I had broken my phone and was beyond devastated. When arriving at Verizon there was a bit of a wait that wasn't too long. Once with an associate named Alexa who is new to this location but not new to Verizon. She had transferred from another location . She went above and beyond with explaining everything and giving me the best possible deal for my family usually, there's nothing but men workers, but the diversity of a woman there made me feel more comfortable. And she was very kind and patient with me especially with my 1 million questions that I had. Then the guy had an attitude and I was trying to joke with him about state IDs the digital ones being state law and he got very offensive and very rude and was like I don't care what you say it's not when I was just joking around with him, it just seems like the guy had an issue to begin with. I would give this 0 stars if I could!!! Stay away from this store!! They will rip you off, change your plan and add charges that you did not approve. We went in for a simple upgrade with a promotion. Promotion was to receive 1/2 off the IPhone 13 so instead of getting $350 off we got a $100 credit for the used phone. Then they added the insurance without our permission and changed my plan. Now my $148 month bill is over $200. I tried to call but their number is forwarded to the customer service line. Customer service tried to assist but could not Reverse the charges and told us to go back to the store to dispute the charges. I have been a loyal Verizon customer since 1997 but now I think it's time to change carriers if this is how they treat loyal customers. Beyond mad!! read more

As someone who climbs VZW towers daily and risks their life to make their network work It's like a slap in the face. Visit 1 - The guy says my phone isn't ready yet, offers zero explanation but that's fine, I did come early - I'll take most of the blame for that one. Visit 2 - Girl tells me that I need to be "on the list" in order to pick up my phone. Offers no help, is rude. Visit 3 - Well now girl tells me I need to be a MANAGER on the account to pick up my phone. Visit 4 - My account is a manager account. Girl says only my phone number is a manager not my name. Are you kidding me? Visit 5 - Still no good, girl is very rude. till no dice at store. Girl is very rude. Visit 6 - Still no good at store, called again, went into store and girl is very rude again. At no point did I raise my voice, yell, swear, or be disrespectful to those two employees. The girl was especially rude, interrupting me at every turn and she in fact raised her voice on visit 4 or so. This took 3/4 of my Sunday away.. Professionalism is something this branch lacks. They need to have consequences for these actions, purposefully withholding information so I'd make more trips. This is NOT OK. Especially as a VZW climber but really no one else should get treated that way either! Please do something about this branch. I'd like to have a follow up to know that something has changed here. We arrived at this Lakewood location Verizon last night, 2/1/21, around 5:40. An employee came outside and reminded us that they closed at 6, but that they could help us get a new phone, since we already knew which one. Next, someone else came out to help us. I said I needed a new phone and that my old one didn't work at all. As soon as they found out I was not the head of the account, they just said that my mom(head of account) had to order the phone online and MAIL it to me. They told me that was the only alternative to her being physically present. This wasn't an issue with my last phone, though. I have the PIN though - does that work? apparently NO. Can you just call my mom on her verizon phone number, and have her verify? apparently NO. To make things worse, while my boyfriend and I were stunned and had more questions, this verizon employee said something like "ok guys, well, have a good night!" without letting us say anything, and just went inside the store to close it. Didn't ask us if we needed anything else. It was clear this employee DID NOT want to go through the hassle of giving me a new phone, simply because it was near 6pm. Guess what! We went to the Best Buy down the street immediately after this. I purchased a full-price phone, case, screen protector, etc. All because your employee was rude, and couldn't make time to just sign me up for a new phone. This store is completely ridiculous in its customer service and professionalism. They sold me a watch with my phone a few months ago, and told me it would be $13/ month over however many months. I could turn in my old watch for a $200 credit so that the watch only cost like $250. Sounded great. Then according to them, I didn't set up my watch correctly for a "line of service", so 3 months into using the watch, I am charged almost $500 on my bill for the full price of the watch. Customer service over the phone told me they had never seen this before and the terms of my agreement looked incorrect. They told me I needed to go into the store and talk to management about a refund for the $200 watch credit at the very least. Management basically blamed it on me for not setting up the watch correctly, one of the associates stated that a seasoned rep would not have made a mistake with not going over the additional $10/month line of service charge, and that I was basically going to have to eat the cost of the $500 bill and the fact that they basically stole my old, perfectly functioning watch without any actual credit. I was never explained to that a line of service meant cellular data or what that should look like on my watch, which they also blamed on me. My previous one did not have data so I didn't see any deficiency in it. I would not have gotten a new watch for $23/month, but $13/seemed reasonable. They showed no empathy or concern for my situation. I am not a confrontational person but this situation was infuriating. I will be switching carriers and not looking back, as soon as my monthly payments for my phone are up. read more

Ben at this location acts like he is a God with both his words and how he looks at you (He has that dumbass look on his face with almost everything you ask or say to him) You can tell as you sit and listen to them as others walk thru the door to get assistance. Simply watch and observe if you do not believe me. It feels to me that there is wayyy too much testosterone going thru the air at such a small and busy location. It also seems to me they see who can be the biggest asshat there on any given day. I've never given any business one star, but this Verizon store is my exception. The customer service was so bad it made me want to switch to another cell phone provider. The abbreviated version of this review - do not waste your time at this store, just order your stuff online. It ended up being time for me to upgrade my phone, and I was really excited. I went to this Verizon store to try out new phones and to see what my options were. One of the employees approached me and said he could help me decide on a new phone. I'm guessing he needed to meet a certain quota because the whole time he kept trying to get me to buy a tablet, wireless speaker, and other accessories. I told the employee that I just wanted to trade in my old phone to get credit towards the payment plan for a new phone. He told me that the trade in credit could only be used on accessories and that it could not go towards the payment of my new phone. He also told me I could only use the credit in store. I should've known better, but I stupidly believed him and got a bunch of accessories and went home. Side note, in the middle of the sale his girlfriend came into the store with breakfast and got mad that I was talking to him, super awkward...just needed some help buying a phone. At home, I did some more research and found out that I was lied to. I immediately drove back to the store and explained what I was told and what happened. The cashier told me there was nothing he could do and that the credit was now used up so it was irreversible. I refused to leave until they took back all the accessories and applied the credit to my account. Although I'm grateful I got the credit back, I should not have had to waste so much time convincing them to do it. To top it all off, a week later a store manager texted me to say they heard there was an issue with my purchase. If you're trying to work on customer service and you know there is an issue, it's a better idea to actually call. I texted back and explained what happened and the manager then asked what they could do to fix it. I told them I would appreciate a discount on my next bill or something free. I told them I was thinking of leaving Verizon because I was lied to, I almost lost a bunch of money, I was angry, and so much time was wasted. They texted back and said that they already refunded my items and that's all they could do, but if it made me feel better, they would talk to the employee who sold me the stuff so he didn't do it again. Sure, that makes me feel better for the next person who comes in, but that doesn't help me. Why ask me how the situation can be fixed if there is nothing you will actually do? Bought the IPhone 15 four days ago. it was supposed to be blue and they gave me white. It took 4 days to port my number over after the order had been cancelled twice (by Verizon). One of those canceled orders was after I had picked up the iPhone. Then when the number finally did port, I was at work and lost my call. Had to drive 40 minutes home to get my iphone 15, restart it so it would connect to service. Then I've had nothing but problems with the functionality of the phone, like not connecting to Apple car play and making calls when I asked for directions. After I called apple support I was told I should take it to Verizon and they should be able to fix my issue. When I get to Verizon, on Wadsworth in Lakewood, I tell the guy at the front what my issue is and what I've tried to do to fix it so far, and letting him know they gave me the wrong color phone. What I was told by him is " Doesn't sound like a carrier issue so I'm not sure what we can do for you. But I can get you on the list and when someone is available they can take a look." Literally about to cancel everything and go back to my IPhone 11, which functioned better than this phone. read more

Turns out they were just checking people in to ensure the store was abiding by social distancing guidelines. After waiting approximately 15 minutes outside in the rain someone came up to assist us. We explained that we wanted to switch over to Verizon and would like to find out more about the plans and possibly get new devices. Surprisingly we were told that we would be allowed to enter the store but if another customer showed up one of us (my wife or I) would need to vacate the store and wait outside so they could prioritize another deal. What?? We both were interested in becoming Verizon customers! I wanted to pick my own new phone and so did she. We would like to know more about its plans and discuss together which one fits us best. My overall feeling was that they were doing "a favor" in seeing us. So I hope this review can be helpful to other customers. Had everything I could ask for in a Verizon store. But then again I don't ask for too much. I appreciated that Verizon greets people right away and puts you on a waiting list to speak to someone. It allowed me to wander around the store and also try out that new google virtual reality device. Workers at the store were friendly and helpful for the most part. As much as they can be for someone who lost their phone. Not too pushy either to try and sell me stuff. Only a couple of benches to sit on though and the store seemed a bit smaller than the typical Verizon store. read more

I purchased a new iPhone at this location last year. It didn't work well, it dropped calls and had garbled voice reception. Verizon wouldn't replace it as it had been three weeks since purchase (I had been told I had 30 days to bring it back by the rep who sold it to me). They sent me 15 miles away to have it tested. There was a 3 hour wait to talk to someone. It was tested and I was told there's nothing wrong with it. A couple of frustrating weeks I returned to Verizon and the manager said he would trade the phone for another. The 2nd phone also garbled voices with calls to different locations from different locations. I lived with it in frustration and finally after one year, I went back to Verizon and bought another iPhone. Be advised that the year of payments I made for the garbage phone ($420) could not applied to the new phone. I purchased a new phone at full price. I also purchased a screen guard with the phone. Verizon reps will not put it on for you. They said it takes special training to apply it to the phone and none of the reps are authorized. I would have to go to a location 40 minutes away to have someone apply it. Finally, a rep did put it on .. the next day it started to bubble and peel up. Verizon won't give you another guard ($30 value). I ordered it and the Verizon rep agreed to put it on again. Again it bubbled up. Back to Verizon, and the manager refused to do anything. Just said to buy another and go to FlatIrons and have someone put it on. What kind of business is this to send customers 40 miles away to apply a screen guard? And it takes training to put it on? Management was rude. I will never use this Verizon store again. read more

After the second employee I had to find to even look at my new Google Pixel 3a XL phone confirmed my software glitch issue as true, she then told me they "don't download into new phones." So, I took my new replacement Google phone to the Wheat Ridge store and the manager, Andrew, cheerfully downloaded all my data from the Google lemon. I'm disappointed to have to update this review and to drop 2 stars. Unfortunately, my account was edited incorrectly upon the sale, and I've received overbilling charges (the associate left my old plan in place and charged me for the new plan) for 2 months. I've spent about 2.5 hours on 4 calls with Verizon to remedy the billing problems. Verizon refuses to refund money when they've overcharged. They claim it's not possible to credit the money back to your credit card, and instead only offer credit to your account. Apparently they are the only major company who cannot refund, unless you buy a product at the store and return it... My experience at this store had been positive, but the job was not completed and resulted in frustration, wasted time, and expending more money upfront than planned. I'm very disappointed that this is how everything ended up. read more

It all went very smoothly and they didn't push too hard to do the monthly payment scheme.. but then I found out this morning that my phone wont make calls?? They never set up the actual phone service on my phone. All they did was sign into my iCloud so I could send messages when connected to WiFi. So I had to go online myself and figure out how to activate it!! WHY go to a store with people if they can't even do the job? What good is a phone that isn't activated to connect to phone towers? I can't believe I'm forced to even give them one star. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL. I truly regret switching from AT&T. I walked into the store fully prepared to sign a contract, buy an iPhone and leave with a smile and a new toy! Unfortunately I was not greeted (everybody else was) and once I approached the dude with the tablet he reluctantly helped me after hearing that my boyfriend wanted to pay for the phone with a credit card from Utah he said no they could not do that, then called over another rep who said the same thing and then the manager (a tall blonde guy) who confirmed that no they could not accommodate us. I would have paid for the phone out of pocket! They were just so rude and never offered any assistance or way to resolve the matter effectively. Nor were they apologetic! I went out and sat in my car in tears of frustration on the phone with my BF cursing my decision to join his family plan to save money instead of just sticking with my current plan. So we ordered a phone from customer care who filed several complaints about this store, they over nighted it for free and I was happy when it arrived. Not even 24 hours later the brand new phone's screen starts to flicker and seize up. Of course at this point I'm panicking. My phone is linked to my business and I need it so clients can make appointments. Customer care was very nice but you have to pay for another phone in order to have another sent, we had already shelled out 200$ and couldn't afford to do it a second time so customer care recommended we try to switch out the phone in a store. However the stores are not required to do this. But they called this store before I walked in and confirmed that they would switch out the phone. I walked in 5 minutes after hanging up with the phone rep and told the store they had a phone on hold for me. The rep takes my broken phone to the manager (same tall blonde d-bag) and 15 minutes later he emerges to tell me that there is nothing wrong with my phone the battery was just dead. My response is "customer care already talked to you, give me the new phone." What a snobby a-hole. So he reluctantly hands over the new phone, doesn't thank me for being a customer and I walked out vowing to never go back in that store short of it being the zombie apocalypse and it's the only place for shelter. Even then I think I would rather become a member of the undead army then be within 20 feet of this place! read more

I was to take it home and would be able to activate at home. HE LIED.Three hours later talked to the call center who had to walk be through what should have been done in store. Do not go to this store, there staff is too lazy to do their Job. The day I purchased this phone we called the store left a message for the manager to call us, but he never did. Stopped by last night because the newest plans are better than my old carrier (even with a discount). I also found coverage is better from researching what works best in the Denver metro area and in the mountains. This had been the third Verizon store we had been to within the last week. The goal was to bring my phone from the other carrier and combine a data plan with my SO. At this point, we were not looking forward to another interaction with a Verizon store associate. The customer service at this location was so much better than the Park Meadows and Colorado Boulevard "Evolution" locations. Unlike the Park Meadows location, we experienced help and respect, and unlike the Colorado boulevard location, we did not have to wait 20 minutes just to be acknowledged. The moment we walked in Shaw acknowledged and greeted us just as you would want to be treated. You know, like potential customers whom he could be of service. Shaw took the time to walk us through the details of the service and products without any sales pressure or patronizing demeanor. He and the management team worked together to find us the best possible deal! All the employees at this location seemed to have great rapport with each other and the customers. Thank you to Shaw and the Management Team at this store for making our shopping experience actually enjoyable. We definitely will do business with this location and its employees for any future wireless needs. read more
