If I could give this store and the manager in duty 8/7/2025 less than one star I would. My family has been happy Verizon customers for over 21 years. After I visited the store yesterday I was told to call 611 for customer service and they could handle my problem. They could not. So I drove all the way back to the store to get a 21+ year old account for my father with dementia taken care of. The manager Jonathan was useless and un empathetic. Not someone who should be in management in my option. So after well over 20 years of service. I'll be heading to AT&T tomorrow. This saddens me as I have been the reason we've kept them as a carrier for so long because of their great customer service and guaranteed always speaking with a customer care representatives the USA. Another large corporation outsourcing at the cost of the consumer. I cannot stress enough how bad the service with the store manager Jonathan was as well. read more

I asked the rep for the 7.95 insurance. He didn't add anything while I was in store and when I got my receipt I told him I wanted the 7.95 insurance. He said he would add it but added the 19$ option. I called the store and asked to speak with him but he never called me back. I called customer service to fix the error but the insurance is still on the bill. So to resolve the issue I will be DISCONNECTING the new line of service and removing the insurance as well. Maybe once the rep sees the chargeback on his next month targets he will remember follow the Verizon standard of being honest and not adding what you want to add to customers accounts. I expect a refund for the insurance minus what I requested, twice. Very disappointing. I expected a higher standard. But this will be lifted up! read more

Bought a mount stand from someone who didn't bother to take my information in case they needed it later for a return. (Foreshadowing!) Lo and behold the device broke as I was trying to install it so I came back for a return. I noticed the manager was tending to everyone except me. When I asked a kid named Daniel rudely scolded me and said HE WILL GET TO YOU. I've spent a few thousand dollars at Verizon corporate stores buying multiple phones and I do not want or expect this treatment. As a result I immediately asked for my money back but becsuse the lady who processed me did not enter me into the system they could not find the e-receipt. I mentioned I had a receipt emailed but it did not arrive. It took 10 minutes to process the refund. This is the only corporate store in the area sadly. The female manager was extremely rude. Her entire engagement with me was hostile and she was aggressive. i asked to speak to the manager above her and she told me that he wasn't able to be contacted bc he was a District Manager and traveled to several locations. As a former District Manager myself, this is ludicrous. Save your time and spend your money at another location. read more

Let me start by saying I've had Verizon since about 2005 but the last few years of interacting with their salespeople has gotten shadier and shadier. In this instance, the sales person just lied right to my face. We went to Verizon because I wanted to move from my individual Verizon account onto my family's Verizon plan. Before starting, I asked to make sure I'd save money by doing this, the salesperson assured me I'd save more than $50 a month by going to the family plan. The first bill after switching to the family plan came with several "switching" fees and my share of the bill ended up being more than $200, almost $30 more than my previous monthly bill when I was on my own plan. They said "an odd bill should be expected" which I now realize translated to "We're not telling you about the hidden charges you're going to be hit with." Two weeks after I paid that bill, I got a letter from Verizon that I owed an outstanding balance of $70 from my previous account, on top of the extra money I was hit with in the family plan. The second month came and everything is "normal" now and my bill is now $191 a month, this is $20 a month MORE than I paid on my own. The people here are shady and will lie to your face. Even during idle conversation while they switched my account from individual over to the family plan I asked about a big advertisement hanging in their window which offered a plan for $80 and $20 for each additional line. I said this plan would cost my family $200 a month and that'd be great! He responded by explaining how if we did switch to that plan, it'd actually cost more than $400. When I asked why the sign in the window said something different, he just replied "that's how they do it." They told me my bill should have been under $120 a month once I moved into the family's plan, now I'm paying $191 from a previous $171. Take your business elsewhere. They're dishonest as can be and will take you for all you got and smile the entire time. read more

Bought a cell phone case the salesman recommended as one of the best!! Dropped my phone about 2 1-2 maybe 3 foot, and the back glass shattered. Verizon refused to stand by the product they encouraged me to purchase. The case they sold me has (supposedly) 10ft drop protection. Buy a case on line, way cheaper and better quality'!! read more

I thought I should do a quick review of this Verizon store. My wife and I went in shortly before close wanting to do a phone upgrade for her. Ray started helping us, we knew pretty much what we wanted. Ray didn't try to rush us or tell us to come back. We ended up adding an iPad to the purchase, then Frank came over to help Ray. Both Frank and Ray were very friendly and helpful. When we need anything assistance we will go back to this store. read more

All in all i had an okay experience. My main complaint isnt with the staff or service provided, but rather, with the layout of the store. (Although, it was bizarre that the employees dont wear a uniform. Upon entering the store, some random hipster wearing a tshirt and jeans with an ipad walked up to me and asked me for my phone number and i had no clue he worked there.) So this store has some new-age funky floor plan that apparently didnt include any chairs. There are two benches you can sit on if you're waiting to be helped, however, once your name gets called, you awkwardly stand at some elevated podium while you conduct business. I'm on my feet 10 hrs a day at work. If i go somewhere like this, i'd like to sit down at a desk and relax. Especially if i had to wait 30 mins to get helped in the first place. My overall visit, including a wait, lasted about an hour and a half and i was on my feet the whole time. Other than the zero seating situation, the service provided was good and Mary was very knowledgeable about apple products. Give this place some chairs and normal desks and its 5 stars. read more

Very disappointed. My husband bought me a new iPhone 12 with accessories. The sales rep. was told that it would be a gift and my current phone would be exchanged when we returned with the new one to be activated. Upon trying to contact the store it was a nightmare. I was never able to actually TALK to anyone. Kept referring me to the My verizon app to make an appt. online for a personal appt. with someone to actually activate the phone. Staff at this location are completely useless. Came in and asked for a very specific phone and promotion and was given the run around. The employee was completely unaware of current advertised promotions and products. Told me he could only upgrade my iPhone 11 Pro Max. Like hello I already have the newest model. Completely a waste of time. Then he asked to use my phone to see the promotions on the website. What happened to the new COVID touch free process... you can't go on your own website? I went into the Melbourne Verizon Store on 192 to take advantage of the "Buy an Iphone8 and Get One Free" deal. Mary, the sales rep there told me that the deal also applied to the iphoneX. I told her the deal says that only $699 will apply to the second IphoneX. She ASSURED me that was not true and that if I buy one, I would get one free. She repeated this several times after we asked for verification. We even have paperwork that SHE WROTE that has it listed as free. We get our first bill and guess what. I was right. Only $699 credit would apply. I tried numerous times to get the manager or Mary to call me back and received no response. DO NOT go to this store. They are dishonest and at the very least need to go back for remedial training. Bottom line - they are not to be trusted. read more

It was the end of July, 2018 I called Verizon support to transfer my husbands flip phone number to my old Samsung Galaxy phone. The person was nice enough but after 2 hours on the phone it was decided to send me a new sim card. When I received the new sim card and another hour with support it didn't resolve the problem and then was told they could not re-activate my husbands flip phone, which they deactivated a few days before. My husband and I went to the Corporate Verizon Store at 2120 New Haven (192) in Melbourne. We have always been treated well at this store. On this particular visit, August 5, 2018 we were greeted by Frank Buck, told him the issue. He inserted another sim card and in a matter of minutes problem was resolved. Transfer and activation was successful. We left very happy and pleased with the phone and with Frank Buck's knowledge and expertise. read more

This was a horrible experience and undoubtedly one of the biggest wastes of time in my life. Approached the Customer service rep (Jeff) with how I have a bunch of previously unknown charges to my account only to be told that it was my fault. Told them that I was signed up for programs I didn't ask for, was once again told that it was my fault. The employees here seem to be drones that act more like Verizon puppets than customer service people that I would trust to help me. They are trained extremely poorly and it shows. Beware of Verizon, ghost fees, unknown charges, sneaky terms of conditions that add new charges, are all fair game when it comes to this company. I pray that google enters this industry and buries companies like this once and for all. read more

Made an appt for 3pm today. Arrived early. Walked in with another woman and of course they asked the woman behind me her name and told her what number in line she would be. I stood around for 5 mins waiting and another customer walked in...the same lady at the front asked him his name and told him his number ..so obviously i went up closer for her to address me. Finally she asked me and i told her my name and appt time (it's now 3:05pm) ..she tells me she would be right with me after her current customer. 3:15 she finished up..customer left. She then called a couple sitting down...she just told me i was next!!!! So here it is 3:20pm. 20 mins after my appt time and i will have to leave soon if she doesn't take me. Super annoyed that you can make an appointment and still have to wait as if you're a walk in customer. Plus the poor customer service from the rep. Wouldn't come back here again. read more

This place was ridiculous I waited in line 45 minutes with a phone that froze up and then just stopped working completely with a purple screen. When I finally got help to see if they can fix it or what options I had to get a new phone the associate didn't even inspect my phone at all! He just automatically started talking about charging me $149 for a warranty renewal program. What a joke! read more

April 2017 Verizon Stock Plunged 20% because customers like myself left due to customer service. The attitude of this company thinking they are above everyone and lying just to make a sale is beyond me! They say they don't have "contracts" anymore...LIE! They trick you into them and get you to sign them...how, is beyond me. They tell you that you "need" jet packs in order to get wifi with tablets when you already have house wifi...it's ridiculous, but older people like me believe it. When I went to return my jetpack I was told it was "too late", I was under contract. REALLY! I can't even begin to tell you the fees I've had to pay! I bet over $1,000 for this jet pack I never needed!!! And I wonder why people are leaving? The Managers at the Melbourne Store are the WORST PEOPLE I have ever run into! The entire staff treated me terrible! I would NEVER go there for a product. Try Sprint :)I was with them for over 20 years and I'm not sure why I left! read more

What a horrific experience. This store has incredibly rude management and non-existent customer service. The only polite person we encountered was the guy checking people in. My mother and I went in here to inquire about an upgrade and were met with curt responses and unreceptive customer service. I understand policies are policies but there is a lot to be said about delivery and loyalty. After this experience we are thinking about switching providers, and we have been with Verizon since they began. Extremely unprofessional and rude, not to mention completely disrespectful. Behavior like this staff had would not last 2 seconds in any major city. I don't generally write negative responses, however I feel if they are able to turn loyal customers off, perhaps the constructive criticism could assist. So much for Southern Hospitality. Buyer Beware stay as far away as possible from this store....This store is about the worst Verizon store I've ever been in. They have the most unpolite bunch of sales team.They think they know it all and they make sure to to belittle you in every way. I've walk out numerous amount of time and I go to Best Buy and these salesman are the best. They bent over backwards to make sure you get the best experience from beginning to end. The sad part is Verizon has a monopoly on this edge program. I went to jump on this offer but of course I can't get it at best buy because they have a freeze on my account and I can only get the service at a corporate store. So I lost 200 dollars on the Best buy deal you buy Note 4 get a $100 gift card per edge sign up. But NO not me.... have to go Verizon store. Well I bite my tongue and go there and ran into a half way decent guy and I buy one Note 4 transfer all of my data stuff with an App called Smart switch by Samsung .....seemed to work great....got all of my stuff over. Bought all kinds of accessories from the guy. Well all went so well my wife still has her Samsung S4 and she very sensitive about her pictures especially and she decided to get the same phone since things went well with this salesman Umesh that we gave him the benefit of the doubt. We went ahead bought a second Note 4 does the same thing.... does the Smart Switch...All goes well...but the worst thing happens he said the pictures and and story book did not transfer over. Well about this time the store had been closed for some time. Umesh offers to hold on to the phone in a safe till the next following day where i told him I'll be back @ 1 pm and we can try to work on saving the files again or call someone that may know how too. His response was OK will do that he'll even ask his professional colleague how to do it. Well about 11 am I get a phone call from Umesh that the phone is factory defaulted and he lost all of the data on the phone including the story album.... All lost.....I said you got to be kidding.... I'm on my way over right now.....So i went back to store and of course did not even care not one bit. I just simply said you have crushed my wife heart. Just give me a refund on all.....I just wish not to give you my business...Not only lost a loyal customer but you only pretended to shine above your colleagues but didn't ....you just joined them. You bluntly erased the phone...when I told you I'll be back to assist in the process.....I'm not some dumb idiot that doesn't know better. I'm gone and will never return. The Verizon store manager did not care and also the phone customer rep at Verizon also... gave no care....There is NO loyalty to the customer but I tried to STAY but no one at Verizon cares.......... read more

My husband and I decided to get "Smart Phones". This is a big step as we are both seniors and new technology doesn't come easily to us. We narrowed it down to two service providers and decided to go with a contract with Verizon. A young man named Tarique came over to us and slowly, and ever so patiently started to explain how his contract worked. He explained it while putting it in front of us in writing. He was systematic and logical and patient. He then started to explain about the different services each plan offered. As neither of us had a grip on "apps" and "speed" Tarique ended up giving us Phones 101 in about 1/2 hour. He continued to review what he said and continued in a hands on method to educate us. We decided on two I-phones one a 6 the other a plus. He set us up with all the items we needed, never trying to hard sell us into anything we might not need. Yes, his sales were excellent that day, but it was because he educated us and did not pester and rush us. I told him his mother had raised him well. All three young men at the sales desk also exhibited the same patience and quality that Tarique showed. The store was spotless, no boxes or packaging lying around. We didn't the color "Otter Box" we wanted because they'd run out, but it is the Christmas season so we chose what they had. Later we had to go to another Verizon store to have our information transferred over to our new phones (their system had broken). We went to the Rockledge store off Murrell. It was a good thing we didn't start there because we'd have walked out. The young man in dreadlocks looked at us with a blank stare as if we were invaders and immediately told us our phones wouldn't work to get the transfer. We encouraged him to continue trying and eventually it did work. This store was not pristine. There was packaging and empty boxes all over the place even though the service was slow and this could have been eliminated. There were young men in chairs not appearing to be of service (friends of the clerk?), the young man who served us did get it right, but obviously did not realize how he came off to his older clients. Go to the New Haven Store if you are needing a new Verizon product. The service provided by Tarique was excellent and the store was a pleasant experience. read more

Bought a car charger here with a "1 year warranty". Any problems, bring it back for an exchange, no questions asked. 5 months later the end falls off. Not covered. I can't believe I just created an account on Yelp (which I never heard of before today) to correct/oppose Mr. Wesley S's review...which I found by coincidence while researching different IPhones. To anyone who takes this site seriously...please ignore this moron. Since purchasing our first phones in Aug 2006, after returning from a military tour in Germany....we will not go to any other Verizon store but this one!!!! We have other stores available to us, that are much closer, but will drive the extra distance for just this store! For 7 years, they have been nothing but polite, hugely helpful, extremely accommodating, kind, caring, FRIENDLY and sympathetic. Yes sympathetic! Just months after my brother died suddenly of a heart attack, I had to get a replacement phone and needed help to set up the new one and MOST CRITICAL...save my brother's texts which was all our last chats before dying. NO ONE knew how to do this but MIKE SOLARES spent an hour trying everything he new and then... tried something he nor anyone in the store had...and it worked!!! He saved all the last conversations between my brother and I! I had already received the new phone via mail from the insurance. All I was going to purchase that day was a cover! For Michael there was no commission, no bonus...just had a huge heart! He was just the icing on the cake when it comes to all the employees at this particular store. Mr. Wesley S. I think personally YOU were having a bad day or are very demanding and impatient. This store is the only reason we are loyal Verizon customers. If the customer service there ever declines, so will my overall opinion of Verizon! I'm visiting "our" store in approximately a week to purchasing my first IPhone as a current android user. Lots of help, advise, knowledge will be required from them. If customer satisfaction changes, I will immediately come back are say so! read more
