Awesome gaming chairs and computers! Get out of the house and come play Fortnite or join a Super Smash Tournament at SL. I am hoping to get my son out of the house to meet some other gamers. I was grateful that SL took a look at my daughters laptop and gave it a good diagnostic. It cost $35 to check it out if you do not go with the repair. My thumb drive stopped connecting to my USB port, so I brought it in to see if they can retrieve data and transfer to a new thumb drive that I left with them. This just happened today. This team is on top of it and very responsive in addition to being very knowledgable, timely and quick, and clean with their setup. We had a computer with a CPU Cooler that shorted and they pointed out the points of where the issue occurred and what needed to be replaced. Fortunately the day I brought the replacement, they had it ready the next day. They installed and upgraded everything and showed how it worked with the new updates after it was rebuilt. The explanation was very clear. I would also say the price for the repair and rebuild was very well worth it as they reorganized the cables too! My computer was running extremely sloooooow and I know it's just because it's been years of junk piled on. I tried uninstalling programs thinking that would help, which is barely semi did but knew it was other stuff that's causing its sluggishness. Fearing I would accidentally delete some important files, as I've done before with a previous computer, I said ef it and searched for a non-Best Buy computer repair shop. Living in Litchfield Park at the time, this place was the closest and had some good reviews so I decided to give it a shot and I'm so glad I did! It's in this small plaza next to Hungry Howie's and this Thai restaurant. When you walk in the first thing you see are gaming computers on the side that are open to the public to try out. I was greeted by a younger guy named Gabriel who welcomed me and asked what I needed help with. I told him the issue and he brought me to the back which is their repair room. There I met Johnny and Sing (all Asian guys, not sure if that matters? lol) and they walked me through their process and why it's causing it to run as it was. I stayed while they hooked up my PC and chit chatted with them a bit before I headed off. The next day they called me and told me my computer is ready to go. When I arrived I expected to just pick up my PC and pay but instead they took me to the repair room again to show me the difference and how to take care of my computer and how not to clutter my PC, like a mini YouTube lesson! Love their customer service and they're all funny guys! When I decide I want my gaming PC I will go to them on my way to visit my parents in Tucson. read more

I brought my computer in because it started to have issues booting up. I stated that it does turn on but infrequently enough to where its a rather annoying issue. Staff were very helpful and friendly. They chalked up the situation to one of the interior plugs not being plugged in. Had reservations bringing it home because I felt that was not the case. Brought it home anyway and it seemed to be fine until I started having the same issues two weeks out. Called them about the warranty on the "fix" and they stated I would have to pay again because they solved the issue the first time. Obviously not. I'm just going to try a different place. read more

Stopped by here in search of thermal pads and paste to resurrect my PS3... They did carry the paste, but only in the smaller (3.5g) tubes - although their prices were on par with other carriers. Unfortunately the only thermal pads they had were pre-cut and came without a listed heat transfer rating, which wouldn't suffice for my project. Having said that, the staff here were very helpful in recommending other places to search, and were also quite friendly. For now, I (luckily) don't need their services... but if I have any issues in the future, I know just where to go. read more

My son brought his laptop here to price out a few repairs, and discuss the pros and cons of upgrading his laptop vs purchasing a new desktop. I went along with him to hear the diagnosis and listen in on the convo. I was absolutely blown away by how wonderfully helpful and informative the gentleman who helped us was - even AFTER knowing that my son wasn't ready to have the repairs done (a bit more money than he'd hoped it would be, but an extremely fair price). I pass this place all the time and decided to give them a shot. Took my laptop in to get some service to speed it up. The information and service was amazing! I ended up getting a new hard-drive and having them ensure my laptop had all updates and all the same data. They showed me the before and after performance and I couldn't believe it! We took our computer in for repairs, the staff seemed very eager to help and diagnose the problem, however when we left it there it went passed the time frame they said it would be ready and that's when their customer service turned horrible when confronted about the issue. Soooo... my daughter went on vacation and took her laptop with her...someone stepped on it and well the screen didn't work. So I called the manufacturer of the laptop and they wanted me to pay $275 dollars on top of pay shipping out of my pocket. Yeah no thanks I then called up SLComputers to find out how much a screen would be. It was way better price then what the manufacturer was charging. This place is great and everyone there let me know exactly what was wrong with my computer as well as how to avoid any further issues. They fixed it very quickly and i liked that they kept in contact as soon as they figured out what was wrong with it rather than waiting until i went back to the shop. I had to get a brand new hard drive for my computer because the original one on my laptop two months after i bought it (i had only used the laptop maybe four times) so they replaced it with a great brand new one and went and updated everything so now my computer runs a lot faster than it did before. I had a virus on my laptop but every time I tried removing it it would freeze up on me. Then I seen this new computer shop that opened up near my gf's house so I decided to stop by and check it out and see if they can fix this annoying virus. When I brought it in I was greeted by the receptionist then by the rest of the IT staff, they were all friendly and answered my questions. Afterwards they took me to the back, or the repair room if I remember correctly, and troubleshooted right in front of me and it took about 10 minutes-ish. They found what caused it and told me it should take no longer than 48 hours but the next day they called me and said my computer is good to go. I came and picked up my laptop and paid about $79 with no tax which isn't bad. But all in all, friendly people who knows their stuff. Definitely would come back when I have another issue or want to upgrade to an awesome desktop. read more

So I tried to be mr hacker and rooted my Galaxy S7. Little did I know that sprint deactivates your service when you root your phone. So I was mad and went to a sprint store for solutions. Of course they wouldn't even try to help me because my GS7 was rooted. But they did tell me to go to another sprint store but they will charge over $200 to fix. So I declined and left. I was dissapointed and also scared that I would have to buy a new phone. But while I was driving around, I thought that I'll go to SL Computers (since they always did a tremendous job on my computers). And I also knew that they did phone repairs. So I called and they said that they'll help me and I dropped my phone off. I got a phone call the next day and they said that my phone was ready to be picked up.
