    Well I only visited here for about 5 minutes…read more My babe was lucky enough to win tickets from one of their online contests. Therefore, I had to come here to pick up the winnings. From the Monitor Merrimac tunnel it's about 5 minutes away. The drive from Chesapeake Square Mall wasn't that bad. Seemingly, there was no traffic around the 3pm hour on a Wednesday. The office was not hard to find at all. It's walking distance from interstate 664. There wasn't any security block I had to pass before walking into the office. I expected to be "buzzed" in, but I guess they have an open door policy. Trustworthy people I assume! Soon as you walk in there is a conference size table for 8 or more. And a television set on the station Sky 4 TV! I was greeted by someone immediately. She was friendly and the wait wasn't long at all to claim the winnings. If my babe came to pick up the tickets, they would have requested to take his picture and post it for all to see. But because I picked up the tickets, my photo wasn't snapped. This locally owned TV Station plays a lot of local events which is awesome!! Alongside the local events, it also airs The Family Guy and other family oriented programming. Seems like a quiet office and they are always hosting contests on Facebook and Instagram. Happy winning :)

Their big contribution is the way they cover many of the community happenings that other "local" stations don't. Like the ODU Basketball games, The Oceana Air Show, Christmas Parades, etc. It's nice to see a small, caring privately owned company still getting by in this economy.

Even another customer got frustrated with another tech and walked out while I was there. Josh the gentleman who ended up helping me. After being here for several minutes and receiving short responses, and nothing being explained, I almost left and went to Costco. When I voiced this Josh and the store manager sat there and badmouthed Costco and how I would come right back and end up spending more money if I did that almost like a scare tactic. I decided to just go ahead and stay to get a new phone which I was told I was being "allowed" an early upgrade not as that was my right as a customer who has 5 lines with AT&T. The phone I selected was out of stock and I was suggested a more expensive bigger phone. When I asked, did anyone else in the area have the phone in stock that I wanted, the response I got was "we would not tell you anyways if they did" then it was explained to me it was because money would be walking out of their store and out of his pocket. I did have a lot of issues with my Apple ID password as I could not remember it. I felt like I was being pressured into trying to buy my phone as the only option because I could not erase my old phone which was mentioned to be several hundred dollars. I told him I had an iPad at home and I would try to go reset it on that device and I would be right back. Josh was fine with that as I even offered to leave personal belongings at the store so they knew I was coming right back even though they have all my personal information on my account already. When I return back to the store I could just tell I was being looked at funny as if I was a problem customer and had been the talk of the store while I was gone. When I was about to leave, Josh confirmed that as he told me, his manager had an issue with me, leaving to reset my password. I guess he had a talk with Josh while I was gone about me leaving and not erasing my phone that I should have bought that phone. If the store manager is going to be that money hungry, he needs to find another profession because trying to scare females into purchasing more things and spending more money is ridiculous and uncomfortable. I will never return to this location and will go further out of my way to go to a different location from now on. Thank you Josh for doing the best you could today even though you have a leader setting crappy examples like you do.

    I'd give them LESS THAN ONE STAR but it won't allow me to.... We had them hook us up 4 months ago…read more A kid came out and said he had been on the job2 months ... It showed... through no fault of his own. Poor or NO training. It took him OVER 8 HOURS to get it connected. Finally gets it working and leaves, late at night. He had trouble getting help without a smart attitude. (that was our first clue) Day ONE, signal goes in and out. Call them and they got it working again. Day 2, "searching for signal" was our best channel. Day 3, same channel. I called to cancel. They didn't like that ... I reminded them that FEDERAL LAW SAYS I CAN CANCELL ANY CONTRACT WITHIN 3 DAYS. They tried to get us to change our minds ... lol. They then told us there was a $470 early termination fee ... OH REALLY .... After a brief discussion they said they'd send a box to return their equipment. I also told them they no longer have permission to go into our bank account, ( I called the bank to make SURE) and to send a bill to us. We got the box over 2 weeks later .... We packed everything up as instructed, and sent it back. Then came the e-mails saying we owed 2 months of service !!! I figured it was just a glitch. We ignored it. Then comes another e-mail saying we had an overdue balance and owed $420 !!! And to call them IMMEDIATELY. That I did !! I was NOT very polite. I asked if they had ANY clue what they were doing... He apologized, and I did too. It clearly wasn't HIS fault. So after explaining everything, he told me our account was under review. We'll know in a couple weeks if we get an Attorney or not. NOT JOKING. If they think they're going to charge us about $1000 for nothing but aggravation, THEY'RE OUT OF THEIR MINDS. Oh, Almost forgot, I tracked the return box back to California and the USPS there stated that "THE CUSTOMER" refused the package ??? Not sure if that is a game to leave me hanging for the nonreturn of equipment or what ?? My next action will consist of alerting the CONSUMER PROTECTION and the BETTER BUSINESS BEAUREAU. ..... DO NOT LET THESE PEOPLE INTO YOUR BANK ACCOUNT ... BELIEVE ME. We got ROKU ULTRA and are very satisfied. Should have went with them from the start. WAY more channels and MUCH less expensive.

    DISH is moving more and more channels to streaming services. We decided to cut the plug. When…read moretrying to cancel service, my wife was told, we had multiple credits on our account. Funny, these credits never appeared on a billing statement. She was also told she could lower our bill from $160 a month to $120 a month for the same service. Why weren't we proactively informed of these 'credits' and the offer of a lower price. What douchebags these people are. And now, they offer cellular service. In my world, you take care of your faithful customers first. This man and his wife should be shunned. No, I am not Amish, but it seems appropriate here. I feel sorry for others who don't have strong streaming services. Our deal with Verizon will save us about $200/month. If you can, dump Dish. They are definitely not on your side. As a final kicker, they will charge us $25 for a shipping box to get their equipment back. And, no, we cannot use the account credits to offset those charges. DISH SUCKS.

First technician to my house was so stoned he could hardly function. The last one arrived with his butt crack showing, left his trash at my house and complained that the 'lady down the street' gave him a bad review! I thought the service follow up interviews were confidential!! Service where I lived before was excellent. This area contractor has left me completely disillusioned with DISH and highly regretting my unbreakable contract!
