Going in on Black Friday you'd imagine that it's be chaotic and you wouldn't be able to get the help that you needed. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with a smile! I told them my needs and wants and how I wanted to make the switch from AT&T. Morgan who handles business accounts helped with explaining the pro and cons of each unlimited data plans. Matt also helped with finding out how much we would get for our phones trade ins. With discussing our options we walked out with a new phone, new plans, and a smile on our faces! Matt and Morgan were knowledgeable and I'd they didn't know the answer they went to someone who did and for answers! We're very happy with the change! read more

Never have I been so embarrassed or degraded as I was yesterday at Verizon store. After 1 2/3 hours, Some unknown [to me] decied I was fraudulent and could not purchase a phone. I am a 77 year old widow who has been vetted by better people than this foreign person, whom English is not his first language. I have worked for police departments, volunteered and headed several non profits to include March of dimes, Relay for life, etc. This was not done face to face, but on the phone to my sales person who was awesome. Who then repetaed outloud in front of my friend and people in the store what was said. Not only did this smear my name but also my husband's name whom I proudly carry. The Husband who was a decorated Veteran, and in his law enforcement capacity started E911 for Jefferson County and has worked with Inetrnational and national agencies. Disgusted by my trip to this store on 4/19/2024. We came in to buy a new phone outright. Which we did. We worked with Christopher. We declined all the extra stuff they offer. Then when signing the receipt I noticed the monthly bill had increased $17. I asked about this before signing, he said "oh the that's the cost of the phone monthly, but that will drop off when your payment clears". That seemed odd to me but payments systems can be weird so I took him at his word. Two days later I get a Welcome to your device protection plan email and had to then go through the hassle of cancelling it. So this PoS Christopher not only signed us up for the protection plan after we clearly declined it, he then lied to our faces when his scam was discovered. Signed me up for new phone, paid for it in full and they never reported it to verizon so I am being charged 36months for "new equipment" so I am currently paying for this phone twice. After reading the recent reviews, I was quite nervous to come here. However, I am so happy I did. If I hadn't, I wouldn't be writing this on my brand new phone right now! I came into Verizon about a week and a half ago with an interest in changing carriers and upgrading my phone. The kindest man named Rich helped me out. This was my first experience handling anything about phones on my own, and Rich was so amazing throughout the whole process. When I left after my first visit, he gave me a quote and made sure I understood everything that was on there. He answered all of my questions and treated me like an equal. He did not make me feel guilty for leaving without purchasing anything. It was honestly quite refreshing to experience such phenomenal service. When I came back for the second time, after reviewing on my own, I decided to make the purchase and asked for him again. He treated me with all the same respect and kindness as I have mentioned previously. When going through the paperwork process, he continually answered my questions and once again, made sure I understood every cost that I was/would be charged. Rich was the most thoughtful, helpful, and friendly person ever. Highly recommend him!! read more

All of the negative reviews are correct -- this place is incompetent and unprofessional. We went in there to get a phone for my wife. There were four employees in there and only one other customer besides us. Then another woman walked in, and she was being helped, but even though there were two free employees, we still weren't being helped for nearly 20 minutes. I asked a guy named Eddie why. He became rude. I told him I would tape him because I wanted Verizon corporate to know about this. He walked away and brought out another guy, named TJ, who was even more belligerent and demanded that we leave. He then told me Verizon corporate security would check my phone. In other words, we have to leave and have Verizon track our phones because these guys won't do their jobs? Unbelievable. Find other service. Verizon is hopeless. read more

Usually I go into a phone store expecting to spend about an hour buying a new phone. I had waited a very long time to get a new phone, and was really excited to get a new phone. However, this time I was made to feel like my business was not wanted. I had been told by Verizon online that there was a $100 discount on a new iphone. When I went in and spoke with the guy, he didn't know what I was talking about. Not only did he have me sign in to my facebook account so he could see what they had stated, but he also went back and forth to the back room and continued to play on his phone, and still didn't want to offer what the rep online had said was a promotion that anyone should know about and it didn't need a special code. Finally, a coworker heard us talking, and knew what I was talking about and said it was valid. I asked twice over the time I was there to speak with his manager, who was somewhat better to speak with, but I explained how confused I was. The original salesperson also did not even suggest a case, screen protector, or any other accessories. I had to ask, when he was ready to send me home with the phone only. He told me I could go to Best Buy or Target if I wanted a screen protector. I told him I was not comfortable with that, and did not want to purchase a phone without a case or a screen protector. Basically, the last time I purchased a phone, they were able to move everything over to my new phone, while I was there. They stated that they cannot do that anymore, and I would have to do it myself at home. They also do not carry screen protectors that are disposable anymore and only carry glass screen protectors, which need to be mailed out if broken. I was worried I would not receive the $100 off deal if I left, so I purchased the phone today. However, it was honestly the worst experience I have ever had buying a phone, and am considering not even opening the box and just returning it tomorrow. The only really helpful person was the head manager who I spoke with for less than five minutes. This was not the experience I had anticipated, especially after having waited to upgrade for several years. read more

We purchased a prepaid plan for my mom who came from europe. This store and verizon were unable to activate the phone. When we asked for a refund they said prepaid plans are not refundable. So the service they provide didn't work and they won't give us a refund. This store and the customer service is terrible. What a waste of money and 3 hours of our time. Verizon can suck it! I came to this store after receiving horrible service at another location to which I had been loyal for many years. I was apprehensive and did not look forward to the purchase, but from the moment I walked in the store (on Black Friday weekend of all times) the staff was helpful, patient, and incredibly friendly. I was helped mostly by Adam. He was patient, understanding and very knowledgable. He worked with me on different scenarios (unlimited data, not unlimited, different discounts etc) to find the best deals and situation for me. He gave pros and cons of each scenario, was objective, and did a great job of setting me up with what I wanted. I cannot compliment Adam enough on his professionalism, service, and he had a good sense of humor as well. He managed to upsell me on accessories, work with me on my old device returns, and overall did a great job. As a follow-up, I came back two days later to finish sending in my used equipment and while Adam wasn't there, Aimee and Alex were incredibly helpful and accommodating. After coming through the retail nightmare that is Black Friday weekend, they all still had a good sense of humor, were helpful and efficient. I understand that the service depends on the day and the employees, thus my dissatisfaction with a store that had previously been wonderful may have been an anomaly. However, to spend over $2000 on equipment, I want to be in a place where the employees are kind, patient, and knowledgable. Avoid shopping here at all costs. They had what we were looking for, but it turns out they are just shady business people. We bought a Lifeproof case for the iPhone 6, which was very exciting, but the tricks came in towards the end of the transaction. The gentlemen helping us opened the case and installed it, which was very friendly of him, but after installing it, he decided to share that since it's now opened and installed on a phone, they would not allow us to return it. I understand that there are rules that companies have in place, which is just fine, but you should disclose these rules before ripping a case out and installing it on a phone yourself. They also bundled a phone charger with our purchase to save us some money, which seemed like another plus. Apparently, however, they aren't very familiar with their products because the phone charger won't work with the Lifeproof case. He was generous enough to offer us $10.00 for the charger if we drive back to the store to get it. After speaking with their corporate office about how they handled their business, we were told that it's his store and he's allowed to handle it however he pleases. All in all, the store offered a good deal for the case and charger combined, but with their shady business practices and uneducated staff, it really isn't worth saving a few bucks. Was eligible for upgrade, since this store was close to work decide to give a try. Busy place, wait was about 5 minutes this day (Friday) for associate. When Adam greeted me, was very friendly. After looking into my account came up with options to lower my bill and get me the phone I wanted. Told him was not ready that day but would be back on Monday, gave me his card and his schedule for that day and then walked me to the door. When I went back on Monday it was even busier than Friday. Told greeter wanted to wait for Adam, no problem. Wait was probably close to 15 minutes. When Adam greeted me and I told him option I wanted, think it took less than 10 minutes and I was out the door. Again Adam walked me to the door and held open for me! we was transfer our services from at&t to verizon,, when in to the store on wadsworth and Bowles Littleton Colorado by southwest mall,, so we transfer our number the sale rep get out number wrong,, we have to wait for 1 week after receive the new phone and call in to transfer the number that my wife have, but we get charge for $47.50 for there mistake, when we was at the store we ask the rep about our rebate give card he was told us they will credit us on our account that we haven't received it,, he told us Verizon customer service will contact us and help us,, 10 day later we received 2 bill,, we get 2 charge on our bill,, $17.50 each for Verizon phone insurance that we have denied when signing contracts, we call customer service to get it straight out, they help us get it fix,, then we ask for our rebate they said it already expired already there nothing they can do, and told us go to Verizon store to talk to manage, so I went out to the store I got the same answer nothing he can do, and try to protect other employees that make mistakes cause us lot of problem,, if the employees haven't fully trained they shouldn't be a sale rep,,they cause people time and money read more

I won't bore you with the details of my dilemma, however, I will pass on to other Verizon clients who need specific accommodations to avoid this location!! Rebecca was so rude! Rebecca was so Unbelievably disrespectful to myself, and my husband for an error that this store caused and is on their shoulder to reverse and take care of. Note: This is the Denver West Verizon Wireless store (not to be confused with a Verizon reseller kiosk in the mall). While I've become more and more disappointed in Verizon over the years, I've remained a loyal customer since 2000 due to the simple fact that their network is superior to others. This store, however, affirms our decision to visit AT&T, which we did right before going here. The experience between the two was drastic. Upon entering this store, we were greeted by a young woman who asked for my phone number. She looked up the account, and said that someone would be with us in a few minutes. For the next 10 minutes or so, we looked at phones, and then stood and waited, watching as employees stood around talking at the front, and others talking in the back. We were about to leave when the woman and a sales associate approached. She handed off information to him, for some reason (versus helping us herself). I was then told to provide my ID. I didn't care for the young man's tone. We gave him a few minutes to make the very confusing Verizon sales pitch, and when it ended, he agreed that we should just buy phones outright (from anyone who sells Verizon so long as the phones can be activated on their network) and keep our old plan. I didn't need to wait around to be told that. I already knew that, but don't worry, as the confusing "buy now, but pay nothing, but actually pay more for less than you currently get plan," confirmed two things: 1. we immediately left and did not make a purchase, and 2. we'll revisit AT&T or if we stay with Verizon, buy from another store. Stop trying to be the Apple store. Train employees to serve any customer who walks in. Maybe you'd have had close to $1,000 in business today if I received straight-forward answers, had a print-out with the actual costs tailored to me/my account. read more

What a horrible experience. One of the worst, if not the worst, sales experience I've ever had. They treat you like it's a big imposition on their time to explain anything to you and if you don't understand things perfectly, well, that's your tough luck. While I was buying my phone there, my wife went over to Best Buy and bought hers there. While the Verizon store employee would not transfer my data and was telling me that Best Buy charged $100 for the service (a lie), the Best Buy employee (Sean) was incredibly knowledgeable and treated my wife like a queen. Not only did he patiently transfer her data for free (and on Black Friday, no less!), but then he did the same for my new phone even though I hadn't purchased it there. This reflects on the Verizon store only, not Verizon the company, whose phone represents have always been nothing short of wonderful to me. But if you're buying a new phone around Colorado Mills, do yourself a favor and go over to Best Buy (or even Target would be better!). The service is better and they aren't ripping you off on the price of their accessories, either. read more

They have 2 people "taking names" to put you in cue and only 3 people helping that cue. 2 of those 3 are explaining every phone in the store to the customer. Not a good use of resources. Once we were called up, the technician was knowledgeable and friendly. I went into the store to get a new phone and they ported my number over from old carrier. They didn't want to take my cash down payment so we had to cancel the transaction. I try to get my number back on my old carrier and since they (VERIZON) cancelled my phone number I could not get it back. The store manager Casey Jacobs talk to me to get on the phone on Thursday I went out on the Friday to try and get my number back and he was being very discourteous and arrogant. He gave me Verizon's customer service I called them and he started to argue with his own customer service, saying that he didn't cancel my number (how else would it get cancelled as they had already got my number from my old carrier). I asked for his manager he didn't want to give me his managers number. I asked for the corporate headquarters he didn't want to give me the corporate headquarters number, He then called security. ALL I WANTED WAS TO HAVE NUMBER PORTED BACK TO MY OLD CARRIER (DUE TO VERIZON CANCELLING NUMBER) AND THE STORE MANAGER CASEY JACOBS WAS BEING AN ASS. I filed a complaint with the Colorado Mills Mall as one of the security guards witnessed how Store Manager Casey Jacobs running after me as I was exiting the store pointing his finger in my face. These guys are amazing. Yes, it's a kiosk. It's right by the Kenneth Cole store. But seriously, I like dealing with the kiosk SO much better than walking down to the actual store. No, they can't help you with tech support. But what they can do is answer questions for you - in a personal manner, not like a robot. They can help you sign up for Verizon Wireless, they can answer pretty much any questions you have about their phones and services, and they can help you with upgrades. Their phones on display are mostly dummmies, but if you want to actually try one out to see how it works, they're more than happy to dig one out of its box and let you play. If what you're looking for is a more relaxed feel, more of a friend-like salesperson than a robot, then head to the kiosk instead of the store. They're definitely way cool. read more

I entered the mall looking to get a gift for my wife. It was Christmas eve. It was about 1PM. I was walking by the Verison kiosk and the told me about a special they were having so I listened. Alex was very nice and persuasive. So I bought. No problem. I go home and the tablet I bought didn't work. I called Alex and got a different guy at the kiosk. He said try this and try that or bring it in and he will fix it. I tried this and I tried that but it didn't work so I brought it back. Trip #2 to the mall. This was to no avail because he couldn't fix it. It wasn't something I was too stupid do correctly as he insinuated. He also said he is new at Verison and wasn't that good at returns. So he makes some phone calls with no results. Oh and then by the way you didn't bring the box so I can't exchange it for you without the box. I said, "you could have said to bring the box if you bring it back". He says " It says in the paper you signed you have to have the box for an exchange". That was "smartass comment #1". Sorry I didn't read the 6 pages of documents you had me sign. So now I leave in a huff to go get the box and he makes snotty comment #2 as I'm walking 30' away "Merry Christmas" sarcastically. So I go home get the box and go back to the store. No one is now in the kiosk. I walk over to the store and ask for help and they tell me they can't help me it has to be done at the kiosk. They say their should be someone at the kiosk. I tell the people at the store to tell the kiosk guy's boss he's sarcastic and I didn't like his manners. So I go back to the kiosk and sarcastic guy is there I say nothing to him hoping to just get this done and I'm waiting and waiting and waiting and he tells me there's a problem with the website. This is going on the 4 hour now. Now Casey shows up. He walks up to the kiosk with an attitude looks at me and says "can I help". I say I don't know are you a manager? He says yes. I say " the website has a problem, can you do something?". Casey the manger does nothing but comment on me being annoyed. Really? REALLY? So we go round and round about the competency of his people and service. Casey tells me " Well what do you expect if you shop on Christmas Eve. Don't you think the website would be very busy". I guess no one should shop at Verison on Christmas Eve ever. It got worse from there they threatened to call security several times because I was annoyed. I had no idea being annoyed and suggesting incompetent people are annoying was a reason to call security. I was not loud, I was not violent I was just annoyed. I was gratified when I went to Yelp to post my review and found many people hate this store. I guess this is what you get from Verison. I also called the corporate offices. This is a great store, with friendly, knowledgeable, experienced employees. Not sure why it received such a bad review, especially because the information provided on the previous review was inaccurate. Yes this store is run by Diamond Wireless. Yes that means it's a third party store, but that in no way means it's a "fake" Verizon store. Verizon pays Diamond to sell their products, and anything you'd find in this location you'd also find at a corporate store. They sell Verizon's products, so I'm not sure how that could mean it's fake. They completely revamped their management in April as well, so any bad experiences mentioned in the other review does not apply to the current management. I've never had a bad experience in this store, before or after the change in management. They are very detailed when they explain their contracts and go over everything that a customer would need to know. They have accurate pricing, and sometimes even have cheaper deals than corporate locations. They always have awesome bundles when it comes to phones, tablets, accessories, etc. The employees also go above and beyond to help their customers when they have questions about their devices or their plans, or if they need help correcting any issues. They are always trying to tell us when we can save money too. I love this location. read more

Abysmal customer service. I had a rude first impression checking in and then a nasty brat of a girl who didn't seem to know what she was doing and was defensive and argumentative. I couldn't remember her name for the life of me. It concerned me when she told me that all apps were purchased through Google play...No contacts were stored in SIM cards...I'm no techie but I'm not working for Verizon, either. I couldn't make a call or text from my new phone after she got her hands on it. I'm back on my old phone until I can get over to River Point where they have great customer service and knowledgeable staff. Zero attitude over there. I haven't had a top notch experience with Verizon overall, I have plenty of dropped calls and connectivity issues. read more

During the busiest day of the year, Black Friday, and continuing through today all of the sales associates at this Verizon Wireless Location went above and beyond what I would ever expect. In particular a gentleman named Aaron. He must have spent an hour and a half on the phone with Verizon Wireless's corporate office working through a glitch in their computer system that had prevented me from purchasing an iPad on Black Friday and was continuing to give us an issue the next day on Saturday. It was actually taking so long, that he let me leave the store while he continued to work on the issue, and contacted me on my cell phone to let me know the transaction was complete. I then went back to the store and picked up the iPad. Very satisfied, great customer service and very friendly people. read more
