Years ago life's most major frustration was dealing with the cable company. Today I believe it to be your mobile phone provider. This is why I want to take the time to thank the good folks at the North Decatur Verizon, especially Courtney. You know the mess. They've added this, didn't subtract that, told us one number and when the bill came it was twice that. Our first bill outside of the shop of liars in Reynoldsburg, Ohio even had a late fee built in. You might stay away from that place. Courtney looked the entire account over and found a couple of key mistakes that resulted in upcharges. There was also a first responder discount that was never applied. By the time she was finished not only was the bill cut in half; we received a year long bundle for three different streaming services...for free. She even told us those services "fall off" on their own next year. No need to even call. Great work, Courtney. Beautiful store. I cannot say enough good things about the manager of this store, George. When I purchased a new Apple Watch, activating cellular service and transferring the plan from my previous watch was a nightmare. Neither Apple nor Verizon customer service could help. I brought everything to this Verizon location, and George made it so simple. He also improved our plan, added perks, and made the whole experience seamless and pleasant after hours of difficulty. I came into the Verizon store on November 4th around 4pm to replace a lost iPhone and update my service plan, and the experience was absolutely unacceptable. The technician who assisted me was rude, dismissive, and unwilling to help. From the moment we began the interaction, he seemed irritated and disinterested in assisting me. He refused to make eye contact, physically shrugged off my questions instead of using his words, and when pressed, even told me he couldn't help me--saying the only thing I could do was go through the Verizon app, despite the fact that I had no phone to do so and we were physically in a Verizon. His behavior made it very clear he wanted to be elsewhere and let me figure it out on my own without assistance. I was treated as an inconvenience instead of a customer. At one point, he seemed completely content to let me leave the store without a replacement phone, which is unbelievable given the reason I was there. This level of unprofessionalism reflects very poorly on Verizon and left me extremely dissatisfied. Please review acceptable customer service with the team member that was working at the time, he is a problem and is seemingly unfamiliar navigating expectations of his job responsibilities as a Verizon technician his as well as with conducting himself professionally. read more

Came here to set up my new iPhone that I specifically asked the staff member if this was necessary and especially for future notice. She said yes but after speaking with a friend who had the same phone, turns out I could have saved myself the $30 and do it at home. It was even more hassle because none of my apps transferred my login information so I had to reset all of my passwords. Overall, the staff were nice and the establishment was clean. But I do wish I saved myself the hassle, time, and money by doing it myself had I been properly informed. read more

Subject: Extremely Displeased with Verizon Wireless Service for My Business Account Dear Verizon Customer Service, I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I have received since opening my business account with Verizon Wireless. Unfortunately, my experience has been full of errors and unfulfilled promises, leaving me with an unresolved situation that has severely impacted my business. To begin with, I initiated a port-in to set up my business line, which turned out to be a huge mistake. The representative who handled my order failed to include my suite number, causing my phones to be lost in the mail for nearly two weeks. As a result, I was unable to use my business line during this time, and no solutions were offered to resolve the issue. After this, I visited the Decatur location and spoke with a representative named Rebecca, who informed me that I would need to purchase two new phones and pay for them upfront. She assured me that once the original phones were found and returned to Verizon, I would receive a refund. Additionally, Rebecca promised that as compensation for the delays and errors made on my account, I would receive a complementary line for my business. Rebecca also assured me that after my first bill was processed, I could simply reach out to her via message (no need to visit the store) to have the fees and charges for the second line adjusted, as the line was being provided as a courtesy. I followed these instructions and waited nearly two months for everything to be resolved. When I reached out to Rebecca as promised, I received no response. I then contacted Verizon customer service, who was unable to assist me and directed me to the live chat support. I spoke with live chat, who in turn told me to contact the store directly. I visited the branch again, but no one could remember or assist with the promises made, and Rebecca was off that day. To make matters worse, despite the complementary line and the supposed special promotion for free phones, Verizon has charged me $600 in the past two months for two phones that were supposed to be free. I am at a loss as to why I've been charged these fees, and no one has been able to explain the discrepancy. It's incredibly frustrating that the promises made to me have not been honored, and I'm left with an unresolved issue that is significantly impacting my business. Based on this experience, I regret choosing Verizon as the service provider for my business, and I am seriously considering alternative options. I expect an immediate resolution to this matter and a clear explanation of why I have been charged the $600, as well as confirmation that the complementary line will be properly applied and any erroneous charges removed. I went to the Stonecrest location, and the representative was determined to sell me wireless business Internet. The customer service representative lied to me about the strength of the service had me to cancel my current service only to be lied to and given a service that is not strong enough to hold my business needs. I think it shows poor business practices on the end of Verizon representatives, as well as I called over a month ago to return equipment only to find out today that they had not processed it and once again I was lied to. I will be complaining to consumer credit about my experience with this company. I hate to be lied to only to sell a product. Poor poor Customer Service . read more

Verizon the company gets 4 stars, but Myles, the guy who helped me replace my phone, gets 5. ​He was super efficient and was able to take care of me and another guy at the same time, It's a rare pleasure to deal with someone who's competent and actually wants to help. WOW! Verizon and I have often had a love-hate relationship, but I am giving credit where credit is due today! My grandmother accidentally left her phone in a restaurant restroom today, and by the time we realized it, her iPhone 6S Plus was long gone. Since we do not have a landline, it is imperative that my grandmother always have a phone with her to communicate with family, doctors, etc. We walked in on a rainy afternoon and my grandmother was visibly upset about the series of events that had occurred earlier in the day. We were quickly greeted by staff, and were introduced to Dee after waiting less than 5 minutes. Dee was extremely professional, but also extremely passionate and understanding towards my grandmother. My grandmother also was not feeling well after a long day, so she asked Dee if we could move things along as quickly as possible. Dee quickly consulted us about what phone we wanted to get, the color, the case, etc. I think we were in and out in about 20 minutes or so. Thank you, Dee! I am usually hesitant to go into the brick and mortar Verizon store because of my past in-store experiences, but not any longer! read more

I purchased a pair of headphones less than a month ago from the store.They are a pair of wired Apple earbuds. Almost 2 weeks into using them they were completely useless. Visited them today and was told I was out of luck and that I should visit the Apple Store since they were Apple products. I can't believe how callous and in different the female manager was. The only recourse is/was to do is a chargeback. No customer service. I have been a customer of Verizon wireless since 2003 not happy at all. read more

What a wonderful experience I had at this store (twice) and it's literally because of Donnie. Donnie is incredibly honest, patient, and fully attentive. He gave me all my options and saved me from spending hundreds of dollars. He answered all of my questions, he showed me multiple options and was incredibly friendly while doing it. The store was clean, the feeling was relaxed - but honestly, it's been a very long time since I have come across someone that has immaculate customer service. THE MANAGER darts to the back room when I parked in front of the store location. THE SALES REPRESENTATIVE standing plainly in view wouldn't approach the front door to even remotely inquire as to the reason for my after hours visit. As I'm standing outside the front door, I witness THE SALES REPRESENTATIVE walk to the back room ... the area where THE MANAGER disappeared to only moments prior. I am only to surmise that THE MANAGER tells THE SALES REPRESENTATIVE not to answer the door ... *** "WE'RE CLOSED" *** CUSTOMERS are still inside the store receiving assistance & "YES" -- again, I get it -- your shop closes at 7PM. ** BUT LET'S NOT FORGET ** WIIFM MY GOAL was a "lay up" of a commissionable sales purchase. I was not window shopping. LET'S REVIEW THE LOGIC OF SALES SHALL WE & WIIFM: In the amount of time these TWO "REPRESENTATIVES" spent dodging me they would have turned a buck for themselves & the organization; effectively ending each of their working shifts on the most positive of notes. Went here in their first week open just to get a SIM card for my new phone I bought on Amazon cause my old SIM didn't fit it. This is a free service for customers that already have Verizon, but Aaron and Tiffany were genuinely nice and very helpful in taking care of me. They let me know about the recent opening and the grand opening festivities that weekend, and offered to help me with any other services I might need while there, including possibly finding an employee discount from my employer for my bill. I was in a hurry and only got the SIM card like I needed but I appreciated their engagement and offers to help or provide other services without feeling like I was being pushed. read more
