If I could leave no stars I would. The sales supervisor(Luis) does not know anything about the extended warranties they sell. If you buy a warranty and they exchange the product you must buy another extended warranty on the exchanged item. If Luis understood the warranty he would have informed that the extended warranty takes over when the manufacture warranty is done. Instead he was just going to do an exchange when we had 9 months of the manufacturer warranty left. I went into the Greeley Co location, the greeter John did not acknowledge me, after looking around i went back to John who was talking to the cashier who was 10 feet away, in a rude condescending voice. He finally got someone to help. Who was very nice and then when I checked out the cashier Alan was very professional and kind. My husband and I bought a TV on Sunday night, and they didn't have the specific tv we wanted in stock, they had to order it. They offered for us to pick it up or delivery. We opted for picking it up because we'd have it a day earlier. Cue last night. The two people who brought the TV out to our truck kept shoving the box into the back of the truck, while my husband was saying to stop. They got it in, and my husband rode in the back and held the TV box the whole way home. We brought it inside, and pulled it out of the box. The morons had BROKE the TV. I called customer service, and they said to just take it back to the store. So we did so tonight, taking the time to load it on a furniture dolly so as not to damage it further. We got inside the store, and the manager was supremely unhelpful and rude. He said they don't take returns on visibly damaged TV's unless they're delivered. I advised his employee who SOLD US the TV said nothing about that, or we would have had it delivered. I said it was also his employee's fault for not taking care when loading it in our vehicle. He only kept repeating the fact they don't return visibly damaged TV's. I told him I called customer service THIS MORNING, and they KNEW about the damage, and advised I would be able to return it as it had been less than 15 days. His only response is the customer service reps have been outsourced and don't know the in store policies. This store is taking ZERO responsibility for their employees' negligence. And we, who have paid a large sum of money for a new TV, have to suffer the consequences. read more

iPad went blank. Apple will replace for free so I make an appointment through Apple to drop off at Geek Squad in Best Buy. Show up 10 minutes before appointment and get seen well over an hour AFTER my appointment time. Additionally, it took forever to get the thing checked in. "New software" was to blame. Excuse me, but aren't you the tech people? Agent tells me a replace will be back to the store in a day or two. Check the website three days later and it says "work in progress". Chat with Best Buy and completely unhelpful. Tells me to call the store. Call the store. On hold for 40 minutes. This is a repeat complaint on the reviews. Why don't they answer the phone in a reasonable time? Phone guy puts me on hold to check with the Geeks. He takes my information and tells me they are busy but will call me back that night or the day after. Nope. So I call back today and sit on hold... again. Item arrived today but guess what? No appointments available today. Here I sit. Waiting for them to do whatever they do. Everyone has the 1000 yard stare. There is a golden opportunity for a tech guy to create an efficient and customer friendly business. There is no way Best Buy / Geek Squad can stay in business with this model. They advertise and you buy what they advertise. You go to curbside, they load the car, and you get home, it's not what was advertised. It's not even a complete or working product. They don't answer their phones. About impossible to get to a live person with their phone system! I'm always puzzled why such a huge company doesn't try calling themselves to see if ithe system is user-friendly! There system of ordering and product delivery (I got 15 emails and texts saying they are cancelling my order)... And, it gets worse if you call the 800 number -you'll end up in the Philippines and they don't know a single thing. I could have called about my puppy pooping and the lady would have thanked me for my call and apologized for the inconvenience because that's all she seemed to know what to say. She clearly knew nothing about Best buy.... The automatic phone system that doesn't work at the local store would have been a better experience. I went to make a credit card payment since I was nearby, and they made me wait a whole half hour with only one person in front of me! Then, when it was my turn in line the 1st cashier guy said he doesn't take payments to go to the next cashier! so I had to wait for my turn again. When it was my turn in line again the 2nd cashier lady told me her system is down, so she told me to go to the 3rd cashier lady. When it was my turn in line for what felt like the millionth time, this 3rd cashier lady told me they only take cash payments, no debit cards!! My gosh talk about a headache to make one damn payment. I went shopping 3 days before Christmas needless to say Best Buy was crazy busy. There were 3 checkers 2 of which were busy checking out customers, the other was texting on her phone. I had to wait for one of the 2 to get done to be checked out. I had mentioned how I would have gone to the other checker but she was too busy on her phone, the checker just laughed when I told her. I was so upset as Jackie, the employee that was on her phone should have been working! Not on the phone! Rude and unhelpful geeks! We purchased a laptop at this Best Buy and got the geek service. After taking it home and doing lots of set up, the product key for windows that was pre-installed had already been used (stolen?). It took three agents, and eventually we had to look up the error code ourselves to figure that out. When we took it back the next day, the geeks at the Greeley BestBuy were rude and not helpful. Then they wanted to give us instructions to take home to wipe the computer ourselves and start over. We asked if they could transfer all the setup we had already done. In a threatening tone they announced that they would charge us for that. Clearly, they had no interest in helping us with a defective product we purchased at their location. Finally, we returned the laptop and got a replacement. The BestBuy employees were pretty nice, but Not the geeks. We expected more from an add-on technical service that we paid for.
