Went in to ask about the current promotion for new iPhone 16 when you add a line. A family member is leaving her job and losing her phone. We want to add her to our account which would be a new line. We also want to port the work number over to the new account and were told that we weren't eligible for a free phone with a new line unless we took a new phone number. This made no sense and I told our rep so. He got belligerent and basically said to talk to a manager and then walked away. I came home and called Verizon customer service and was able to add the line, get a free phone, and get the number ported. Will never go to this store again. read more

To review this specific Verizon store let me start out by saying I wasted 5 hours attempting to get a phone upgrade but walked out with the same old version phone that I started with. I have been getting text messages from Verizon for months imploring me to upgrade my old phone for free. So, I made an appointment online for this store. I specifically chose this store because it is not a Verizon reseller. I thought since it is a network owned and operated store the techs there would be easier to deal with. Our account is listed under my wife's name, so we go together and arrive a few minutes prior to our appointment time. Every tech in the store is already engaged with a customer. Most of the tech people appear to be sitting with a customer doing data transfers which can take 30 minutes to over an hour. I approached one of the techs and mentioned we had an appointment and how long did he think we would have to wait. He checks us in on his iPad and says he is not sure how long it will be, but the next available tech will take care of us. After 20 minutes of sitting around we decided to leave wondering why they allow scheduled appointments. As we are walking out the tech who checked us in stopped me and says maybe I can help you while my current customer is going through a data transfer. I say I just want the "free" upgraded phone that Verizon keeps texting me about. He points out the phone and I agree this is fine. Now we get to how the "free" phone isn't free. He says that the "free" phone is $800 and you get a $600 credit OR you can add a $19 per month protection plan charge to your cell bill and the phone will be free. I tell him we don't want the protection plan, but he says after a month you can cancel it. I agree to do that. We pick out the color phone that we want along with a screen protector and case. We pay for it and begin the data transfer. The customer that he was dealing with is still going through a data transfer begging the question why did we wait for 20 minutes if this tech and others are just sitting there during long data transfers. I provide the tech with all my icloud info and the number code to open my old phone. I say we will come back in 90 minutes rather than wait. He assures us that when we return the new phone will be all set up and ready to go. However, when we return another tech tells us that now I need to open my old phone with my finger print and it will now take another 60 minutes. This is complete contradiction of what we were told. I open the old phone with my print. We leave and return 60 minutes later. The phone is finally set up but it won't make or receive phone calls. The Verizon tech has the Verizon network people on speaker phone trying to resolve the issue. There were multiple "escalations" from one network person to the other. But now the store is at closing time so we are told by the store tech that we need to leave with the new phone and work directly with the network people to try to get the phone to work. After more than 30 minutes of the store tech and the network people not being able to resolve the issue, I said we've had enough. Please just get my old phone to work again. The tech got my old phone working and agreed to credit us fully for the initial charges when we started this process. I haven't checked my bill yet because I am still recovering from Verizon exhaustion. But later today will do battle with them to remove the "protection plan" that we didn't want for a new phone that we never got. read more

I worked with Matt the manager and two other associates and it was a great experience. They were all very knowledgeable. The service the coverage is perfect. I left after being on it for like two years. I switched over to T-Mobile for some type of a price break but they're coverage was terrible. I switched back to Verizon two weeks ago and the coverage is perfect. I do deliveries I do Uber eats GrubHub and DoorDash and run all three apps at the same time and never had a problem with Verizon. All the other carriers T-Mobile AT&T they all crashed when I run the apps like that never had an issue with Verizon wonderful service great coverage the best coverage of any carrier. read more

Worst cell phone service that I have ever had! It started out well for the first year but in the last 6 months I can barely make a phone call from my home or work and the data connection is completely unreliable. I have 4 months until I can switch back to T-Mobile or AT&T and can't wait! Even then I will have to pay out around $800 to pay off my devices but it will be worth it! read more

We had a GREAT experience at this Verizon store, especially with the sales associate REGINA. I came in with my 86-year-old mom and brother to add 3 phone lines to my account. I thought I had most of the information to transfer the service, but there was still account information she needed from Xfinity. She was very thorough, patient and had excellent communication skills on the phone and with us. She also clearly communicated information to my mom and my brother and also showed me what was the best way to get the most out of my account and with best deals. I loved how kind and respectful she was with my mom as well. She was VERY knowledgeable on every aspect of the process and there was nothing she couldn't handle!! I've had excellent service at the Verizon store I use with in California, but Regina was TOP NOTCH. Also, the other employees that we casually engaged with were also very professional and friendly. This Verizon location (across the country from us) allowed someone to come into the store with my husbands social security number and purchase phone and service on a payment plan, please note, they did not do a credit check for this, so someone who works there is actively doing this for their own gain (rep ID lamscje-emr86). Although Verizon understands this is fraud and has marked it as such, every time we have called to get the run around, we have been sent to collections for over $2500. We have filed a complaint with the BBB and plan to contact our lawyer. This place and Verizon as a whole needs some internal investigations to happen in all stores and departments immediately. Went at 4:30 and the door was locked. There were a few people outside knocking and trying to find out why the location was closed as we saw two men walking around inside. They ignored us completely, slapped a sign on the door, and slammed the gate shut in a ladies face with zero explanation. I literally have never seen anything like it. Incredibly bad experience. I switched service to Verizon and it took two hours of phone time just to get the transfer pin needed to change my number over from other provider linked up to my Verizon account. Then after waiting all day for a package with my phone that I had to sign for I found out my phone was stolen by UPS somewhere along the way. No biggie the rep told me to go to local store and I could buy a phone. Went here and after waiting 40 minutes I was told that they couldn't help me because my phone was locked and getting it unlocked would take longer than the 15 minutes that they were open for before the 7:00 closing time. They have to send you a security text apparently in order to work with you but I could not receive that text on my phone because I had not transferred my service over from other provider yet (no duh, I need the new phone I ordered for my new service). Now I can't order another phone to be delivered. The rep tells me after returning home and calling AGAIN and waiting forever for that there is an investigation underway and until it clears no other phone can be sold to me. This process is so unbelievably frustrating and Verizon has so many people giving me bad and opposing Information. I am totally appalled. What a nightmare and waste of my time for two days running now. Tomorrow will be Verizon phone apocalypse day # 3. I'm making if my job to tell any and everybody how bad this company has sucked. read more

They have a new policy where they will not look at your phone without you paying $30 up front. I paid. They did not fix the phone. The rep that tried was clearly a sales person; not a service person. He struggled with basic things I had to help with. Don't expect them to add value. read more

After getting the 'brush off' at the other 2 Verizon stores, I ended up here. John took my name & paged me when there was an agent available. Albert was able to hook us up w/ a new phone, the old flip top was about 8 years old! Albert was very personable & seemed to know what he was doing, & didn't try to 'pad' our bill. My only complaint is Verizon hasn't found a way to transfer the phones #'s & photos from the 'old' phone into the new one. My agent tried but had no luck. All in all, I was pleased w/ John & Albert's service, I'm glad it worked out, my next stop was going to be Walmart. read more

I had a fantastic experience at the store. The young men were all super helpful and super nice. I witnessed them being very patient and helpful to the elderly that entered the store. I read some negative reviews before I went to the store, but experienced the absolute opposite. We have run into a lot of difficulty with this store, which includes overcharging and falsifying promotions. They were verbally telling us promotion (their version), but would not show us the print version. Additionally, they have a 14 day return policy, but will only honor it on some things. I've been working with corporate for 2 1/2 months to finally get billing concerns straightened out. Management has stood behind over enthused sales person that misrepresented sale and over charged. Be very careful if shopping here. Also, it took over 3 weeks to recover photos and contacts for business purposes to be recovered. I went to the store on Sunday 23, 2020 to buy a new phone. The transaction went well EXCEPT: after transferring all of my data, photos, text messages etc. they never activated the phone so when I went to use it...it would not call out or receive calls. They wanted my street address for which I provided but told them mail goes to a PO Box. I was told okay, we will fix that when we finish up. Never got done. Sunday night I got the phone activated. Now it's Monday and I have been trying to resolve my login info, change the address, and find out why I am getting a bill via email already, I paid for the phone. Bought an Apple phone from Verizon on line. I was instructed to take it to the local Verizon store on PGA to get help in setting it up. The two people I talked with, Jena and Ryan Schiavo (Solutions Manager) were very rude, and disagreeable. I will never go in that store again. This was the second time I had been in this store and was treated very badly both times. Why do they hire very rude and people like that.
