    Verizon store inside of Kahala Mall. Due to Covid-19, you must wait outside until a Verizon representative comes out to assist you.

    Bu-loop! Bu-loop! Bu-loop! As I layed down to sleep, all of a sudden I kept hearing a - "Ba-loop! Ba-loop! Ba-loop!" What was that sound? Why it was my phone that was on my phone charger, and that sound usually happens when I first put my phone on the charger to charge up. Now the real question is - "why was my phone repeatedly making that noise???" Especially since I just put it on the charger before I went to bed....... After a few more - "Ba-loop's", I just couldn't stand the noise anymore so I got off my bed, and walked back into the room where my phone was being charged. At first, I thought something was wrong with my new phone, but after I touched my phone charger, my charger was on FIYAH!!!! Oweeee!!! That's what happened when I touched the HOT phone charger to disconnect the charger from the electrical outlet! Well, that charger went straight into the trash can, and that's how I ended up at the Verizon store inside of the Kahala Mall shopping center da next day. What can I say about my experience shopping at Verizon? Safe, and very good customer service! The discount on my phone charger was just a bonus! Kinda like puttin' da cherry on top of my custard pie! :D So here's how it works during Covid-19 times......... As I arrived at the Verizon store (they are located just across from T&C Surf - Town & Country Surf), you can't just enter the store. You must wait outside until a Verizon representative comes out to assist you. I guess they are doing this to limit how many customers can go into the establishment at once, due to capacity limits during Covid-19 times. A good thing, as it keeps everyone safe! The clerk that helped me (darn, I forgot to get his name) was very helpful in assisting me on finding the charger I was looking for. As a bonus, I got the charger for 1/2 off! Can we say "DEALAGES Yo!" After picking up my charger, the friendly clerk guides me to this kiosk machine, and I just make my payment via credit card to this machine. I get my receipt, and BOOM! I'm out da door like a flash! What a wonderful shopping experience! Should I need something else in the near future, I'll be sure to head back to this Verizon store!

    Very unorganized. There is no waitlist. Customers just huddle around the kiosk waiting to get help.

I arrived to the location at around 12:30pm (time stamp in image.) I spoke to two employees. I talked to one employee that took a look at my iPad and confirmed the price and time to pick up (2 hours). I also confirmed again with the guy who managed the payment that it would take two hours. I show up around 4:45pm and no one greets me walking in. So I walk up (five minutes later) to the first employee and asked if the tablet is ready. She told me, "Oh you're early, I just have to put on the screen." It had been 2+ hours since I dropped off so I was confused but I said I will wait till they are done. I came back around 50 minutes later and the repair is not done yet. At this point it is already 5:45pm and it has not been finished. I wait until 6:18pm and she hands me it without apologizing for the wait or anything. I regret not saying anything about the time issue but it feels conflicting because of all the things I signed and I am not sure if I am in right to. The problem is not how long it takes, but it was the misinformation about when pick up would be. I confirmed with two people that it would be ready in two hours. It came out to almost 6 hours. I would not have minded dropping it off and coming back another time, if they had communicated that. But I was told it was 2 hours so I waited there, standing in the store and not wanting to rush the employees. The repair itself is excellent but the customer service was conflicting. I paid $329.84 and expected quality care. I do wish I had a better experience because it seems others do.

When I told him that I have been a customer for 10 years and that I bring them business every month, he mocked me; and when I pointed out that the Verizon store is right across the street, he invited me to take my business there instead. Got email next day saying there was remaining balance Called Customer Service again (65 min), fed up with poor service, demanded to talk to supervisor. After 4 different attempts to talk to supervisor, she finally got to phone. Said she would reverse the residual bill. I told her I wanted an address to file a formal complaint. She said she can't give me that address. Said she could file a complaint on my behalf. Like that would be accurate. I still have a disputed initial charge to my Credit Card that has not been resolved yet. Things could have been quick and easy had staff done their jobs correctly. Just a fair warning, if there is an issue, AT&T customer service locally and their "800" number may be totally incompetent or maybe just totally untrained. This has been an absolute disaster!!!

I prefer to get my pocket wifi before leaving for my trip so I dont have to worry about it once landing. I usually book online and get a phone confirmation. Pick up is a day before your trip at their Waikiki location. The only hard part is their pick up location, but if you bring a friend with you to wait in the car, it should be fine - or you could grab a bite in the Waikiki shopping plaza since you're already driving there! The wifi itself is easy to use. They explain to you when you pick up, but its all pretty self explanatory. The battery lasted pretty much the whole day if fully charged and is small enough to carry around with you all day without adding extra weight. You can return the wifi when you get back to Hawaii on the departures floor after getting your luggage. Would highly recommend booking for your next Japan trip!

The pocket WiFi was different from what we used before. It was newer, thinner, and lighter. The only downside was that there's no indication on how much battery is left. You need to scan the QR code sticker on the back of the pocket WiFi and the status will be shown on your phone. It is a little inconvenient and the website to show the status was pretty wonky and in Japanese. Regardless, the WiFi was good. The signal was great when we were visiting major cities such at Tokyo and Osaka. There was an issue with connecting when we first arrived but we reset the WiFi using the paper clip pin provided in the bag. The bag included instructions, paper clip, and charger. Overall, the WiFi signal is not perfect but it is good enough to last your whole trip in Japan without any major issues. It lasted about little over 10 hours on a full charge. The pocket WiFi is convenient and pretty affordable to share among 5 people without having slow data.

    Luxury electronics…read more.. IQ Gadgets is located in the International Marketplace on the second level overlooking the center grassy courtyard which one of favorite location of this mall. First thing you see are the giant bougie massage chairs and there already was a couple shopping in there that seem to have an interest in a product which of course has the salesperson very focused in a positive note I got to browse at my leisure as he basically didn't blink as I was walking around. With that I never got a greet or much attention and that didn't really bother me as I seriously was looking at some of their products which what seems to be majority targeting to the smart phone accessories...with chargers, headphones, car mount and battery cases. As I browsed further I came to realize a couple items I've seen at a craft/product show and have purchased a charger only for it to stop charging like it originally did and it wasn't cheap. As my older phone can't handle a day without a good charge I was talked into a product only for it to shop working and am sad but learned the hard way but hope that other products are good but I'm not willing to risk it.
