I went in to get my new phone, and was told I could leave as everything was syncing to my phone, and it would continue as I reconnected to wifi. It didn't. I returned to the store and he muffled 'ug it always does that.' ...why in the world would you have me leave then, if it always does that? Three days later, my photos still have not downloaded fully. Went in to see if they could help. Was told they were there, but would take probably a week to fully download. ...it's been 3 days and I haven't had any progress. They said it only works with wifi..I'm a stay at home mom, who is always connected to wifi. I went in Monday December 22 to upgrade from my iPhone 13 Pro Max. Apparently you don't activate your new phone or anything in store anymore so I had to go home to do so, which isn't an issue. I got home, opened the iPhone and started the transfer process and it went great. A little while later on that night I noticed I had received the pro model not pro max like I had asked and was told I was getting. Fast foreword to the next day and I went back in after work and explained the situation, the worker went into the back to grab the iPhone 17 pro max but they apparently didnt have any. The worker informed me of that which wasn't a big deal, I'll go to a different AT&T store to get the correct model that I had asked for and was told I was getting originally. The worker then informed me that since the box was opened and I had used it (there's no way to tell which model was in the box to me, no markings of the model) that I would have to pay $50 for a restocking fee or something along those lines. I was immediately upset, I had just been lied to about getting the pro max version originally (store didn't have any) and was convinced into adding the Apple Watch to my plan w the new iPhone. The original worker must've known they didn't have the pro max and still proceeded to move along w the upgrade and convinced me to get the watch also to get a sale and cut of commission on the sale which was messed up from the get go. I do not recommend this store, they do not care if you get the correct phone you're wanting and then will continue to screw you out of money for a return on their own screw up. I will never be returning to this store and am thoroughly upset with how they handled everything. I'd give a 0 star review if possible. I was told today it's impossible to return the $1,000 fee. I was not happy and called customer service, the rep through Verizon was helpful & told me to go back to the store as they can refund me. The "manager" was extremely rude to myself and the Verizon rep. She even told me they would not help me & told me to leave, even after the Verizon rep was willing to walk her through the process. Customer service unfamiliar with policies and will send you back and forth. For the 2 years we were with them. I spent around 8 hours on the phone with customer service reps and 3 hours in store to try to resolve various issues. The insurance rep that T-Mobile contracts with left me on hold I went to the T-Mobile store and the general manager got through and resolved my issue while I was still waiting on hold for over an hour. Current manager was not helpful staff underneath her knew more of company policy thank you she did
