I went in for a new phone because my battery died quickly. The sales rep told me he had some awesome deals and that with an upgrade to the iPhone X and unlimited data my plan would only go up $11 a month with a trade it. I send in my phone and a month later it turns out they will only give 1/3 of what they said they would for my trade in and my bill went up $45 a month. When I talked to the manager he smirked the entire time and told me there was nothing he could do and to take it up with corporate. Horrible customer service full of liars and scumbags. This location of Verizon has THE worst customer service I have ever encountered in my whole life. I have been in 9 times to get a simple scheduled upgrade on my phone. Every time you go in you have to wait at least 45 minutes to talk to a representative. Most of this time, the representatives are just in groups talking to each other having personal conversations While 25 customers are waiting to be helped. Then, after waiting all that time, they say they can't do anything for you and you have to do it online or talk to someone at customer support. Really? All I want is a stupid upgrade. You have plenty of phones here. I have money. Usually I just give you money and you give me the product. What is the point of the store if you can't do anything here?! On top of that, I'm sick of the false advertisements and promotions that Verizon is doing. They say get $100 off any smartphone, but what they really mean is that if you buy a phone they will give you $100 worth of accessories that you don't need and will never use. Bottom line is something needs to be done about this location. They are always understaffed and those that are there are very poorly trained and have no desire to help the customers in any way. read more

I'm in Provo visiting and needed to go into a Verizon store to take care of a service issue my daughter was having. I have to say I was expecting the worse from this store based on the reviews. I just left there and I was very pleasantly surprised. I was greeted at the door by Jake Howard He listened to my concerns/issue and immediately took care of me. I wasn't there more than 5 minutes and he had a solution, at no cost to me for my daughters service issue. He provided excellent customer service and was very pleasant. I think sometimes people only write reviews when things go wrong or they are upset. I wanted to write that for me at least, a received excellent service from this store. read more

I needed to switch out a phone case for a different color for my daughter's birthday, and I had to wait over an hour for my transaction. It was completely disorganized, and chaotic. Do not go here to get a new phone. I was not impressed with the sales team at all. They took advantage of my fiancé because she went in by herself to purchase a new phone. The salesman Isaiah had her turn in her iPhone 6 and gave her an iPhone 7. Usually when you trade in a phone, you get money off the new phone but the salesman wanted to charge her full price for the phone so he convinced her that it would be worth it to turn in her old phone and just get her new one. When I called an hour after she got back from the store to say give her the old phone back so we can sell it and get some money for it, they said that there was no way they could do that. They couldn't reimburse her, or even just give her money off on herand just get her new one. If you want to buy a new device, you could probably get decent service here. If you have a question about your device, like my sister did, you're wasting your time. My sister had a problem with her phone, so we asked the lady who greets people if they could help. She wasn't sure, so she added us to the queue so another employee could talk with us. We were told the wait was 45 minutes, so we waited. We didn't think we could go anywhere else for the repair help we needed. (I used to come here for minor repairs like the one my sister needed. A few years ago the service was exceptional.) An hour and ten minutes later, we were approached by an employee. When we explained the problem to him, he handed us a pamphlet and told us to either follow the directions on the pamphlet or try two other businesses. Over an hour wait for a pamphlet? Seriously? I upgraded 2 phone lines from basic to smartphones at wal-mart today, and then went to this Verizon store to transfer the contacts to the new phones. I got the contacts to the new phones, and then asked the associate to add total equipment coverage (insurance) on the 2 new phones, and remove the coverage from the 3rd line that is on an unlimited data package. I got home today to check my account to make sure everything got adjusted correctly, and the 3rd line that once had an unlimited data package, now showed a 2GB Data plan, as if I upgraded that line also. I immediately called Verizon customer service and talked to a representative who told me that this should have never happened. The associate even took me through each step of each store's changes to the plan. She continued to tell me that wal-mart added the upgrades, and then went on to tell me about adding and removing Total equipment coverage's. Finally the Verizon Store Associate DELETED my unlimited data package, and added a 2GB plan. This was not a request made by me. The only thing I asked to do with that line was to remove the equipment coverage. The phone rep told me that this was not an accidental removal. The store associate had to deliberately remove the plan, and go through 2 screens to do so. The phone rep told me she would put in a request to give me my unlimited data back, and I would within 48 hours. After concluding the phone call, I then went back to the Verizon store to talk to the manager. Talking to the manager was a joke. The Manager was trying to tell me that if you change anything on a line, you have the risk of another feature getting screwed up. I told him what the phone rep told me about it being deliberate, and he "assured" me that it was not, and told me he was sorry that a mistake like this happened. read more

I put in a complaint to corporate today. The managers attitude is completely unacceptable. I went in 3 weeks ago to have my iMessages turned off so I can use my new galaxy phone. One of the verizon people helped me and used a display phone to text my phone to make sure it worked. Well, three weeks later, I have numerous text massages from several different phones. The guy never deleted my number out of the display phone! i called this evening, I talked to some girl could barely hear her and she told me that there is nothing she can do and explained if I sold my phone to them my information is deleted... not at all what I said. So I demanded a supervisor. He gets on and said that he doesn't deal with people that are rude to his employees, maybe if the little girl listened I wouldn't have had to get rude. He told me that he would go around and clear all the messages (I doubt he will). He told me that they are not liable for that and I should have deleted it because I am the customer and should have been watching better. Well I assumed that it was the verizon guy's job to delete it after he is done sending test texts. I have never had a bad experience with Verizon up until now. Recently visited Verizon in (Not knowing the Spanish Fork store was corporate) Orem to return my dad's after his death. They told mom she didn't buy the phone at a corporate store so she would have to take it to an independent dealer. So she went all the way back to Payson to an independent dealer just to have them tell her that the Orem store was wrong, she would have to take it to a corporate store. This company is the worst. First off, they gave me a broken iPhone. Wouldn't replace it; I had to go to the Apple Store. Second, promised an extra gig of data, at no cost -- didn't get it, but I DID get an extra charge of $15 for that data. My bill is supposed to be about $70 a month, after my company discount of 20%. They said my first month would be higher than normal -- expecting it, about $120. Second month supposed to be the normal $70. How much??? $190!!! Are kidding me?? For what? Data overages. I work 5 days a week and have wifi at work. My house has wifi. My friends homes have wifi. They said 7 gigs over. 7!!! That's $15 per GB. I had T-mobile before; I wasn't working as much and was on my phone 2x as much, easily. Barely would I hit 4 gb's. If I did go over, they throttled the Internet so it was slower. Never any overage charges. I personally never had a problem with them, ever. I swear Verizon has some special hidden application that is just LEACHING your data. I just wanted the new iPhone for cheap. Big mistake! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Unless you like paying up the Gluteus Maximus for horrible service. I can't even put my phone on speaker and use the Internet to look stuff up. I was able to do that in 2005. Go get AT&T or T-mobile. Do yourself a favor. I'm promising you, unless you like spending a half hour on the phone with them every week, trying figure out why they're robbing you and providing atrociously horrible service. If you're planning on being stuck in a slot canyon, about to cut your arm off cause it's wedged in between a rock and hard place, go with T-mobile. Their cell signal is not that bad and way less hidden fees. My bill was always the same. Or AT&T. Just RUN from Verizon. I'm telling you. I've never written a review. I have traded at this store for years. But good service has diminished as wait time has increased. And when we have to wait so long a bathroom can be a must for older people but it is off-limits to clients. They acquiesced once but no amount of asking worked yesterday. I was sent outside in cold and snow to an eatery across the street. The past few years I have felt that even though sales people are nice they are not very knowledge nor competent. The customer service is absolutely nonexistent at this store. Everyone is perfectly nice, but they won't actually help you if you have an issue. They improperly applied my tempered glass screen protector, and when I went back to get it fixed, they told me that I wouldn't be able to get it replaced for free again if I had an issue with it breaking, AFTER they had already removed it from my phone, and another salesperson had said "they would take care of it." Oh, and then they did and even worse job of putting a new one on. If they say the air bubbles will settle out after a few hours, refuse to leave the store until they get them out because that's not how physics works. If they can't push it out with their thumbs, there is grease on your screen! I realize that this is all over a $25 screen protector, but it's the principle of the thing. My phone dropped and not a shatter on the screen protector, but my real screen looked like it survived a shoot out. Took it back and they said they won't do anything about it whatsoever. TERRIBLE customer service! Went in there first thing in the morning. As I walked in, a guy came up to me to add me to a waiting list. He said, "it should be a few minutes. We have 5 workers and only one ahead of you. So I thought, "great, I can wait then". Sat down and watched the next person helped so I knew I would be next. I watched a lot of people walk in after me and they started getting helped before me. So after 45 minutes of waiting, I asked the guy if I was still on the waiting list and he said yes but the people who get appointments get helped first. Appointments?? And he told me I only had one ahead of me. And there was a guy walk in that just had a "quick" question about something not working on his phone. So he didn't get on the list but got helped immediately. But his technical support for his phone and all of his questions lasted about 30 minutes. bought 2 new phones and new 2 year contract. they said we have 14 day trial period. if the phones we picked weren't what we wanted or if we had any issues with them we could bring them back within the 14 days and pay a restocking fee of $35.00 and pick another phone out. well we had many issues with the phones they did not honor what they told us. we are stuck with 2 very bad disfunctional phones. they where rude and had no concern to help us with our problems.
