon will not honor this sale price being as though we're picking the phone up after the sale was over. The manager stated that since we didn't pick it up during the sale dates. We can no longer get this sale. We have email confirmation that we have 4 days to get this item & we're here on the 3rd day. Spoke with the manager Sarah Beaghan and she confirmed that even though we did an online order. They will not honor it due to the fact that the sale is over even though we were locked in online. This is the worst Verizon store I ever been. I was a loyalty Verizon customer for more then 7years.. When one day I decide to take advantage of the promotion where you trade your old phone and get $300 on the purchase of a new phone, I try to add my wife new line with my.. So when I first enter the store note that there where more people there that day that before.. After talked to one of the Verizon seller and manager of the store and chose the phone that I want.. They ask me if I what to buy any accessories I denied then buying any cause Verizon price on screen protector or accessories to high.. When I came from my car to give the phone and explained to used the $300 on the purchase of the new phone they told me that they where going to give me the accessories free.. So I Took them.. After wait for more then 1hour so they can get the phone activated I run out cause I was going late to work and find out that my phone is not receive/or transmit any calls.. It took me all afternoon calling customer service to get my phone working again.. After got my phone working and check my Verizon bill online found that the $300 of the trade show only 200 and there is a charge on 100 for accessories that I didn't authorize..when to the store next day talk to manager George Williams who after explain what happened told me that my phone that trade is gone and he can give my money back.. I said yes.. After 2weeks today I when and talk to manager of the store George Williams to find out that he didn't said that And I can get my phone or money back.. Also that day I when he said those guys that help me are not from the store there doing training..
