I'm not sure how this store even has two stars. I came in asking about an upgrade and when told there was no inventory anywhere, I asked questions about inventory at a third party location. The headphone-wearing representative got extremely snippy and started assuming I was asking questions about getting inventory from them. When I asked for help ordering online to ensure I get my discount, I was told to call customer service and let them deal with it. He finally agreed to help me, snatched my phone and tried to click "agree" to run a soft credit check without asking me. Absolutely horrendous customer service. read more

My son went into this store to buy a new phone and had the unfortunate experience to deal with Tom. When asked if they price match, Tom told my son that "this isn't Amazon", to "go buy his phone on Amazon", and then sarcastically that "oh yes our prices are so high that we hardly sell any phones and was going out of business". I'm amazed by the lack of respect Tom has for long time Verizon clients. Is there no customer support training? Does Verizon encourage retail employees to react like this? Tom also didn't know the full name of the store manager or district manager. Maybe Verizon shouldn't pay these people on commission because of the used-car / time-share environment it creates. If you must go to this store, avoid the vest-wearing employee named Tom. I have never felt like a burden going into a cellphone store until today. They were in a rush to go home, not helpful, very rude to me and other customers, I have a phone place with Verizon. No one was helping me switch my phone they told me to go home because there Wi-Fi isn't strong enough??? They also no not except cash. 69$ phone case and I have to charge it. Stupid. I took my ass to AT&T and got a phone charger pop socket and an OTTER BOX phone case for 56$!!!!! I will be switching to AT&T, the customer service there is amazing and makes Verizon look like dog shit. read more

Very helpful staff. As soon as you walk in, an associate approaches you and gets you checked in. This particular store is located in a massive shopping complex, so they tend to be a little busier than some of the other Verizon Wireless stores that I've been to. But on the flip side, they always seem to have a large staff working throughout the day. Every person that I've dealt with has always been ultra friendly/ sociable and pretty down to earth. They've always gone above and beyond in finding the best product and price for me. Though I understand space is limited in this store, my only complaint is they could use a few more seats in there. read more

Here is the positive part of my review. I had a problem with a brand new iphone that was shipped to me from Verizon. Phone did not work as it was flagged with having a fraudulent sim card. I needed to have access to the phone - was told by Verizon to go to my Verizon store and they would give me a new card. I actually complained to the online person - they never help me there. She offered to mail it - I said no I absolutely needed a phone as I was headed out and was hosting a party more than an hour away. Went in to this store and then I met Chris- thank goodness for him! He changed the card quickly and had me out of the store in under 10 minutes - it really made a big difference! Now the negative - I had been in the same store the week before to purchase the iphone and had an awful experience. Salesperson had no idea what he was saying - quoting crazy prices and just rambling on and on. If I asked a question - I got a dance around answer - after all that - I said ok I want the phone - he goes in the back and returns to say - Oh we don't have any in stock! Give me a break - that was my first question. He was awful. Yes, I have gone in to that store before as it is very close - however most of the time - no help - store is not busy - employees just standing around and you can't give me just a few quick minutes. Really terrible customer service. Actually they probably could have sold me a phone long before as one of my issues was that I had only 16gb on my phone (which I didn't realize) which created my inability to use my phone at times! However they wouldn't give me the 5 minutes. Back to the beginning - Chris - you are all about customer service - kudos to you! My Samsung Galaxy 7s was purchased from Verizon with a 2 year contract. It came with a glass screen protector installed. The screen protector was covered under my maintainance contract. They no longer use that brand. They have me the part no. & warranty information. They instructed me to order the screen protect, not cost, come on and they would install it. I received the screen protect and the this store refused to install it. 10.00 a month warrant and they told me to take a hike.. guess there was not commission for them. I went to another Verizon and they installed in five minutes... The people servicing this location should all be fired and bring in personnel that understand customer service! When I contract is up I will be getting a new PROVIDER. Minus -10 I hope they shut this store down.. read more

this location does not have good customer service. I am an older person who bought a new Iphone from them and was told to take it home and back it up which i did and then bring it back for transfer. When i brought it back they had no interest in helping me with the transfer and told me to go to home and to it and then told me to go to Apple to have them do it. I went to Apple who indicated since i did not buy it from them they could not help me. I paid $40.00 for a setup but had to have a family member complete it because they would not help me . they said my apple id was wrong but didnt tell me how to get a new ID i would never go to this store again or recommend it to anyone who is not fully knowledgeable with the newer techonology. read more

I went in to get customer service on switching to my own plan, and the employees working there were just not interested in helping me at all. The one employee had an attitude and just handed me a card with a telephone number, but that defeats the purpose of me coming in to get one-on-one assistance. I tried asking him questions but he told me to just call the number instead of helping me himself. Three other employees were just standing around talking amongst themselves not doing anything. Where the independent store charged us for a loaner and insurance claim on a phone that was still under warranty (with a $75 copay), this location had a new phone overnighted to us for free. Previous reviews state the customer service was horrible, but that is not the case with my experience. I was greeted before I even got to the door. The man who helped me was Ralphie. He was very kind and knowledgeable. I was going in to to get an upgrade on my phone and I was in and out within 20 minutes, if not less. He put on my screen protector, phone case (that he helped me pick out), started up my phone, and I was on my way. All sales associates seemed nice and the atmosphere was very professional. I bought 3 phones (aka $3000) at 4pm yesterday, (the salesman Angel was super helpful), the next day one of the phones went haywire, flickering on and off & then called 911, not once but twice! I returned to the store at 11am to have a different sales assoc tell me I would have to call AppleCare and they should take care of it.... Ummm how about you the CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSOC call AppleCare?! I told him that I did not want to take the risk of this "glitch" to happen again and would need for the phone to be exchanged. He actually said that a $35 restocking fee would be applied if I was to return the phone... After asking his manager (who NEVER came out to speak with me) they agreed to exchange it but they didn't have the same color, and I would have to pay a fee for the different color lol... Oh and "you can set that up through iCloud", what exactly does this sales assoc do??... In the end they sent me to exchange the phone for the same color (no fee) at the Princeton store and THANK GOD they did... A complete difference there! The manager, Scott, and the Sales assoc, Mo, could not have been more helpful! I will never go back to Hamilton again. This was not the 1st time the customer service was awful at this store, lessoned learned! Princeton store will be the only one I deal with again, Verizon almost lost a loyal customer of 15 yrs! read more

This store was extremely helpful to me. I am a veteran who was at home in NJ visiting family prior to leaving the US. I made an appointment online and was contacted by Kevin who was able to assist me over the phone an discuss what I needed to do prior to my appointment. He told me to come in for my appointment and he would take care of everything and he did just that while going above and beyond. He was able to answer all my questions and concerns and was extremely knowledgeable and professional. Im not the most technical person and he not only assisted me getting my new phone set up but also explained many of the features. He also explained the promotional offers and set me up with a plan that worked perfect for my budget. I would highly recommend going to this store and if available ask for Kevin. I cannot express how greatful I was to get his assistance. I would recommend him to any of my friends or family nearby. He also took the time to thank me for my service and that was appreciated as well. Even with all the Covid requirements that were in place I felt that everything was handled safely and within a timely manner. My boyfriend purchased a phone from this place, he came home with a phone and a speaker. They signed him up for the edge plan. They made him buy a speaker, and he bought a few other accessories in order to get this plan. (Very under the table deal to my understanding). I went to the store with him the next day, and we explained to them they we did not need the speaker and we wanted to pay for the phone up front. The lady that originally did the transaction response was that she could not do it. But when i told her i called verizon and they said it was perfectly fine she laughed and walked away. The manager then comes out to help us, after we got terrible customer service from this woman. We returned everything, and paid for the phone up front. This verizon store is very shady, she did whatever she had to do to upsell products in order to get more money on her pay check. This place needs to know, if customer have the money to buy a phone, there should be no shady business for you to try to upsell other things that the customer does not need! This store has the worst customer service that I have ever encountered. First, when I arrived they told me there were 12 people ahead of me. That's fine, I made myself comfortable. But then people who had left the store to do other shopping returned after their names had been called (Rita, I'm looking at you) and the Verizon workers allowed them to skip the line. I had been waiting my turn patiently and now had to wait even longer. Second, when it was finally my turn the Verizon worker took my information and asked me what phone I was interested in. I indicated that I was interested in the sale for a new phone for $10/month. But after paying off my old phone, she suddenly told me that the sale I was interested in was online only. Lastly, a second Verizon worker kept trying to pressure me into purchasing a tablet - even after I told him multiple times that I did not want one. He scoffed at this and asked what was wrong with me. By the time I left the store I had spent over an hour and $25.00 to receive nothing in return. I went home and ordered the phone online. I was instructed by Verizon to go this "Corporate Store" and they would exchange my daughters phone out for warranty reasons. This is after numerous phone calls and about 4 hours on the phone with them trouble shooting the issues. I walked into the store and was greeted with an attitude and told they would not help me. I should take my phone to the Apple store since this is an Apple product. They were more than happy to push an upgrade on me or buy a new phone, but would not help. They even went as far as to tell me the phone has been physically damaged when there is not even a scratch on it. Then they proceeded to write in the notes on my account the phone has physical damage and it is not a warranty issue. What ever you do, DO NOT EVER go to this store for anything. They also lost out on a sale because I was going to upgrade my phone as well tonight. After waiting for my upgrade I decided to head to this Verizon location (aka the Corporate Location). As I walked into this store I was not greeted... and please realize there were not many other customers in the store (maybe 2 others). After waiting a few minutes an associate decided to attend my boyfriend and I. He barely greeted us, and I only know his name because I took the time to read his name tag (His name was Zee). I told him that I had looked online and saw that my device was eligible for an Early Edge upgrade and I was looking to get the iPhone 6 in exchange for my iPhone 5s. Earlier this day I had went to the Freehold Mall Verizon location to upgrade my device however I had forgotten to back-up my phone before this upgrade. However before I left Freehold the lady told me that my phone was definitely eligible for an Early Edge in-store upgrade. She told me that I would have to hand in my old iPhone 5s and a $95 fee in exchange for the new iPhone 6. Since I did not back-up my iPhone 5s I decided to go home and complete this task before upgrading. Since the Hamilton Marketplace is closer to my house I decided to go here instead of returning to the Freehold location. I thought that I would get great customer service like I had at the Freehold Mall... but I was WRONG!! The customer service that I received from Zee at the Hamilton location was not only rude but also unprofessional. Zee told me that my phone was not able to be upgraded instore because it was not part of a personal account. When Zee told me this I was immediately shocked because the Freehold location said I could definitely upgrade my phone instore. Three different times I questioned Zee on this information and he kept giving me the same response. He said, "Look at my tablet, don't you see the error I am getting. It says you have to do the upgrade online and have the new phone mailed to your house." Zee not only was rude but he did not even take the time to ask another associate for help with this situation (He obviously needed help because he did not know what he was talking about). His customer service was definitely the worst that I have ever experienced at any store. After leaving Zee at the Hamilton Marketplace location I drove an hour back over to the Freehold location. When I arrived to the Freehold location I was please to see that the woman associate that helped me earlier that day was still working. However, I was greeted by one of the general manager who was very helpful and assured me that I could definitely upgrade my phone today. I told him what had happened at the Hamilton location and he immediately seemed surprised, especially since Hamilton is the Corporate location. Overall, I am completely dissatisfied with my experience and do not recommend going to the Hamilton location.... I would rather drive the extra distance from my house to the Freehold location where they have incredible customer service. read more

Come to this store, get yelled at, then report these guys to get a great deal! I wanted to get a new phone, and be transferred to my wife's plan. The floor manager, Tom, said that he would try to do this. He could not. He gave me a phone number and told me to call it and switch my number myself. I left, and then my wife got an email and text saying that her plan changed. We went back to question this, and Tom became immediately confrontational. He said that he gave us exactly what we asked for. and all we had to do is call an "AOL" number and do everything ourselves. I asked to speak with the manager and Tom got Dave. Tom said he was a manager, but he got Dave, who was another manager. Tom started yelling exactly what happened to Dave. Tom refused to leave the area. I asked Dave if we could discuss this matter away from Tom, since Tom was irate, confrontational, and irrational. Dave responded with, "I really have to wash these windows though." The good news is that by telling this story to Verizon Executive Relations (verizon.com/about/our-co...) - then click on a contact link, I was able to add my phone for only a $20 line fee, I received a brand new Galaxy S7 Edge for free (no money up front and no monthly payment), free overnight shipping of the phone, and I received a $200 bill credit. Thank you Tom and Dave! Your combination of incompetence, lack of self control, and unbalanced anger management got me the deal of a lifetime!
