I stopped by at around 2:00 P.M. and it was busy. I was promptly greeted, explained that I was in the market for a new plan, and was put in the queue but never told how long I could expect to wait. After about 20 minutes, I told the gentleman who greeted me that I needed to get back to work but would return later than night. When I returned, the store had settled down and I was promptly greeted by a salesman and asked questions. I explained my current family plan, our needs going forward, and asked for options. The salesmen quoted me something like $190 for 4 lines, unlimited phone and data. I showed him an offer from T-Mobile but he wouldn't match it or offer anything to compensate. The phones were even more expensive. He tried to tell me that by charging more Verizon could put that money back into improving its network (as if). He wouldn't even waive the activation fees, which T-Mobile would also do. Verizon just didn't offer any compelling reason to sign up, which is fine. The real reason for my low review is because in the middle of our conversation, another Verizon employee interrupted us and asked the salesman helping me various questions on behalf of his customer. My salesman was pulled away for a few minutes to help this other customer. I found this to be a bit rude and inconsiderate of my time.

Switching our phone service to Verizon took roughly eight hours spread across several days, including multiple trips to the store. Even after three weeks, our phone numbers were not assigned to the correct devices. We decided to , switch to Visible and it took less than 30 minutes and worked without issue. Canceling our Verizon account was another lengthy and frustrating process that consumed hours of my time. Despite only using the service for about three weeks on two phones, we ended up paying about $500. Months later, I received another bill in the mail. When I contacted Verizon to see why I was getting charged again, I learned the balance had already been sent to collections. Because the account had been canceled, I had no way to access or pay the bill beforehand. The entire experience was poor communication, inaccurate information, and excessive time spent trying to fix problems that should never have happened. If you decide to go to a Verizon store (I severely recommend otherwise) definitely go to another store because this one was infuriating.
