To whom It May Concern: I pre-ordered 2 iPhone 5's for my business and was promissed on the 14th that they would be delivered to me no later than 9-21-2012 by the phone representative that took my order. I subsequently received an email stating that they would not be delivered until 9-26. I called and spoke with a representative regarding this who assured me that I would be receiving the phones on Friday the 21st. Yesterday evening I received an email stating that it would be the 26th or later and that you could not guarantee when I was recieving them. Today I called, spoke to one rep who could not verify anything other than that the phones had not shipped and would not be shipped today. I asked to speak to his supervisor who's only solution was to cancel the order. I asked to speak to his supervisior and was told he would take my number and someone would get back to me in 24-48 hours. I explained that this was not acceptable and to please transfer me to his supervisor. After 15 minutes of me asking to be transferred, him stating that he was not refusing to transfer but only offering to take my number and have someone contact me back, he said to hold he would transfer me. So far, I have been on hold for 43 minutes and 15 seconds as of the time that I am writing this. This is not acceptable. As a business custormer with Verizon Wireless for many years, I would think that you would have better customer service than this. This is the quickest way to loose a customer. So glad that you have more than you need so that you do not have to treat them courteously or honor your promisses. Had I known you were not going to honor your delivery promise, I would have simply gone through Apple's Business division. read more

Verizon is horrible. I'm still awaiting a response to my 3 page letter dated May 12 which includes a lack of assistance at this store. After days without a phone due to Verizon lies & errors, I ask for a manager in this store at the door. I'm told they are short handed & don't have a manager available. I'm forced to purchase more equipment temporarily while I wait for a used phone (mine was less than a year old & still under warranty). Then I find out the Assistant Mngr Jeances was the one at the front door & he just didn't want to deal with me. Sal had to ask him several times for assistance. Verizon is one of the worst companies & if I could rate zero stars I would! read more

I have had EXCELLENT customer service from ALL the employees at this particular VZW store. All the employees at this store have gone above and beyond to help me out with getting a new phone, new plan, or just having questions about my plan. Recently my parents were having problems with their bill extremely high but Carlos was very helpful and was able to change the plan in a way that helped lower the bill for the previous billing cycle and lower the monthly plan. I was very appreciative in the fact that Carlos was very patient and was able to communicate everything to my father and I about things we weren't understanding. I especially liked that fact that he was bilingual, which made it easy for my dad and made the environment more comfortable. I don't want to "jinx" it but I will continue going to this store and highly recommend everybody to visit this store. read more

They get one star because I can't leave zero as the trend towards terrible service has continued. After having David, a sales rep tell me the case required for my phone wasn't available, I went home and called requesting one. They had it. I purchased it and spoke to the manager, Alan. He shrugged it off after trying to justify the lying of his worker. He apologized for my feeling wronged, the fact his sales rep lied was unimportant. The store had been open for 10 minutes, I hate to think how the rest of the customers were treated. Competing providers should use this column as an advertisement against doing ANY business with Verizon period. They have lost a share of the business and hopefully will lose it all. Worst customer service I have experienced in 61 years - my entire life. By all means avoid them, especially the Peoria store, unless you enjoy getting lied to. read more

Went to Verizon today with my boyfriend and his brother so they could buy new phones. Received a lot of attitude from Barbara but other than that the transaction went fine. Upon getting in the car, my boyfriend noticed that the Temper Glass Barbara had placed on his phone was very off center and already had a couple of air pockets,(Which can often be detrimental even after using the phone for a few days, as the glass can easily slip off of the phone, no longer protecting it). We went back inside to ask her if she could fix it and align the temper glass properly considering she was the one who placed it incorrectly. We were told it is Verizon policy to put the glass on as a "courtesy" to the customer but if we aren't satisfied, tough luck. She did offer to give us another one but refused to put it on, which is something most Cellphone company employees know how to do.. She proceeded to give us heavy attitude and was very rude while explaining that she simply could not help us. My boyfriend then asked to speak with a manager since Barbara was increasingly difficult to deal with. She said "he's going to tell you the exact same thing, but fine I'll get him". Long story short, this is their policy. Verizon has no basis of customer service regarding satisfying the customer. Yes we can put on the Temper Glass ourselves, but it is somewhat hard to do and besides that is what you rely on these employees for-- to know how to apply accessories such as this. It is ridiculous to us that they would not be working to completely satisfy the customer. They are basically saying that "it may not be perfect but we tried and policy states we only have to try once and we're good".. insane. And watch out for the attitude of a certain Verizon employee!! read more

If we could put zero stars we would. We have been in twice in the past month looking for a new phone, both times we were told they didn't have the one we wanted in stock and that was the extent of the conversation. We were over in Surprise and decided to stop there, same story, they were sold out, however the huge difference was they offered to order one and we could have it in 2 business days. Why couldn't this store on Northern tell us that and order it? It is unacceptable customer service, act like you want to actually help a customer instead of passing everyone off and right out the door. We will never use this location again, we will go a little out of our way to a better more helpful store. read more

This is one of the better Verizon's that I've been to. There was no wait and my phone was fixed in no time.

Beware of this store!!! I recently went in to trade in my iphone 4 for a iphone 5s. They told me i could trade it in but only towards credit for accessories (they were telling the customer next to me the samething). So i left and decided to call verizon wireless and they told me that i could use the credit towards a new phone and that she was unsure why they told me that?!! This is not the first time they have given me wrong info before. read more

Costumer service at this 91st and Northern location is TERRIBLE. Not only does it take awhile to actually talk to an employee, but they are rude. From rolling their eyes if you don't purchase something they suggest, to lying about buying upgrades. I will never be at this location again and I have warned others as well. read more
