Never stepped foot inside this store. However on 6/24 at 7:35 PM our debit card was charged $300, then $200. Turns out some rep at this store, charged our account for someone else's purchases. We had to escalate to Verizon, file a fraud dispute, close down our debit cards, and everything. I guess 20 minutes before closing, someone decided they didn't want to do their job properly. On top of it, they had the audacity to upload someone else's debit card information into our account, after charging us for their Apple Watch purchases. Safe to say, I hope whomever that was, they are no longer an employee. read more

I have always had great customer service at this location. A couple months ago I came into this location because I washed my son's phone in the washing machine. I needed a plan for an old phone for just one month. I was helped by an understanding sales associate. She told me about the most cost efficient plan, which was $10 less than the plan they told me about at Best Buy. read more

But they cannot be responsible for anything that goes wrong with the application of said screen protector. Not an apology for not being honest. Matthew is a fantastic service guy! He's been there for a while and is quite knowledgeable at what he does. He wasn't there the last time I stopped by though. They used to have a check-in system but I guess that wasn't working out so well because I didn't see one this time. While I usually have a good experience when visiting this location, the last time I went was not so awesome. We are normally acknowledged as soon as we walk in and are usually told someone will be with us soon. Not this last time, however. The gal AND the store manager were apparently helping a particular customer even though the young girl clearly knew what she was doing....it's not like she was a trainee. This customer apparently was spending quite a bit of money so I guess he was their priority at the time. Neither the guy in front of me nor myself were even greeted AT ALL. We waited patiently in line and luckily another store associate came to help us. I was having some issues with the GPS on my phone so the service guy took my phone outside after first letting me know what he was doing. The manager all of a sudden all but ran outside after him to see why he was outside. The associate told him he was checking my GPS signal to see if there was a better signal outside. The manager was VERY rude to the guy. Then, when we went back to the service desk, the manager hovered around the whole time and kept looking suspiciously at my account information. I would HATE to work with THAT guy!! I swear he was interrogating the associate that helped me, when I looked up, as I was getting into my car. I will come back to this location again if I need to but I'll probably leave and come back another time if I see that manager again. read more

This is my first time calling this store. I've been a Verizon customer for a long time n this is the first time that I have been treated so badly over the phone. All I did was call n ask a few questions n the lady I talked to was super unhelpful she just treated me like I was inconvenience for calling to see if something would be there if I made a 3 hour drive. If you ask me never visit this store they only care about the money they can make off of u. O yeah and another thing. This is the only store where if u call and ask them to hold u a item they will tell u no first come first serve. read more

Dropped my phone in the tub. Not good. Dreaded going to the Verizon store as I had my grandson in tow. I arrived to friendly staff ready to put me in the queue. I only waited 5 minutes and Sales/service associate, Sean, saved my day! He quickly assessed my needs and got me out of there with a new phone, the right accessories and instructions in short order. The service counter is gone. Talked my wife into switching from ATT to my Verizon plan and never got waited on with only one other customer in store. I never even figured out how the place functioned. I hope I can find a real Verizon store. read more

If I could rate it less than a 1 Star that would still be too high. I went in last Friday and no one was in the store. Was greeted by a young man who didn't appear to be able to answer any of my questions without having to look up the information. I have been a Verizon customer for 25 yrs+ and also receive an employee discount offered by my employer which this young man proceeded to tell me did not apply to my bill if I upgraded to a higher data plan that I wanted. I was also wanting to trade in my phone and purchase the new IPhone 11 and receive $100 rebate credit offered which he told me that I wouldn't qualify for. (I had checked my trade in phone to see if it was eligible before coming to the store and he didn't even check before telling me no). At that point I told him I was going to another store and walked out. Long story short.. I drove 20 minutes to Wireless Zone in Allen and purchased a new IPhone 11 with the $100 rebate credit; upgraded to a higher data plan and received my employer discount all without any questions!! The Wireless Zone in Allen is an independent Verizon dealer and they have won me over as a customer for life! Too bad McKinney store..but your customer service and employees need some major training. read more

Got a good deal on phone trades, but that was a Verizon/Google deal that had nothing to do with the store itself. Customer service started out great with a manager assisting. He then turned the sale over to another agent and everything became very ordinary once it was obvious that the sale was going to happen. Matter of fact turned into a little hurried once the price started going too far north and I decided against adding a line and device. read more

I am really impressed with this location , I have been here multiple times and i have had the opportunity to get help from Vakenya always has a smile on her face and it seem she's always open to help me and others that walk in ! Horrible experience. Pretty much everything told to me was incorrect. Went in to replace three phones, all upgrades from previous phones. Told we would be better off going home to transfer and activate phones. Then got hit with $90 in fees that I was not told about as we were finalizing everything. Sales guy took a personal call while working with us, advised the other party he would be done in 20 minutes. Clearly him taking the call was more important than helping customers. The only good thing was that when I called Verizon Corporate they reimbursed me for the issues and told me what should have happened in the store. The sales guy also gave me some story about how trade in phone prices change daily which the Verizon corporate person said was completely inaccurate. Worst experience we have had at a Verizon store ever. Will find another location next time. Other reviewers clearly feel the same way. read more

The sales man that I had was very good and professional .He went above and beyond what he needed to do . We were upgrading our company phones . He told me that my business partner is in lubbock tx were our company is located .The sales man told that my business could go to the store in lubbock and get the same deal I was given . And trade in is phone and get a new one. When he went to the store in lubbock tx the tried to charge him 200 for a phone abd take the trade in . That was not the treatment I received . So he will drive five hours to McKinney tx to trade in his phone. Not to happy about that. read more

Worst Verizon location I've ever been to. Nothing but young guys that don't give a sh*t. I am due for an early upgrade and verified over the phone 3 times and these people are telling me different. Two of the men that work there didn't give a damn about what I had to say and told me to do it online if it is easier. No customer service whatsoever. SORRIEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Beware, Verizon reps lie through their teeth. We're sorry you have had a bad experience, but I can't help you! I recently received a Verizon Samsung S7 phone when my son switched carriers because he has deployed to the Middle East and he and his family wanted a plan that included international talk, text and data. I tried to activate the phone on AT&T, with whom I have had service since 1996. For some reason Best Buy was not able to get the phone up and going on AT&T so I went to the local Verizon store and activated the phone on a prepaid plan. I was pleased with the service and the cost of the plan UNTIL I traveled to East Texas to visit my mother over the Thanksgiving holiday. Once I was out of range of the Verizon tower in Center, Texas, I received a notice that I was on roaming. I had read the terms of service regarding roaming and it states that all of the United States is covered by Verizon service. The last time I checked, Texas and Louisiana were still part of the United States... unless you are on a Verizon prepaid phone. When I got home I contacted Verizon about not having service for 3 days and the rep told me they could credit my account for the remainder of the prepaid term. I was concerned that it would cause problems porting the number back over to AT&T so told them to do nothing at that time. I took the phone to the local AT&T store and they got it up and on the network in no time. I have unlimited talk, text, and 6 GB data for $40 per month. Same price I was paying Verizon for 3 GB data and sucky, lousy, sorry, horrible customer service. I have spoken o 7 different Verizon reps and even returned to the store (as I was instructed to do by the last phone rep I spoke with). I honestly think Verizon gives instruction in how to lie to customers and how not to take ownership of a problem. read more
