I've had a very positive interaction with 2 different Representatives today. The first being Gabby who works at this location and was able to help resolve a very nuanced issue with my account system. She was a true pleasure to speak with and was truly knowledgeable in what she did. I had come in a differing day and hadn't gotten as far, so I do suggest folks make an appointment where they can dedicate more time to your specific issue. Another Rep I'd like to highlight as an excellent worker is Lawrence, whom I spoke over the phone with at 8003920717. He was able to help me with the next steps to my unique problem and also showed great knowledge in Verizon systems. Also another representative who was a pleasure to speak with over the phone. I know there are some not so great ratings here but I have to say our experience at the Centerplace store was FLAWLESS. We all needed new phones so we went and our Verizon agent was JUSTIN...he got to us quickly even though the store was packed, found tons of perks and discounts for us, to the point where we left the store with a new iphone pro max for everyone in our family, while paying about $80 less per month with our old plan (and old phones) on Mint. (Sorry, Ryan) He was absolutely knowledgeable, tirelessly helpful, and just made it to where we got everything we wanted without having to spend a dime today. I visited this store simply to erase data so I could give my iPhone to a friend. A seemingly helpful store manager lied to me about the Internet service they offer with a high-pressure sales pitch, saying the deal may not be offered in my area after that day. But it sounded like a good deal at the time, so I said I would try it. After all, there was a free 30-day trial period, right? She entered my information into their system, using her tablet. She scrolled through the lengthy agreement, clicking on the "I agree" boxes herself. When she got to the end, she handed me the tablet to sign. I made the mistake of allowing this. I got home, hooked up the router and gave it a try. After two days, I realized the Mbps downloading speed is so low, it will not run 3 devices. The bandwidth isn't fast enough to stream video or use Zoom. Disappointed, I returned to the store to stop service and close my account. The same manager was in the back but refused to speak with me. Instead, she sent out a young man. He and another nearby employee were condescending and rude as I explained what happened. Just before that, I had gone to the xfinity store in the same plaza and switched both my Internet and cellular service because I was so upset with Verizon. At xfinity, I was able to get both services for less than half of the price I had been paying at Verizon for just cell service. I highly recommend switching to xfinity for better bandwidth, service, and price. Verizon lost a long-term customer and the employees at this store didn't seem to care. read more

Worst cell phone provider out there. I have had 2 spinal surgeries in the last 6 months, so we are struggling. We made an arrangement in advance, and they still cut off our phones. This happened many times. Additionally, their coverage has gotten worse and worse. Every single hospital has decent signal nearby, but throttled down to nothing. There are also many hotspots that refuse to allow encrypted DNS connection to Cloudflare DNS. Stay away. read more

They are now charging me device charges for a watch that has been paid off for a year and a device charge for an iPhone se that has been paid off for a decade. This Greeley, CO location has the worst customer service I have seen in any industry. They sold my dad a phone and told him he had free roaming in Mexico. After 2 months in Mexico and an $800 bill the store refused to make amends. My dad asked them to disconnect the phone so he could purchase from another carrier and they refused to shut it off. They stated they are unable to disconnect phone service. He paid cash for his phone and had no pending agreement. He has been a customer since 1997. But no more, is he a customer. Because when I got involved we contacted corporate and had his phone shut off and found out that the store only had to call and have it disconnected once they verified his ID. You would think after 30 years of being a customer you would get better treatment then rude and condescending treatment besides the refusal to help. Do not go to this store. T-Mobile and AT&T have better plans, cheaper service and better customer service. read more

Verizon store at center place location I would avoid at all cost. 7 of our family switched over to business plan and was deceived about the cost and credit. 5 of us had xfinity for years and had to pay off our phones from xfinity to switch over to Verizon and port over phones. Had to pay over $2200 to pay off phones to switch over but did it because in the long term we would eventually save money. To make a very long story short we have spent countless hours on phone and in store and then found out about a week ago we were lied to about the cost of plan and credits. Plan on filing lawsuit in small claims court against store for deceptive business practices and all of us are looking for other companies to switch to. I wish that zero stars could be given as a review. I placed an order online to be picked up at the store within two hours. Seven hours later I had received no communication from the store, and so I showed up to ask for a status. They claim to not even know where my order was. I was in a rush as I was leaving town - hence the pick up order. I went home and called the manager. Ian claimed there was a problem with the order, and put me on hold for 25 minutes with no update. During that time I called Verizon on a separate line and spoke with a customer service rep who assured me she could see the order with no problem. When Ian came back on after 25 minutes, he still had no answers. I'm not even sure he was looking into it, quite honestly. I ended up having to cancel the order and go through the process to re-order and have it picked up at a different store. Will never do business with this location again, even though it is the closest to my home. I recommend you go with the Johnstown location. If I could choose zero stars I would. I went in to upgrade my iphone8 plus to the Google pixel 3xl. As it was almost finished, the lady could not get my balance that I had paid off credit towards my new phone so she asked her manager. I tall older man, he did not even introduce himself, dismissed his employee and said they stopped doing they upgrade three years ago. I had called the 1800 line for Verizon a month prior and was told I could do this. The lady even said she had done an upgrade just like this earlier in the day. This place sucks! 1st time I came in I waited an hour to be helped. I got a wireless pre-paid jet pack. The rep. Didn't activate it properly. I spent 2hrs on the phone with a verizon tech. Trying to activate it after getting it home. The techs conclusion was they didn't apply my $90 pre-pay to the unit and I would have to take receipt back in and have them apply my payment. Now I'm back in Verizon (next day) with another hour wait. Taking away from my work day and costing me more money! I shouldn't even have to be in here a 2nd time! F* this place!!! read more

This is the worst place. We came into this store to get a galaxy s4 looked at. It was having problems charging. We were told that it would be a 15 minute wait. After half an hour we checked in to see where we stood on the list and were told it would be another 10 minutes. After another 20 minutes we asked again and were told we had been skipped because they couldn't find us. We were sitting in the waiting area. Overall a horrible experience. read more

I believe every other one star posted here. Can not believe the level of dishonesty and lieing that goes on and is tolerated in this store. Went in to try and get my wife's phone fixed. The lady helping us told us that it couldn't be fixed, we didn't have insurance, and began the process of telling us about a BOGO event they had going on and trying to sell us new lines and phones. We eventually bought new lines and phones, seeing as her phone was broke and we didn't have much other choice. After having MAJOR issues (being charged for our phone that was supposed to be free, phone not being activated, number not transferring, etc...) we discovered she did in fact have insurance on her phone, and we should have been able to get a replacement phone. We were furious! When we went back to the store to speak with the manager he told us the sales lady said we wanted the new accounts and she never told us we didn't have insurance. We were treated as if we were lieing and he would not believe us and she refused to come out so we could speak with her. ohhh, and to top it off, now it's three months later and we have been charged every month for our "Free phone" even after spending 5+ hours on the phone with Verizon multiple times. My husband & I had a family plan bundled together with my folks, & that worked 100% fine for us. I started having issues with my phone's GPS & took it in to get it fixed. Our representative told me she couldn't fix my GPS, & that I had no insurance on my phone so there was nothing she could do. She went on to explain they were offering a BOGO deal for 2 brand new phones/lines, so we got the new lines, under the impression my phone couldn't be fixed. Well, turns out there definitely was insurance on my phone under our family line & I could have spent $150 on a replacement phone. Instead, we paid approx $500 to pay off the cost of my old phone, get 2 new phones/lines, & accessories for said new phones. When we went in today & explained this to the manager, the representative told him WE inquired about the BOGO deal because we wanted off my folks's plan. She received commission for a sale that wasn't even necessary, & the manager apologized for any miscommunication that may have happened, but we definitely didn't receive an apology for having been told my phone simply could've been replaced via insurance that we supposedly "didn't have." Maybe this representative made a mistake initially & just didn't see that I had insurance, & that would've been fine. But the fact she didn't admit to her manager or us that she told us my phone couldn't be replaced by insurance is infuriating. Be VERY cautious of certain sales representatives here. It seems like they'll omit important info in order to make commission. Shady. I know what we were told, & I didn't need a new line, let alone 2, only a working GPS. Went there today to buy new phones and upgrade plan. Put name on list when I walked in, was 4th in line. 30 minutes later, up to 3rd in line. Then the screen that shows list of names in line completely changed, my name wasn't anywhere. I went and asked, they guy said they were looking for a guy in a red jacket when they got to my name. No apology, no "sorry, let's get you some help right now", not anything. Just put my name onto the end of the list again. That is HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, and this is while I was waiting to even GET customer service. And I'm pretty sure this was the MANAGER who gave this attitude. Verizon has gone down the tubes. They change there contact's, not standing by their own agreements. They do not know about the phones they sale(s6),that have horrible features like advanced calling which drops calls . They do not stand by their product or service anymore and completely lie through their teeth and feed you lines of bull how their hands are tied. We've been with them for 8 years and are done. My phone screen disconnected, and the ONLY option they gave me in the store was to buy a new phone and add a line, or get a warranty replacement. Then I found out the replacement won't be here for 2 more days!! I live and breathe by my phone for work, so imagine how unhappy I was to find out from the phone rep at Verizon that I could have easily switched my account over to an older phone instantly!
