My 87 year old sister bought a new phone and needed special instructions due to low vision. After trying to navigate the new phone we returned early the next morning to ask the associate for help. Let me tell you about AJ who saw me struggling with her wheelchair and instead of waiting for us to enter the store he came out and insisted on helping her right there, curbside , while she was in the car. I'm trying to reach the store on 441 and you don't even have it listed. Your IPhone and service for people who are elderly are abusive and confusing. I have returned to the store several at least 7 times to try and get it to work. Every time I go in they grab my phone do a few clicks and hand it back over to me. And every time when I got home the problems still exist. For example today I was told that my reception is perfectly fine when it only operates on 2 bars. I've been trying to respond to emails and texts. All my texts come back saying error unable to send. If you hardly have cell phone service/texting on your phone would you put up with less than stellar performance? The 1st salesperson today told me how to do the things to figure out what was going on and replied to my answers in a snooty tone and eye rolls. Just become I'm 60 doesn't mean you can't gaslight the Village's (All over 60yrs.) When I was sitting with others waiting they had similar experiences having multiple returns to the store.. If you aren't able to assist me please tell me where I should call to find help. It's so frustrating.. I even take a note book and it doesn't help. Please I live with my 84 year old mother and taking care of her I do my best with cell phones.. read more

Please be careful when buying a new phone. They do not disclose all of the additional costs. Especially the non-refundable Data transfer Fee of $40.00 per device. I just got scammed into paying an additional $120.00 for the sales rep to type in icloud passwords on 3 Devices. Which I could have easily done, I just thought that after purchasing 3 new phones, paying the additional taxes, paying the activation fees, purchasing new cases, and charging devices That the data transfer would be a courtesy. Not at this location. I called Verizon direct and they NEVER charge a data transfer fee. This was extremely disappointing to hear and I feel like a complete idiot for getting scammed. read more

I went to this VERIZON store because I was having trouble activating my Verizon flip phone that I purchased at another store. Even though it was a Verizon phone with a Verizon phone card the people there didn't want to help me because I didn't buy the phone from them. Finally after a heated argument the Verizon person called 611 from my Verizon phone and a nice agent helped me over the phone to get the phone activated. I would have given the store ONE star, but because they called 611 for me I added the extra star. I find Verizon phone activation very user UN-friendly. I have activated many phones from home over the internet, so I am not green at it. I hope to never purchase another Verizon phone, and IF I do, I would not go to THIS shop at least. read more

I went to this Verizon store with the attitude that I was going to be very disappointed with the service. I had read previous reviews. Was I ever wrong. I walked into the store and rack employee was with a customer. My friend walked over to one that was helping some to ask if there was a technician available. The young man politely informed her that he was with a customer but they were looking and he would try to help us while they browsed. He then ash what he could do for us. When I told him my phone would not ring he asked will it vibrate and when I handed I'm the phone and said yes he pulled the cover to the side and flipped the little switch on the side as he was dialing my number from his phone. Wowola it rang. He was very polite and returned the phone to me. I believe this is excellent service. read more

I am very unhappy with Verizon. You cannot tell the corporate stores from the other Verizon stores. I am retired and in bad health. I went to a Verizon store and wanted a I phone because I knew how to use a I pad. Somehow I ended up with a windows phone and a contract for anytime min. And unlimited texting. Now I've had 6 strokes and am 74 yrs old. What do I need unlimited anything. I do not need or want a bigger phone bill! I feel that I was taken advantage of by these people that represent your co! I will pass on the word that Verizon stores cannot be trusted! They take advantage of the elderly people. I've talked to one other person that this has happened to, and I am sure there are others. My last update after a 5 month ordeal trying to get things fixed for my grandma who walked out of the store with a windows phone and unlimited everything when she wanted an iphone and not unlimited. The rep on here says they will update me - never received anything from the person on here and never received a return call from the regional manager after I left a message once a week from early sept until late October. I quit eventually. In November we all canceled our phones with Verizon and let Sprint buy out our contracts. We felt very strong about this situation, but nobody could help us. Got $10 dollars for the windows phone for my grandma, the same phone she was was switched and baited with instead of an iphone in July and the same phone that she paid more than $10 for obviously. Oh well. Sprint customers now. This was the most disappointing customer service experience I have ever had to be part of, same for my grandparents - we have repeated this story over and over to friends and family because its something thats not supposed to happen. And I use it as an example of what not to do when I am training new employees at my business. Still shaking my head, how a 74 year old grandmother (who also had multiple stokes this year) went to a store to get an iphone and gets a window phone and unlimited everything. read more
