Sandeep was amazing. We kinda came in late on a Friday night and we sat down at a table and he answered ALL and I mean ALL of our "old people" questions Lol (we really are t that old, late 40's-50s). He was so helpful. My husband and I were both needing to upgrade our phones and he explained everything about the options we had. It was easy to make a decision with his knowledge. We also bought a plethora of accessories and he brought options (if there were any) for each of us to choose from. That was true customer service. Sandeep in my opinion went above and beyond helping us. We spent a good amount of change at the T-Mobile store. He made us feel like we made good informed choices and we don't regret any of them 24 hours later. We are so happy with our new phones and all the fun stuff to go with them. I also need to get my mother's phone updated as well and I will be making sure we make an apt with Sandeep. Sandeep is a perfect example of what every customer service rep should be! I went in yesterday to get help with my phone. I got a salesperson who did not even want to help me out. I went to T-Mobile at 7850 W. Alameda Ave. STE A. I have been with this company for 30 years and have never had this poor of customer service. He did not want to transfer anything over to my new phone. He said that I had to sit there and basically set up because he had me connected to store Wi-Fi and try to transfer over things on my own. I asked for the manager, and he basically supported this poor behavior of this employee. Unfortunately, I left very disappointed. I was able to walk into another store, and the salesperson got me all set up. you can really tell that the employees hate their job! I went in trying to upgrade my phone to the iPhone 14, right away I am informed that they do not have it in stock and only have the iphone 13. so I settle for the iPhone 13. The sales associate then try's to tell me that they can take the trade in and I have to purchase the phone right out. I asked if I can finance the phone and right h became snappy and I help ful. he then proceeded to walk to back room. when he came out he informed me that they do not carry any iphones and can not help me. I requested if he can direct me to a location that does carry iPhones in stoke or if i can order one. he told me no, that he can not provide me with that information and to go to a different location. read more

After many years of using Verizon and a few other phone services, my family switched to T-Mobile. They had a special rate for military vets, as well as generally good prices on a good plan with unlimited data and a mobile hot spot from our phones. This not only gets us affordable phone service, but eliminates any need to pay for a separate internet provider. We set up our service and bought phones at this location. I've been into the location several times since then and have had good customer service every time, even when just asking questions about our service. My only complaint with T Mobile is their app, both the app to pay the bill and the "T Mobile Tuesday" app. They rarely work correctly, the billing app only working about half the time and the Tuesday app just being generally worthless in general. I usually end up paying the bill on the website. read more

Make sure you record your conversations with employees telling you what they are charging you. Was told adding a line would be a certain price and my bill would not exceed a certain amount. Come to find out that the sales person just wanted the sale and did not do the transaction as stated. Now I am getting the run around from the store telling me at this person will call and now another person will call essentially passing the buck hoping it becomes washed. They state it's a he said she said case hence the need to record all conversations for future use. Sprint was far better in their customer service and leaves T-Mobile lacking with their run around. read more

It all started when I went into this store last year and one of the sales reps gave me advice to hold off on buying a new device because the G2 was coming. I've been stalking the release of the new Google 2 phone for months now. It's a sickness that has no World Health Organization classifcation - yet. I even watched as HTC filed documents with the FCC to get the physical device (released in Europe as the "HTC Magic" under Vodaphone UK, to be exact) approved for sale and usage. June 15th came and went. Still no phone. The tension grew. I started eating cupcakes in anticipation of using Google's Android upgrade (called Cupcake). I figured, since T-Mobile is the exclusive retailer for this phone, maybe this store would be able to give me additional insight. And because it WAS the sales rep before who had helped provoke my stalkerish behavior in the first place. But sadly, he wasn't there. The only thing the new sales representative said was, "I think you know more about phones in general more than I do. Sorry, I can't help." I thought, "Then what the f*ck are you doing working for a mobile phone company?" Instead I said, "I think someone's been downloading porn onto all of your PDAs." And now, pre-sales of the G2 have begun. I was happy, for a few nanoseconds. Then I realized, T-Mobile charges AN UPGRADE FEE. Not only do you have to wait 2 painstaking years to get to the moment of sweet glory to get a new phone - they charge you $18 extra just to congratulate your patience. So now I'm going to wait until this thing is either on Craigslist, Samsung releases its own version or my contract runs out in September and I can get the iPhone with AT&T. Wouldn't recommend this store if you're a serious tech geek like me. It's nice to wander around if you're not. Just be careful to avoid the porn. read more

Jorge C. was extremely helpful and patient with me when helping me back up my new Iphone. I have been a Tmobile customer forever, and never was treated with as much courtesy as I did this day. I was in Portland Oregon the week before and wanted to purchase a phone, but walked out since the girl was "not too friendly". My last experience with upgrading to a new Iphone was less than a disaster. I am unsure if it was my wireless service, but it literally took me all day to back it up. Hence, I went to T-mobile this time because I thought the process would be quicker. Jorge immediately asked if I needed help and I told him I had already purchased the phone, I just needed assistance with backing up the data to the new one. Without hesitating, he asked for my number and immediately began to work on it. Backing up the phone did take a while, but not all day. I sat in the back of the room where I waited until the process was done. In the meantime, Jorge would check on me and the phone and even offered to "babysit" my phone if I wanted to leave and come back. I did go get a coffee across the street (by then he earned my trust to babysit), and that helped the time pass faster. In closing, he could have been rude and told me that I could have done this on my own at home (because I didn't purchase the phone there) even though I am a Tmobile customer. I was with T Mobile for 10+ years when I decided to leave them for another Co. I called to find out if I was under any contract, I was told that I wasn't under any contract so a couple of weeks later I joined another co. A few wks after that I get a bill from T Mobile saying I owed them $113.00 for breaking my contract.. Don't get T Mobile you don't get service in many areas and they don't have reliable phone help. I know they taped the call I made to them, so they know that I did call and what I was told. read more

If I could give them 0 stars I would! This is the WORST cell service ever! I switched from Verizon thinking I could save some money. I had T-mobile service for 8 months and during that time had to be shipped 4 different phones. The phones constantly drop calls, freeze up and have to be hard-booted. Each time this happens, you have to reset up your phone. With the last phone, they had great difficulty transferring contacts from one of their phones to another. I ended up with duplicates of every contact (over 600!) plus had 35+ that didn't ever make the transition and had to be reentered. When I finally went back to Verizon, I was charged over $400. $200 for a cancellation fee and $200 for paying the remainder of the phone off. I verified several times with the agent on the phone that only the $200 cancellation fee would be charged. I wrote to T-mobile, explaining all of the problems and asking for a waiver of either the cancellation fee or the phone fee. Their only response is that they don't guarantee coverage and I had 30 days to return the faulty phone. On top of everything else, when they send you a replacement phone, they send you a refurbished one. So you start out with a new phone, get 3 refurbished ones that don't work and then end up paying for the new phone that never worked properly. Never ever do business with T-mobile!! read more
