This store is completely scamming customers. We opened five business lines here, but they only transferred four lines from T-Mobile, which forced us to keep paying T-Mobile for two extra months. We were promised a very clear plan: two lines with new iPhones at $45/month and three lines without phones at $15/month. The total should have been around $190+tax. Instead, every month my bill has been over $250, and for two months it was over $400. On top of that, the store manager, Anthoney, personally promised us a $350 rebate face to face. It's been four months and we have received nothing. Every time we go back, they just give us excuses and no real solution. Never trust what their salespeople tell you. Once you see your bill, you will realize this store is nothing but a scam We are completely tired of dealing with this store's lies. We will be filing formal complaints against them. The worst people at this store. The so called assistant manager is unfriendly and talks over you even when your speaking. She has a really bad attitude as well and needs to be retrained on customer service. We spoke with the so called manager as well and he was also very unhelpful. It seems like the workers here dont really help anyone and are incompetent. They seem to stand around and hang out in the backoffice and take personal calls all day. I am extremely disappointed with this location. I purchased a phone via the internet. I purchased the iPhone 16 pro max and iPhone 14. When I went to pick up the phones they only had the 14 ready for pick up. They claimed that the order was scheduled for delivery . THIS WAS A LiE. Then they said oh we don't have the color i ordered. Then they canceled my order and all of sudden they go to the back and have the black color. This was done so they can get credit for the sale. I am still waiting for my refund. This Verizon has once again blown my socks off. I was eligible for an upgrade and decided bye bye, Blackberry; Hello, Droid. I strolled into this Verizon and was taken care of by Brian after waiting for only about 10 minutes or so. Brian was extremely helpful. He did my phonebook transfer right then and there (instead of making me wait for a tech) and also swapped out my memory cards. Activation and purchase was also a breeze. Went there on a Saturday to upgrade our phones. No one to take your name as you walk in and just saw everyone sitting around waiting. Went to the back and left our name. Was told there would be a 25 minute wait. Sat there for 40 minutes and was finally called. They asked for my phone number and told me we had a pending order and wouldn't be able to help us until they cancelled the pending order (which was only removing one iPad requested 2 weeks prior by phone). I went there to return a phone that I got from another Verizon store in Massapequa just the day before. The box wasn't open and the customer service representative said I could return to any Verizon Wireless store without a $50 restocking fee. Once entering the store the service ask what I was there for and took my name. He was not pleasant or engaging, I believe he was the store manager because he was consulted when I had an issue. He told me I had to wait and that was it. In a half hour it was my turn. I explained I picked up the phone in Massapequa yesterday and I no longer needed the phone. In the Massapequa store, I was told there was a 14 no question return policy and there was no restocking fee as long as the box was not opened. In this Jericho store they wanted to charge me the $50 restocking fee because I did not pick up the phone there. They told me to go back to the Massapequa store. I then ask them to help me activate a used phone my friend gave (reason why I'm returning the new phone). They said they could not help me because the new phone which has not been open is already activated to have my old cell and the Massapequa store had to do some program change to deactivate it. I went to the Massapequa store and they return the phone with no restocking fee. I asked them could I have returned to any corporate Verizon Wireless store like the one in Jericho and they said yes. I then asked them to activate my used phone. All they did was swap the SIM cards and I was done. Needless to say this store has horrible customer service. I'm giving this store two stars because they let you test out phones without too much of hassle. But this location (like so many Verizon Wireless outlets) is really hit or miss as far as employees go. Some of the personnel (managers, most likely) are very knowledgeable and helpful. Others can't even be bothered to look stuff up in the computer before giving you a price quote. They could at least *pretend* to be typing on the computer terminal before they conjure prices out of their imaginations. I guess working in a cell phone store is the 2011 version of working at McDonald's. You're either motivated to do a good job and want to advance yourself in life, or you're just killing time until you can clock out and go back to smoking dope in your parents' basement. My advice: call Verizon's 800 sales number to fact-check and get a second opinion before buying anything at this place. read more

There are people who just sell phones and call themselves technicians and there are people who know how the intricate details of a smartphone works. By far these people are completely useless. They read servicing manuals and call themselves technician. I was given complete unsatisfactory service. My screen has been cracked for months and I have never had a problem. This morning my phone started to reboot and restart over and over again. Since I am an engineer, and I have experience in automation, I told them all I need is a software reboot/reset. The girl and whomever she dealt with are complete imbeciles because at the end they resorted to tell me that since my phone is cracked that they couldn't do anything. Here's a lesson in phones, a broken digitizer does not imply a damaged LCD screen, each have a separate function. When a system restarts, giving it time to work, and keep the phone on, until it registers the reboot is how you make the phone work. If you don't have any skills or knowledge on servicing phones that you claim to have knowledge as, then please advertise yourself as a merchandise store and not a servicing store. Otherwise, leave it to the experts. If I had the ability to hard reset my phone I would have done it myself, and I would not have experienced unsatisfactory service.... and wasted my precious time. My time is valuable. FYI, I got my phone fixed in the last 10 minutes of leaving there, compared to the 45 minutes it took for them to completely do what they want and think they know what they are doing better than me. If I could give FIOS zero stars I would. I cannot wait for my contract to end and return to Optimum/Cablevision! I paid my bill in CASH at a Verizion kiosk in Jericho, and my account was never credited. Verizon's attitude is "tough sh*t! Pay the $ (AGAIN!!) or we'll terminate service!" I never had this problem with Optimum. So if Verizon cancels the service, I'll re-sign with Optimum. Then Verizon will bill me for an "early termination fee" when THEY cancelled the service. read more

I came to this Verizon store b/c I was having a problem with my phone. The store was completely empty. Right away it was like I was bothering them with my questions about my phone. Every response they gave they was with attitude and a demeaning tone. I asked them " whats with the attitude I just want to get my phone fixed or purchase a new one?" Verizon FIOS.... What can I say? Service is mediocre. Sooooo many channels, even more "COMMERCIALS". To the point that "On Demand" has COMMERCIALS. VERIZON collects fees for services, TAXES for those services and then triple dips (to the tune of billions) for ALL the COMMERCIALS that interrupt the visual experience they sell all of us. I just received a $100 bill for equipment that was not required to be returned as per the associate during the initial contact for an issue where the Verizon router would fail to retain the proper ip address. Good thing I retained the router, as this bill arrived 2 months after the replacement router was received. The router being replaced was from a prior account for which Verizon did not request the return of this item only the boxes and remotes. Called Verizon, they are shipping a return label. Last Monday, I went into the store because my LG Voyager wasn't holding a charge. I waited 45 minutes only to be helped by a guy (I think his name was Jamal) who seemed more interested in his coworkers dinner plans than helping me. I asked if there was any way he could do a quick charge on my battery, he said no. he didn't even take the back off the phone to look at it, instead he just hit the keyboard a few times and said "I ordered you a replacement phone, it'll be there in 2 business days." Fast forward to Friday when I went to the VZ store in Westbury before going to Apple to buy an iPhone since I still hadn't gotten my replacement phone. Thanks to some great associates there, we found out the truth: the order for my replacement phone was never even placed! There weren't even any notes in the system, and when the Westbury guys called the Jericho store, no one even picked up! 3 phone calls later, they finally got someone but were given a "oh, yeah man I don't know what happened" answer and were hung up on. The service at this store SUCKS. Go there if you feel like waiting for an hour only to be treated like garbage and not have your service tended to. read more

This place employs a bunch of lazy people. I stopped by tonight to get a replacement phone and when my name was called to see the tech support guy (Jim) it was 20 minutes to closing (he guy looked and acted miserable - like a DMV employee) he asked a few questions then told me "your model is not in stock in our warehouse so you have to call Verizon and have them send you a new one". So I asked why he couldn't put that order in himself on his computer...his response was "we are closing in 10 minutes". Seriously????? I don't know why people work at jobs they hate...if you hate your job that much as refusing to do your work, you should quit. Terrible waste of my time and my money. Why am I paying Verizon all this money when I can't even get decent service at one of their stores. It would have only taken this guy a couple of minutes to put the order in. Terrible customer service! The employees here make Verizon Wireless look like an incompetent business. I understand the employees specialize in particular customer support, but what I don't understand is how they can stand in a group in the middle of the store, chatting amongst themselves while 2 employees are running around helping ppl and there are about 5 customers still waiting for service. Sorry! If i could give no starts i definitely would. I came to the store because i was having a problem with my phone and the screen and battery. he gave me some advice that i could have looked up on Google. Then, while i was there i figured i should buy a phone case. I asked for a certain otter box i recently bought at the store when i first got my phone. He handed me a phone case and said " this is the one". Now, i have a 6s plus iphone , not iphone 7. I said "Well the camera on the back is much different between the two versions, the case was slightly covering my 6s plus camera. he said "no its totally fine they are exactly the same case and they are meant to work for both phones". ERM NOT. Clearly if you knew the phones you were selling you would know that the iphone 7 does NOT have a headphone jack, and my 6s plus does. so i was pretty furious when i couldnt plug in my ear phones on my airplane ride. i had to remove the entire case and i had no protection on my phone. Make sure you go with your own instincts because some of these workers at this location do not know what they are selling. ALWAYS know what you are selling to someone especially if it costs a good amount of money! I never have time to go to the store and go back so i wasted 30 bucks. thanks verizon in hicksville. I went here twice, once in August and once in December. I don't know too much about smartphones but I would have liked to learn a little more since I'm considering upgrading to one. The salesmen don't even get up from behind the counter. Seriously? Spent 45 minutes to get my new phone I purchased at Best Buy activated to my Verizon account. They couldn't get it done, just kept re-entering same info over and over for all this useless time, then I was told it would take 24 hours to go through..NOT, so I left puzzled and got online in Verizon Chat and they activated my new phone in 10 minutes. These Yahoo's don't know squat about their products or service, SOME are hired morons who just go through the motions without any clue. Including the Manager that day... After my 3rd trip to the store in one week, I was finally able to demonstrate how my 4 month old Google Pixel phone is not working - or as they put it its 'fritzing'. Calls do not go through in or out, the screen flickers, blinks and blacks out... but enough about the phone,, which I know is a Google problem. I was told a replacement would be sent to me overnigh for delivery on Saturday. OK perfect, very happy - except when the end of Saturday comes and no phone. When I called the store first I was told to check my email for the 'tracking" # - but I never got one. Then I was told "Oh', the phone is actually coming Tuesday - which now raises another problem. I work - who doesn't really? _ and no one is home to sing. It's already been shipped and I can't change the delivery address. Why Not? no one could answer. I printed out everything in advance including a flyer for $200 credit for trading in phone($100 in gift card) and porting in ($100 bill credit) so we both know we are on the same page. They said their system is down so I'll see both as a bill credit. NOT!!!! I had to fight for that $100 they should of given me as a gift card. Who needs that stress??? In the end a Verizon rep had to call the store to resolve it and I got my $200 credit but it was a pain to get done. What an awful experience. Went there to upgrade my phone and when I got there I was told that I was the first person on the list and it would be about 5 minutes. Okay, no problem. We waited for about 25 minutes and out of the 6 or so incompetent employees there only one of them came up to us and she only did customer service and not sales. Great. Then we were greeted by a creepy and awkward employee selling Verizon Fios. No thanks, we don't want your product and don't live in the area. Then we asked how much longer it would be and they said 10 more minutes or so. Waiting for 25-30 minutes in addition to these 10 minutes, no thanks. We left without a phone. Do yourself a favor and go to the apple store, i'm sure service is much better there. read more

I would Not recommend this store to anyone. I was treated very poorly by the manager Seth himself. He seems to just look at people and judge them for what they are wearing. I asked him for help several times until the point i was frustrated. He lied straight to my face when i asked him for help.
