Its been 30 days since I stopped in the Verizon store on St Rt 725 . Just to recap I went there to get a new phone after about a 2 hour presentation I agreed to their terms only to be told my address didnt qualify for the promotion that they had sold me on. SOOOOOOOOOO here's the clincher, my friend left Verizon and switched carriers after a couple of months Verizon told him if he came back they would give him a FREE phone. Wasting my time and getting my hopes up means nothing to this company that I have patronized for over 20 years. Im not even asking for a free phone but knocking a few dollars off my bill would have been a nice jester. Sorry Im not in the position to change companies. VERIZON FINALLY OPENED. I've been having trouble with my phone for months ... the spell checker was not working, screen locked, wierd messages ect. I drove there stood in line outside only to find my phone issues weren't the sort they were seeing people for. They said catastrophic problems... and I'm sure if you were seeking to buy new phone. Kept referring me to call Verizon for assistance. Multiple workers standing around playing on their phones. Basically waste of a store. I have never been treated so rudely in my entire life. This was by far the worst customer service experience. I was told by the first customer service agent that he couldn't accept my old phone to trade even though a customer care agent had told me that I could trade in my old phone at any corporate store. He said he couldn't do anything for me and didn't even want to listen to my story. After printing a return label and giving me a box, I asked to speak with someone else. He sent the manager over who listened to the short version of my story but said "I can't do anything for you" and walked away. When I requested names of employees I was told that both of their names were "Jeff" when the name on the shipping label is DeRay. I was treated so rudely that I plan to switch provider services as soon as I can. Verizon you are going to lose a customer. read more

The customer service I received from Brad yesterday at the Centerville, OH store was exceptional! Brad was extremely knowledgeable and was able to fix the issues with my phone. He tried many different things and wouldn't let me leave until everything worked correctly. Never have I ever had such great customer service. Extremely difficult to talk to anyone at the store. The store number routes you to the main customer service number and then I speak to someone that I can't understand. At a time when they are trying to limit customers coming in the store, I would hope that they would have extra staff for phone support to answer questions. I rarely give negative reviews. I am a business owner myself and understand how quickly people leave a negative review but will rarely leave a positive review. I hope that this gets someone's attention so that they understand that NO customer service is about as bad as terrible customer service. If I can't talk to someone, I take my business elsewhere. I wanted to purchase a new phone. Upon entering the store, I was RUDELY greeted by the door person, who "told" me I had to wear a mask before entering, which I did as was "told" to me. Not asked. Matt was my salesperson, and a HORRIBLE one at that!! I explained to him what I was looking for, and how much I was willing to spend. He began arguing with me immediately in regards to what I would like or dislike!! He does not know me at all, so I found that funny!! He began mumbling behind his mask. I lowered my mask to explain to him that I was unable to understand him. Another employee screamed from across the store, " Lady, put your mask up!!" Seriously?? Matt was more concerned about his commission than my wants or needs in a cell phone. I will NEVER, EVER step foot into that store again. I have never been treated so horribly in my life! I believe Matt needs to be re-trained in customer service, because OBVIOUSLY he missed that day! I give this store and its employees 0 stars!!! Sad too, because had I been spoke to in a respectful manner, listened too, had my questions answered, etc.... I could have bought ANY phone in there. No help on my bill just another company taking the nickel and dime approach to its customers

I was very disappointed in my recent experience at this Verizon location, specifically with the support team. The national support team was helpful in giving me a solution for getting my iPhone 6 swapped out in a retail store, since it arrived in the mail damaged. Since this store is the closest one to my house, I went there to swap it out. They of course did not have one in stock, but that's not a fault of theirs. I explained what I was told by their national support team and how I should be able to exchange a phone in the store with no issues. This seemed to be new information for the employees at this store. Chuck and another gentleman attempted to assist me with my problem, but only made matters worse. They stated that they could only do a "warranty exchange" on the DOA iPhone. They then told me that since the phone is damaged, which was at no fault of mine, they would ship it to their warranty claims center for evaluation. Since the phone is damaged, Chuck then told me that I would be charged $500 for a replacement phone. They suggested that I wait for a form to go through that the phone support personnel submitted. I was told that the form should go through on either Monday or Tuesday and then I will be shipped a new phone. I received no call Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday from anyone at Verizon. I then called their national phone support team to get an update on the progress of my claim. Linda was the woman I talked to and verified that all the information that I received from this store was false. Chuck and the other associate gave me false information pertaining to swapping out my phone, being charged $500, and being able to activate my phone and use it while my claim was being handled. Luckily, Linda from phone support sorted everything out and verified that I could swap my phone out in stores. If I would have known that on the Saturday that I was in the Verizon store, I could have called other stores and had my phone swapped out that day. Instead, I drove an extra 40 miles to the only store that had my model phone, where the phone was swapped out in a matter of minutes with no issues what-so-ever. I do not recommend going to this store for support because they do not seem to have a grasp of their own support policies. read more
