They don't deserve a star, but I have no choice I have to put one to not curtailed their pride! Today I got the worse service I have ever had from a Verizon wireless employee at this location. Her name was Jessica Almutairi, never have I felt to so dismissed as I was today. This is actually the second time that I have been to this location and on both occasions I have not been pleased with the service. Jessica had no sales expertise she even advised to go and make a contract with At&t; do they want to make money?! Not only are they unenthusiastic about their job responsibilities, they are also unwilling to serve the customer with the ideals that Verizon is known for. When I asked to speak to the manager he also did not care about helping me. What could you expect from a downgraded and deficient city like Panorama? I decided to go to the Verizon at the Northridge Mall, what a difference! They actually were able to help me at an efficient time and excellent customer service. I came here today to purchase a 6 plus and was greeted by the rudest greeter, Sixteo. I asked if my mother can use the restroom and he replied," Restrooms are for customers only, go to El Pollo Loco." I responded, " I'm making a $400 transaction, does that not make me a customer?" I am honestly surprised that this location has such low ratings. I had an amazing and very simple experience with Pam. She got all our questions answered and got my new phone, service and comped accessories down flawlessly. She was very sweet and patient with my mom who isn't tech or contract savvy. It would frustrate anyone to have to answer the same questions repeatedly but she was very patient with mom which was a big deal. In these trying and expensive times, she helped us modify our purchase and make a selection that made more sense for our dollars. I felt very taken care of and felt very comfortable. It felt like talking to a buddy who's much more tech savvy than I. No pushy sales techniques or pushing a closed subject. She was so involved and attentive that she brought some water bottles out for me after I had mentioned that I wanted to wrap up and head across the street for a beverage. I was very impressed and would love for Pam to receive some recognition. As a first time customer to Verizon, I definitely appreciate her effort, attention to detail and warm personality. She made me feel that switching from my old carrier to Verizon was a smart choice. read more

Wow, seriously screw these guys. My year old phone shut down and would not turn back on or hold a charge. I walked in and first the guy at the door said nothing was covered because my screen was cracked. I informed him that it was the phone cover that was cracked and he immediately corrected that I didn't have one. I assured him I did and he finally peeled it (ruining the adhesive bond) to see that, yes in fact it was just the cover. Next guy took the phone for like 5 seconds and tried charging it. He came back, said it was a software crash and that all the info on it was likely gone forever. He also said the warranty was expired and insurance wouldn't cover anything. He told me my option was to finish paying off the broken phone, and then I could buy a new one. Thank god I didn't buy it. I instead went home to lament to my room mate how my phone was screwed. He said, "let me mess with it". Less than an hour later, he brought me back my phone in perfect working condition. All my pictures and numbers were still in it. Dude at Verizon was just a straight up liar. Maybe he didn't know how to fix it, but he clearly knew it COULD be fixed. Instead he tried to sell me a new phone! As soon as my plan is up, I'm switching back to AT&T. Verizon can eat it, and their employees here are fat swindling liars. read more

This store used to be full of sharp, personable, knowledgeable, clean-cut employees. Now you walk in and nobody gives a shit. The kid who helped me tonight looked and dressed like a pothead or something and had the personality of a lamp post. He could hardly be persuaded to look up from his device to help me and when he did he was unimpressive on every level: knowledge, salesmanship and enthusiasm. He had zero input on how the Galaxy 8 compares to the Galaxy 9. When I asked him he just said "its all there" and just pointed me to his screen. When I asked for the 8 he said they might have one in a box. He went to check and was wrong- he brought out a 9 but said it could not be connected to demonstrate. A huge store like that and no 'floor models'??? He told me "things have changed" and said that they don't help people connect phones anymore, that the store was closing in 15 min and that I would be asked to leave before I could finish setting up the new phone I was thinking of purchasing . WTF? Then he went in the back and returned saying they had no Galaxy 8 or 9 in the entire store- suppposedly they had all been moved out to make room for the 10. I told him that I was deeply dismayed at how that store had declined in every respect. He had a blank, unapologetic look in his eyes as if he had heard that a million times before. This is the worst experience I have ever had at ANY Verizon store and I will never go back! This location (Panorama City at Roscoe and Van Nuys) is a waste of real estate and personnel. I am thinking of changing carriers altogether after this experience. I gave one star because you can't give 'no stars.' As expensive as Verizon is one would think that customer service would be a priority across the board. Not in the ghetto, I guess. read more

The customer service guy who's supposed to sign you in was rude and unprofessional and was giving me attitude for absolutely no reason. Don't understand how they employ people like this at a front line in customer relations related position. Other reviews are good indication of stores current condition. Not sure about all these negative reviews, but my experience was great! I think this was in large part due to Marvin's excellent customer service skills. He helped us find a plan that best fit our needs, and gave us a solid overview of all options provided. Our meeting easily took almost an hour and a half, but this was because of some troubleshoot issues with our phones connecting/activating. Marvin was patient throughout and would help us with any and all issues we had. I highly recommend talking to Marvin if you need any help at this store, because he is sure to make it an easy and painless process! read more

The store said they would change my plan as requested and didn't. I tried to contact them, but the store's phone number goes to the general Verizon Wireless system, not to the store. Verizon Wireless says they will not fix my bill unless the store offers a credit, but there's no way to reach the store without driving back across town to get there. I have taken this to a corporate level and feel I need to warn anyone that goes to this location. I went in to upgrade my failing phone on the way to take my husband to surgery. We were helped by a young man named Josue. We asked if my line was eligible and how much the upgrade would be. He quoted me not more than $300.00. We kept asking him, is that it? He kept saying that's it. He then started bringing accessories out telling me they were included in the upgrade. I paid est. $275.00 out of pocket. He ran my card, brought his iPad to me and had me sign it after he ran my card. It was presented as if I was signing for my purchase of $275.00. I was never given a detailed receipt, only a receipt for the Credit Card payment. They have a strict 14 day return policy on an iPhone 8. At almost about 23 days the bill came and I was charged 849.99 for the phone that was added to my account on a 2 yr contract. NEVER once did this young man give us a price for a phone or let us know it would be on a contract for 2 yrs increasing our bill $40.00. He KNEW we wouldn't know the cost until the 14 days was up. The $275.00 was for all of the accessories he said came with the upgrade. Apple has a strict 14 day policy with Verizon on returns, so nothing could be returned. I took this all the way up to the Corporate level and basically, the iPad signature disguised as me signing my credit card receipt was my contract. I am stuck with the phone AND the accessories. I wasn't looking for a free phone however, I certainly wasn't looking to be handled in such a scandalous way. I'm a fairly intelligent woman and this young man used every loop hole possible to lock me into an $1175.00 purchase. Pathetic that someone would get their commission misleading people. This is only the beginning of me letting EVERYONE and every reporting agency possible know about this location, this employee and their practices. read more

I only go to this Verizon store because the customer service is very good. They are well organised and efficient. They also know how to transfer data quickly. It is a busy store, but I have waited much longer in Verizon stores that were not at all busy. Robert Chavez helped my son and I upgrade his phone and transfer data, then transfer data from my daughters broken phone to my son's old phone. No complaints, all went smoothly. They have a very good selection of accessories as well. read more

If you value security over speed of service, this is the cellphone store for you. Averaging 1 security guard for every 3 normal staff members, nothing's going to get shoplifted here! Too bad I even have to put one star! They deserve a minus star! Never dealt with a more unprofessional, rude staff in my life. More importantly how they avoid telling you the return policy. They say $ 35.00 re stocking price, BUT they DO NOT tell you if you buy any accessories, such as a phone cover or chip, it is NOT refundable. So when you return a phone and pay the re stocking price, you can not get a refund on the accessories. So what do you do with a specific accessory that you can only use on a particular model that you returned? My restocking ended up costing me over $ 100.00 and when I asked for the store manager, he was "conveniently" in a meeting. I ended up dealing with an idiot assistant manager....extremely rude. No customer service, very unethical in every respect. DO NOT go to this store! You mean nothing to them! I can't wait for my contracts to expire and go to their competitor where after many years of loyalty I will be respected and will be dealt with dignity. Verizon should be ashamed for training their staff to be sneaky and try to get money from their customers that is not due to them. I felt duped, it is a FRAUD and very disgusting. After complaining to the main customer service, they did right by me, but this store and their manager Jesus Leon should be shut down so they do not continue with their rip off of their customers. Never have I ever been treated in such fashion and I am only warning you about this because I do not want you to be humiliated and ripped off as I was! A few issues here... I bought a new phone a few weeks ago. First, the door at the street entrance was locked. Apparently, they want you to enter from the parking lot in back, but there is no sign on the only door visible from the street. So, you try to open it and double check the store hours until a security guard opens it for you. After getting in, I told the salesman what kind of phone I wanted and what color. He brought out the phone, presented me with 2 plan options. I chose the less expensive one, at which point he became rather abrasive and adamant about why I wasn't choosing the other one. Comments like, "I just don't understand your thinking," and "Are you never going to get a phone cover? You're just going to use it naked like this forever?" I stuck to my guns, got the plan I wanted, and left. Got home, found out I got a silver phone instead of the black one I asked for. This REALLY does NOT matter to me, because, yes, I DO plan to get a phone cover, just not the one they were offering me "for free" with the more expensive plan. I literally could have flipped a coin when it came to the color of the phone, but it bears mentioning that I didn't get the color I asked for. Finally, when my next bill came I had some device protection plan added on, which I certainly did not ask for and which I was certainly not notified of. Also, I can absolutely say that I have been plagued with telemarketer calls since buying this phone. Specifically from the date I bought the phone until now, I have received a barrage of telemarketing calls for the first time in the decade since registering on the Do Not Call list. Was it them? Did Verizon sell my number? Is it a coincidence? Hmmmm... Altogether, shady experience. read more

I was hesitant to even rate this a single star but had too as part of the review. This store is so bad when it comes to customer service, their franchise should be revoked. I strongly recommend anyone who reads this review to AVOID this store at all cost. I understand the need to sell phones, gadgets & service plans but when you ignore other warranty issues, this is down right bad for business. The customer should always be given the benefit of the doubt. Never to be treated as a some gullible entity who's cash need to be taken. Is it because a sales transaction which generates a commission different from a service issue. If they only offered me any service, heck I would even have bought Iphones for my kids. Wow! I had a great experience here & I am very happy with the the service from Verizon. I had been with Sprint for a very long time & was ready to change since they are just too expensive & raise their fees without telling you every time you upgrade your phone, I really did not consider Verizon, because I had the impression it was too expensive, then thinking about going to a Panorama facility was another chance I took, since the area is a bit shady. Well to begin with the guy who helped me was awesome, he was very knowledgeable & was able to guide me to the right plan & phone. It took a long time but overall the experience was great! I am bumbed I cannot remember his name, but he is young, has a nice sense of style, slim & has a mustache, also said he was new to the Verizon family. Hopefully that helps. Anyway, I actually pay a lot less for 2 lines & the service is great quality. I am very happy! read more

I purchased a phone here for my son around 3 to 4 months ago at the time of this review. At the time of the purchase the salesmen said he would give us a case for now because the otterbox case which we wanted for the phone was not yet in stock and that in a few months he would give us a free otterbox case for the Samsung Galaxy s6 edge no charge. The salesmen in question was a man named Lumis. Earlier today we entered the store expecting to just pick up another case free of charge. A sales lady didn't know what we were speaking of so we spoke to the manager. The manager told us that we were supposed to pick up the old case and bring it back so he could give us the new case. We then brought it to the store and then he said we gotta pay the diffrence which was 5$ becaue lumis never put in the notes that he would give it to us for free. But he did tell us in person, he even gave us his word. But in the end the professional manager who's name is robert gave it to us for free, after going through some hoops robert did the right thing.Thank you verizion for being honorable. read more
