I had no trouble at all with the app. Yesterday I picked it up and when I got home I loaded it up with all my favorites like my old iPad. Everything was great but when I went to scroll it was difficult. I had to slide up three or four times till it took. Today, Bev, and I went back to Best Buy and they had the same issue with scrolling. The manager said I could get one from the open box /sale/display items to trade. They did not have any so he said to get a new one around that price. I was beyond thrilled to see Best Buy stand behind their product. The Apple iPad is great. Belinda was the sales lady that helped me yesterday when I picked up the item. She is so friendly ,professional, kind and understanding. She was fabulous and knowledgeable. It made picking up the item a joy. Today when I was bringing the iPad back Belinda was at the front door welcoming people in. She smiled big and called me by name. (She remembered me) and asked what I was up too. I showed her the issue and she called the manager over. He took great care of me. I think his name was Shepard. If I got the name wrong please ask Belinda she will remember. Chemo brain hits me now and then. Thomas was the salesman that helped me pick out an iPad. He was knowledgeable and kind. He answered all of my questions. The representative look at the iPad I was returning and reset it. It was scrolling. I tried closing a window and I got an error message. So I did need to return it. Thomas walked me back to the front of the store to check out. Belinda helped once more. Her kindness is greatly appreciated. I'm so happy I purchased from Best Buy Go to Best Buy and you will love what they have. Willie

    I spent over $5,000 on TVs in one day. The biggest tv I ever purchased a 77" Samsung tv costing me…read more$2300. Within a month the tv is just a paper weight. No power. Best Buy replaced it. Within two months no power again. Now it's 61 days after purchase one day over the time I can get a refund. I call customer service. Could hardly understand them. I have to go through Samsung. I find out via the reviews that I'm not the only customer with the same problem. Then why is Best Buy and Samsung purposely selling lemons. They tell me I have to get tv repaired three times in order to get some type of lemon clause. Wasted my money and now they want me to waste my time. Will never shop at Best Buy or buy Samsung again. Update: I emailed the CEO of Best Buy and someone got back to me the same day. They will be exchanging the tv with entirely different one. No more Samsung. Hello Sony. They will also be refunding me the difference

    After many years waiting for the opportunity to get back into quality audio and video, when I got…read morethat opportunity, the first thing was to find a shop that KNEW audio and video....not just sold it. The chain stores do have some quality people working for them, but to most of these people it's just a job, not a passion. Fortunately, I happened upon this "hidden" gem in Murrells Inlet. After speaking with both Allen and John on different occasions, I was confident that I found the shop I was looking for. They both took time to listen to what I needed and then made recommendations based on budget and of course, quality. They take the time to explain all of the components and recommend the gear that would work best for me, not the gear that topped out my budget. I took a chance on some brands that I wasn't completely familiar with, and a brand that had given me nightmares in the past. The guys stood behind everything they recommended, gave me a secure feeling that the products I was choosing would do what they said they would do. And then there's the install team... FANTASTIC. No messing around, right down to business, efficient, professional and clearly masters of their craft. Zero mess, zero issues with the equipment, and they took all of the time needed for me to be comfortable with operating things after they walked out the door. It was also important that I was happy with the system after living with it for a week. And pricing?? While I wasn't price shopping by any means... I wanted the good stuff and was fine paying to get it... but prices were well within line of any high-volume chain or internet shop. And those of us in the Myrtle Beach area know the sales tax slap for buying at the beach... Well, this shop is just over the line Georgetown County, so no 10% sales tax! Just an unexpected bonus! Great people, great service, great products and even great prices... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Our builder highly…read morerecommended him so my wife and I needless to say did not check any of his reviews like we had all the other subcontractors on the job. These are the problems we incurred. 1. Never on time 2. Initially tried to put 1 of the 10 cameras we bought in with a minimal slight crack in the glass which I noticed that day when I was inspecting his work. I called him and told him and yes he did replace it with a smaller camera that isn't the same as the other 9 It works the same answer as well but it was probably a cheaper one than the one I had paid for. 3. My wife and I also bought a vera management tool for our vacation rentals 15 of them. he installed hasn't ever worked properly. HE WOULD NOT COME BACK TO WORK OUT THE KINKS IN IT. 4. My camera system was viewable from my phone for about a week then crashed. He blamed it on our security for our computers. would not come back. 5. my son spilled chocolate milk on our amplifier for our surround sound and when I called him about it he said that it was unfixable and that I would have to order another one so I then instructed him to order me another one which came out to be about $500 on the day that he was going to install it he called me on the way and asked what I was going to do with the other one and I said will probably throw it away he then offered me $180 credit on the new one to keep my old one now why would you want to buy something that is not fixable if it really is not fixable so I told him I did not want to buy his new receiver and he told me that I would have to pay the restocking fee I told him to go jump in a river unfortunately we had made the mistake of paying him in advance I HIGHLY would not recommend using him for anything unless you want to get ripped off. Hired another company to come and complete the job it ended up costing us another $500 to have the stuff finished he never came back to do. The guy who came back to finish the work said that this was not the first time that he had had to clean up oneof Thomas Hills messes. BE CAUTIOUS IF YOU GO WITH HIM

    I recently took my vehicle in to have a Viper Remote Start installed. I dropped my vehicle off…read moreearly in the morning and was told it would take approximately 4-6 hours. Upon entering the facility, It seemed as if I had walked into a verbal lashing being dealt to employees from what seemed to be the store owner. I would have to say that the customer service department could use some help. Later in the afternoon I received a call that the employee installing the system went home sick and the installation was incomplete. I dropped off the vehicle again the following day for the installation to be completed. When I got the car back, there were two OBVIOUS scratches above the tire well on the drivers side, greasy hand prints all over the hood and side of the vehicle where the scratches were. When I brought these issues up to the owner, he became very defensive and did not want to acknowledge that the damage was done by their staff. Also, they switched the fog light and vehicle traction control wiring which I had to get fixed when I got the vehicle back home. Being in the customer service industry myself, I would not advise any friends or family to spend their hard earned money at this place of business. Some things to remember when in your line of business...The high cost of poor customer service ! * Loyal customers are cheaper to retain *Bad customer service spreads like wildfire *Great service impacts the bottom line This was my first and last time doing business with Audio Rhythms.

    I went to the FT Lauderdale boat show on Saturday Nov. 01, 2025 specifically to get some…read moreelectronics for my boat. Scott worked with me at the GPS Store boot and provided me a quote. I told him that I wasn't sure on the model and he told me that I could agree on placing a credit card to secure the "Boat Show Pricing". Giving me 2 weeks to decide. I agreed and on Monday got in touch with Michael. After some emails with Michael( he was great cant complaint) we agreed on the devices and the quote. The order was confirmed on Nov. 5, 2025. Michael told me that the order was placed and once they receive it, they will charge the credit card and ship item(that should had been the first flag). On Nov 20. 2025, Michael sends me an email stating that the order was completed and will be ship in the afternoon. That I will get a tracking number. I got charged the cost on my credit card. Up to this point, everything is going fine. Other than needed to wait two weeks to get the items "Shipped". On Nov. 26 2025, I sent an email to Michael asking for status because I haven't receive the items ordered or even a tracking number. To my surprise, Michael sent me an email stating that "Navico" informed them that the items wont be available until the end of June 2026. Of course, sent me other models with jacked prices. I ask, what happen. The order was charged and scheduled to deliver. His response was: "It has taken us a few days to get an update on the NSX3009 bundle package from Navico. Their update is these are not going to be in stock with them to ship until the end of June 2026." I cant believe that GPS Store been such a high volume store of marine electronics, they will make this statement. I believe the issue was that someone made a mistake in the quote and GPS Store didn't want to commit to the agreed price. Specially, when you go to their site and the system shows "IN STOCK" but at a higher price. They quickly returned the charges to my credit card. Odd! Looks like I am not the only one that was suffer the same fate.

    I'll try to make a long story as short as I can. I went through my home warranty company to have…read moremy GE Monogram oven and cooktop repaired. The oven wouldn't self clean and there was an issue with the electronic ignitor clicking after a burner was lit. A-1 Appliances in Myrtle Beach, SC was dispatched on FOUR separate occasions. One guy twice, two guys twice. On the last visit one said to the other, "Hey man, I feel sorry for tou. You're going to be here working on this one a long time today!". Shortly after that comment, they closed up my oven and said they couldn't get parts for the issues and were packing up to leave. I said I would look up the parts and let them know where they could order them. They left and said they would call me later and get the information from me. I text the man I had been dealing with, Russ, (all four visits) and let him know I found the parts. He text back he would call me at 4:00pm when he returned to the shop. I never heard back from him. I logged onto my email around 8pm that night and see my warranty company had closed out the claim because A-1 Appliance quit. I was so confused. I called my warranty company. They told me A-1 Appliance literally called them after they left my house and told them they were quitting my job. No explanation whatsoever, no phone call from A-1 Appliance to me explaining what was going on or why. Nothing! The next day, I called A-1 Appliance and asked to speak to the manager. Up to this point I had always been kind and considerate to the workmen that came out and with Al the manager on the phone until... I asked why they would just up and quit a job and not even contact me. Al said, "Oh, apparently we're on a different timeline than your home warranty company. Someone was probably going to call you eventually." I was shocked, Al also said, he thought I should just call GE directly because a screw was stripped and his guys couldn't get it out. WHAT? I did the research to find original, new GE parts online right away (which they couldn't find, if they even bothered to look. I even had to find a copy of the GE Manual online for them because they were so inept!). Now, I have an oven that they messed with and probably did more damage than before they originally came out and don't have a working oven or cooktop! I should have known right away on the first visit I was in trouble. I asked the tech if he had any trouble finding my place? I live behind another neighborhood you have to go through to get to my house on the Intracoastal Waterway. His reply, "Yeah, when I saw your address i was surprised anyone in that neighborhood would have your kind of high end appliances!". WHAT?! I couldn't believe what I had just heard. Al, "the manager" said to me when I questioned him as to why a company would be so disrespectful and unprofessional? His reply, "Listen, I told you to go through GE directly yourself. What else do you want from me?". My, reply, "Nothing at this point (although an apology would have been something), then I told him I'd be leaving a bad review on Yelp. He didn't seem to care and started mouthing off when I finally hung up on him. My advice, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Worst customer service and total inept technicians on high end appliances. They are truly out of their league in a sea truly qualified appliance companies in the Myrtle Beach area.
