The kid doing the work confirmed that yes, it would take about 30 minutes. So i handed my phone over and did some shopping. I came back about 30 minutes later, and sure enough. The repair was complete. While i was waiting in line to pick up my phone. The Tech kid was explaining to customer when its a good time to replace the battery, and when to get rid of the phone. Found their conversation enlightening. I paid the $80, with a thank you, and out into the world i went. The only knock I would give them is the credit card "surcharge". Which I was told about at the very beginning. So if you go there to get your phone repaired. BRING CASH... I will definitely be a repeat customer.

I arrived to the location at around 12:30pm (time stamp in image.) I spoke to two employees. I talked to one employee that took a look at my iPad and confirmed the price and time to pick up (2 hours). I also confirmed again with the guy who managed the payment that it would take two hours. I show up around 4:45pm and no one greets me walking in. So I walk up (five minutes later) to the first employee and asked if the tablet is ready. She told me, "Oh you're early, I just have to put on the screen." It had been 2+ hours since I dropped off so I was confused but I said I will wait till they are done. I came back around 50 minutes later and the repair is not done yet. At this point it is already 5:45pm and it has not been finished. I wait until 6:18pm and she hands me it without apologizing for the wait or anything. I regret not saying anything about the time issue but it feels conflicting because of all the things I signed and I am not sure if I am in right to. The problem is not how long it takes, but it was the misinformation about when pick up would be. I confirmed with two people that it would be ready in two hours. It came out to almost 6 hours. I would not have minded dropping it off and coming back another time, if they had communicated that. But I was told it was 2 hours so I waited there, standing in the store and not wanting to rush the employees. The repair itself is excellent but the customer service was conflicting. I paid $329.84 and expected quality care. I do wish I had a better experience because it seems others do.

We had a short window of time due to a 1:30 pm lunch reservation but our salesperson was fast, efficient and completed the sale and we were able to leave with both the new and old phone. Need to return the old phone within 30 days so we are doing that today. Now hubs not only has an upgraded phone but a protective case, screen protector and charging block for his new toy which he is on ALL the time.

Poor customer support on the phone and I always need to go into a store after speaking to a rep for over an hour. If you are thinking of switching carriers be warned!!! AT&T is horrible. I am locked in for 36 months and I dont want anyone else to have to suffer through what Im going through. If you travel internationally, their roaming plan sucks. If you prefer apple care and want insurance, it is very different from Tmobile. I am only able to do a group insurance that covers only a couple phones at a time. It CRAP. No apple care. I highly discourage the switch to AT&T.

It was frustrating and a headache! It was highly recommended to make a reservation with the location that you plan to visit. The earliest appointment was for the next day Thursday March 26, 2026 at 5:45pm. I took the 7:00pm appointment and they close at 8:00pm. We walked in and the place was full of people. On the screen showed 32 people on the walk in wait list!! I checked in at 6:45pm for the 7:00pm which is the 15 minutes recommended on the iPad? 6:50pm, we were helped by SAGE a very friendly sales associate? He asked for an I.D and started the process of getting what we needed the replacements of the 2 cable boxes. SAGE talked and worked fast at the same time which made it go by so fast. It was a very nice and comfortable first experience. By 7:10pm and only in 20 minutes we were walking out the door with what we came for. We went home and set it up and it's all good again. Can watch tv again. Lol.

It goes without saying the offered promotion didn't post correctly to my account and I had to spend several hours on the phone with customer service fixing the stores mistake. BEWARE! During the sign up/trade in process the agents kept having "technical issues" with their iPads and he had to make multiple attempts to complete the transaction. Each time their iPads automatically select a box indicating you want insurance and marketing promotions. It's a scam... even when you verbally and physically deny both of these, the agents iPads automatically sign you up for both. It's very difficult to remove the non-mandatory insurance and marketing promotions afterwards and we felt very scammed by this nice bait and switch sign up process. Recommend doing all transactions online or with another Hawaii store.

Each of us needed a password to complete the factory reset (we should have done it at home where all the passwords live). Excruciating trying to execute this procedure in the hot lights of the store. We left unsuccessful. A couple days later we return and Rod (another former Verizon employee, rehired by this vendor) supported us. Confident, empathic, knowledgeable and patient. The iPhone was good to go but the Samsung needed more attention. The battery died before the reset was done but I was oblivious to that. Rod called me to let me know he would charge it try again. Extremely disappointing experience -- and even more disappointing response from management…read more We went to the Kahala location to have a cell phone screen replaced. Before beginning the repair, the staff looked up our account and then proceeded to remove the damaged screen and install a brand-new one. Only after the repair was completed were we told that they could not locate this particular phone on our account and that, as a result, we would have to pay to set up an entirely new account rather than pay the low-cost screen replacement fee we had expected. This should have been verified before anyone touched the phone. What happened next was even more frustrating. Rather than acknowledging their mistake and finding a reasonable way to make the situation right, we were told that the best they could do was remove the brand-new screen they had just installed and put our damaged screen back on. They did exactly that -- except the old screen could not be reapplied properly. It was returned to us full of air bubbles and in worse condition than when we walked into the store. So we came in with a damaged but usable screen and left minutes later with a phone in significantly worse condition, all because the store failed to verify our eligibility before beginning the repair. Mistakes happen. What determines whether I continue doing business with a company is how it responds when it makes one. An apology, acknowledgment of the error, and a reasonable effort by management to make things right would have gone a long way. Instead, there was no meaningful attempt to rectify a problem the store itself created. Had management handled this differently, they could have retained us as customers. Instead, this experience ensured the opposite.
