I stopped in today to find out why my google photos weren't syncing to my Chromebook? Also why the voice mail wouldn't let me call it? Lana had me all fixed up in less than 10 minutes!! Also added the visual voicemail icon to my screen. Updated some settings so the photos will always sync and not only when it's searched for a wifi signal. I appreciated her extremely swift service and kind attitude. Thanks Lana I much appreciated the fixes and describing the steps you took to make the changes... should I have a future issue!! read more

With very few exceptions, the staff and managers at the Verizon store in Maplewood MN are terrible. In a recent encounter with Divine, he told me I had 2 more weeks to return my phone. Well that was incorrect and the day I was there was the last day to return. Then he refused to admit to the manager that he had given me incorrect information. When I was looking at my second replacement phone, I asked Divine to explain some of the differences between the different Samsung phones. He barked that he didn't know and he would have to look up the specifications for each phone. He was obviously a new employee, was no help at all, as well as being rude and dishonest. The manager who is heavyset, and has black dreadlocks and a ponytail is the worst. I had had problems with terrible (and sometimes no) cell service for 4 weeks. He said I couldn't "prove" I didn't have service. " Must be user error". Great service to call your customer a liar. This manager did not wear a name tag or lanyard. When I asked for his name, he became even more threatening. When I asked other employees for his name they said "he's my boss". When I related my tale to friends, they all said they NEVER go to the Maplewood store. Apparently it is common knowledge how bad this place is. Verizon's own diagnostic tools consistently say there is poor cell service in St. Paul. My phone does not work unless I am hooked up to wifi. I need to switch back to TMobile. Much cheaper and WAY better cell service. Nice employees too. read more

Well, Hugo Verizon does it again. "Nothing" - I left one review ( not good), and although I got a nice message from the manager saying, they would escalate my review for further action ? Or something like that, i believe that was for " viewers" I got completely scammed and when I went back in - "Funny how that person didn't work at that location anymore" ,He didn't answer my calls or texts and left me with $175 a month bill with very small usage on my phone (let me remind u, that I turned in a BRAND NEW phone , I was told about this great deal I was getting, and paid a ton of money the 1st month including $177.77 and $149.94 and $124 "b4 even leaving the store", and within 2 wks i ended up with some other charges, and a bill for $380 something and when i asked about all this, I was told it was just 1 time charges and my bill would drop and credits would be put back on?? My bill was supposed to be $70 for the phone bill with an additional $10 for the So called free devices?? Yet I am oweing over $1000 on a phone that should have been (free,) since they had that offer,of course "Commission" was in the prize pool,so telling me what I wanted tp hear, saying it was in my price range,was fabricated !! I mean, for real?? I had to trust them as I cannot read the paperwork because of my accident Which this guy undefstood so I turned in the other phone, and signed the paperwork( yes i asked what it was" being told I quote " everything we talked about" and in addition,I am being charged for a smart watch ( Suppose to be free) that I can't use because I didn't get the charger?? yet they up'd my bill, and I've never even have gotten to use the watch that im being charged for each and every month ( absolutely unbelievable)(no fault of mine) He told me to come in and they would give me one, I went in and Nope, no charger , Nobody knew anything about it, (He told me he would leave the info, incase I went in when he wasn't there) I not only refuse to buy a charger "i should have gotten", but at this point cant, Another lie to me.. I'm barely pulling it off for a product that should have come with one!! How is that in any way, right?? After my injury (last review) i set a budjet also got a tablet ( supposedly) free "SMH" got charged for a screen protector that did not help and within a wk it was cracked, there was no protectant on it obviously?? and even so - "if he would have got back to me" , After chasing him around ( via text and calls) I would have gotten fixed!! (Warranty)By the tIme I got the news he wasn't there any longer , too much time had passed and guess who gets sc***** again , I have absolutely had it with this company, and this store whIch could Have explained they were not a actual affiliated Verizon store ( whulich I got charged for that ) believe it or not!!- and I still don't understand that! Dishonest staff. Sold me an earbud claiming that the new phone I was getting was not compatible (false). Just a couple of months after buying the screen that was supposed to protect the phone, it cracked. The manager refused to replace it. Horrible customer service. I went to this Verizon store to change cell phone carriers, combine accounts with my roommate, and upgrade phones. The store was busy when we arrived and as soon as we walked in the door, someone took my name to "sign us in" and told us someone would be able to help us soon. We waited only a few minutes before being helped by Joe. Joe was fantastic. He was friendly, courteous, patient, knowledgeable about plan options and what would work best for our needs. He was a real champ in helping up combine our AT&T accounts into one Verizon account, and import our old phone numbers. It didn't hurt that he was versed in Harry Potter and knew his wife is a Hufflepuff :-) I'm giving the store four stars instead of five because 1) Their accessory options for their Samsung phones was not especially impressive, and 2) I literally have spent less time buying a car than getting this account set up and phones purchased. That was more due to the Verizon person on the phone getting accounts and phone number transferred, so it is arguably not fair to ding the store a star for that, but I am basing my review on the whole experience. Went in this morning to trade in our old Apple Watches for 2 new ones. Divonte was fantastic to work with. He was very polite and informative on all our options. Will definitely come back to him for anything we may need. We were not pleased with the manager on duty. I missed his name but he kept pressuring us to hurry up and it felt like he was making our rep uncomfortable. Of course this is our opinion but we did not appreciate the managers attitude toward us or our rep. read more

Brought 2 new phones in to get help finishing the setup! We were immediately met by a girl (Natalie) not sure about her name. She helped us out with our questions and set us up with a service person within 5 minutes. Quinn was able to answer our issues within minutes. A quick down load and we are back in business!! It's a beautiful store. Not a retailer like some others but a corporate store. People are friendly and genuinely happy to help. I waited for about 20 min on Christmas Eve which I expected and watched all the people ahead of me getting taken care of in a timely manner. When I was done, they walked me to the door. I came in to replace my old s3. Sales girl Sarah was very helpful. I was offered 2 bottles of water while I waited. This location has public restrooms as well. They were super busy since it was a Saturday. They don't understand what an appointment is. I made an appointment for 3:00pm on 6/2. I showed up at 2:55 checked it. I was told they were busy and I was put in que and it might be 45 min. I was told there were three people ahead of me. I asked if they all had appointments and he walked away. After 10 minutes I asked when was going to be talked to as I had another appointment I needed to get too. I was informed that there were still 3 people ahead of me. I asked again if they had appointments and he walked away again. So I asked those who were waiting and they said no they didn't have an appointment and just walked in. After 35 minutes it was my turn and the same gentleman who didn't have a name tag said it wasn't fair to make people wait? I said do you understand what making an appointment means and that your manager encourages making appointment, he said he was one of the managers and he doesn't agree with the policy and has his own policy. I asked for his name and he said "how can I help you". I stated by saying an apology for making me wait for people who didn't have an appointment for starters". He said he not going to apologize as he was following his policy and doesn't agree with the policy the other manager uses?????? I've been a. Verizon customer for 7 days and might not make it to 10 days. I called Verizon directly to see what the policy was and was told the nameless manager was wrong and they would open a formal complaint.....? Why make an appointment at Maplewood store? Plus I missed my other appointment because I didn't get out in time for a question that took 5 min. to get an answer to once "it was my turn in the walk up/appointment line!!!!" I think it speaks more to Verizon, the company as a whole, than this specific location but I have trouble every time I'm in here. I have never had a smooth visit to Verizon. And the clerks here can never do anything to help, just say call customer service. So frustrating. read more
