I didn't ask for the screen to be replaced, but a non-OEM screen on my phone may have helped explain some of its crappy behaviors. However, with this visit, I have to say Fix Me Now hit it out of the park. First off, over the phone, they quoted me a price that was much lower thank the competition in Commack. Secondly, when I went in, they found me in their system as having been a repeat customer. Finally, after the work was done to perfection (after about an hour's wait), the phone worked great, the charging port was like new, and they even knocked off $5 off the quoted price for being a repeat customer. I messaged them on Yelp and they were very responsive. They also had the lowest quote and fastest delivery time compared to other places which told me about 1-2 weeks. I went in to put a deposit so that they could order the screen for me. 4 days later they messaged me and told me I can come in to fix my screen. When i went in there, they said it'll take like 40 minutes to fix so I decided to have lunch around the area and came back for my phone afterwards. Phone screen was fixed. New screen is responsive to touch. Color is not bad either altho there is a small spot on the screen which is somewhat brighter. Its not really noticeable for me so I don't really care. Phone screen protector and case was supposed to be free, but since they don't normally carry Huawei products, I got a free case for my sister instead who had a Samsung phone.

I took my Iphone 6 Plus here because my original quote through yelp for this place was the most reasonable. When I went to actually get the work done, the man I met with said that the home button needed to be replaced as well. This brought the price up by $30. Okay fine. Only thing is, he failed to tell me that the replacement button 1. Would not function the same as the original 2. Would not support touch ID. I got my phone back and not only did the home button not work, but the sensor (near the front camera) did not work either. Whenever, I made a call and placed the phone to my ear, it would not know to turn the screen off, so I ended up "ear dialing" other contacts while already on the phone. I took the phone back complaining about the issues and the gentleman who repaired it insisted that I had had some prior repairs which contributed to the sensor not working. He also said he forgot to tell me that touch ID would not work on the replacement home button. He offered to put my old screen back on and return my money. He sifted through cracked screens and produced what he insisted was my original cracked screen. It was not my screen, my screen was so destroyed that it could not be reattached. This was why I was so confused that he would offer to put it back on. After saying repeated that the mildly cracked screen he had pulled out was "100 percent" my original screen, I asked him to look again. He finally found my actual screen which had chunks of glass falling off(as I remembered it) and said oh, okay, here is your screen. When he pulled off the new screen, he found that there was a sticker covering the sensor and that was why it was not working. He apologized and asked if I wanted to proceed with putting the old screen back on now that he'd realized the issue. I told him it was fine to keep the new screen on, as long as the sensor worked correctly. All in all it was a huge hassle, and I have to press home repeatedly AND hold my phone at a certain position to get it to turn on from sleep mode. Hopefully, I'll never be in an emergency situation where I need my phone to make a call right away.

The technician fixed it right away and did not charge extra. While I was waiting, the cashier at the front also searched around to give me a complementary case for my phone. This was totally unexpected. I have heard horror stories about cellphone repair stores. I was pleasantly surprised. Both the cashier and the technician were very courteous and my phone has been working well for the past month. I highly recommend this place. Note that they accept cash only. I saw a Venmo picture so they may accept that as well but it is better to check.
