I would like to publicly recognize Jayson at the Verizon Coulmbus Ohio store(s), on Hamilton Rd. and Stoneridge. I've been with Verizon for over twenty years and have never received the high quality service I received from this young man. He worked with me and took care of other customers at the same time. Usually, it's been my experience that after the sale is complete, customer service comes to an abrupt halt. He is patient, knowledgeable, humble and friendly. He helps with technical issues, and explains them in a way I can understand. I would put him in the category as a super-exceptional employee and should be acknowledged. Another Verizon franchise retailer gone wild (and I don't mean with bikini-clad coeds)! Whatever you do - avoid this store. First of all, it's not a corporate-owned Verizon store. What does this mean to you? Less integrity in regards to customer service issues and a greater chance for customer dissatisfaction, which is exactly what happened to me. If you never received your high school degree and want to manage your own retail store, I'm sure the owners of this franchise will be more than happy to hire you without an interview apparently. Why do I say this? The manager on duty when I visited this store appeared to have recently had a lobotomy (or something similar to it). He didn't know anything about anything. Constantly on the phone with other stores to find the answers to customers' questions, this manager was in serious need of some real training. I actually felt sorry for him. Maybe he's more proficient now, but he wasn't then and that's a true reflection of the leadership involved with this store. Finally, I don't even know why one would bother walking into this closet-sized store. It's too small to provide the selection one deserves when patronizing Verizon. Compared to the corporate-owned stores, this one doesn't even come close. Why bother? Sorry Verizon. There's always a few bad apples in every bushel and this is one of them. Good luck. read more

I initially had a sub par experience with this location. I was sold the incorrect case. That being said they were very kind and replaced it. I then had a charger go bad and they were exceptional about replacing it. They are conveniently located too. The staff is really friendly and accommodating. Collin and Chris were great. One word...Colin. Just ask for Colin. Don't let his intense salesperson persona fool you into thinking he only cares about the sale and not you, the customer. We had a difficult time with one of the phones when switching from AT&T. Colin followed up weeks after the sale multiple times to make sure we received the deal we were promised. That didn't happen years ago at AT&T. We were promised something they never made good on, even though we tried for years. I wish this kind of customer service were the norm but it's not. read more

I have a bad experience every time I go to this location. When we bought our new phones here it was pretty much an all day experience, between the employees inexperience and the mountain of paperwork. At one point the service rep told us to go have lunch and come back! Today we stopped in to buy a plug for my tablet that we purchased there a while back. Immediately the guy started with the high pressure sales telling us the tablet was outdated and we could get a new one cheaper that a plug and blah blah. I don't want a new tablet I want a plug. And he wanted to add the price of the tablet and another line access charge to our monthly bill. Not cool. read more

Terrible. I paid $45 for a car charger. After 30 days or so my charger completely failed. The wiring was lose and would lose power connectivity. Eventually so bad it quit working. I stopped In with a receipt where the said manager would not even exchange because it was passed 30 days. I understand the compliance issues and whatever, but this is not what you do in business. You can, but if you want to have a lifetime customer, you need to marry that customer and love them and you will discover the value of a lifetime customer,financially speaking. Negative word of mouth is the opposite of what ownership wants to see in their mktg mix. Will never return and neither should you. Bad store. read more

We visited the Gahanna Verizon GoWireless Store on Feb. 23rd to buy a new IPhone 10R after dropping my iPhone 6 in water. Mr. Colin Sinclair (Manager) spent a couple hours with us going over the phones in great detail. His knowledge was a huge help in determining what phone was best for me. Once I decided what to buy Colin was able to get all off my information off my damaged iPhone and install it on my new iPhone 10R with the exact set up I had before. Colin was able to address ALL my questions and concerns! After having my new iPhone 10R a few days I had a few questions and called Mr. Sinclair back a couple times to better understand some of the new features and customize them to my style. Colin has a very positive attitude and is so respectful to his customers. Colin sold us our previous Phones 3 1/2 Years ago and we was so impressed with his Great Service we traveled 25 miles to make this purchase a Great experience as well. Thank You Colin Sinclair!
